Room well appointed clean and comfortable; staff well informed; friendly and attentive

Car parking - I'd have given this hotel a 10 all round but for the antiquated; difficult and frankly highly risky car park. Not enough room for an average turning circle to corner to the ramps for higher / lower levels for parking and exiting.. In some cases I had to reverse and inch forward and backward to avoid hitting / scraping the walls. Fortunately upon exiting this was achievable as there were many empty car parking spaces - had this been a full car park I'd have been stuck and would have been forced to ask for cars to be moved in order to get out of the car park. Car parking is totally inadequate for the level location and standard of this hotel. I'd strongly advise making alternative car parking arrangements if visiting this hotel.

The location and comfort were excellent. The dining was good and the staff were excellent.

The room was very tired, there was broken chipboard screening placed behind the bed covering sockets needed for phone charging etc. The cleanliness was a bit poor, under the bed was not clean, the bathroom was tired and the plug in the sink was missing. On entry to the hotel the notice in the lift stated order breakfast at reception when you arrive and get it for £10 per head. This we did but on returning home yesterday and reading my email invoice I find we were charged £15 perhead for 2 days i.e £60 instead of £40, I find that poor practice and annoying.

really nice place to stay, very clean, rooms are lovely and comfy. staff are amazingly pleasant and helpful. the breakfast was amazing I’ve never been somewhere with so much selection and the quality of the food was 10/10. the restaurant/ bar area is so lovely it’s got glass windows all around it with nice views and all in all is just really pretty. if we was to ever come to Leeds again this would be where we stay it was the best hotel we’ve been to in Leeds and we’ve been coming twice a year for 4 years.

The fact you get the pool included is really good however the pool is very small I found. and it’s hard to have a swim as it gets busy and is set out in a shape not a normal pool so it’s hard to swim lengths. the sauna and steam room was good but the sauna didn’t feel hot at all. also the lift wasn’t working properly which is crap when you’re on the 6th floor. The lift stopped at every floor, you was in it for ages as It keeps going up and down picking people up instead of taking you down and going in order like normal lifts. and the doors open and close on there own so you’re waiting ages just for it to start moving.

Hotel was central in Leeds City centre, right next to the train station. Also only a 10 min walk to Leeds City centre. Hotel room it's self was lovely and clean. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could ever think to eat for your breakfast. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Would definitely be staying again at the Hilton hotel in Leeds.

The only dislike was walking through the train tunnel to get to the hotel. Was abit smelly and full of homeless people. But that's nothing against the hotel it's self. Also could of done with a few more Toilet rolls in the bathroom, as we ran out and had to go hunt some more down from the staff.

we noticed that there were plastic shower caps put over the sensors and the fire alarm in the room, presumed from the person before who wanted to smoke, this should have been checked prior to us going in the room as this is a breach of health and safety it’s a good job we noticed we told reception who said they would investigate when and remove when out, we came back and they had removed one cap but not the other, we had to climb and try and remove this ourselves and we would not be able to sleep. hotel should check for these things. this was the only downfall

I had a small issue of complaint. Whilst signing in at the reception, however this was kindly resolved and more than adequately compensated. It makes the world of difference when management take the time and trouble to listen to your complaint and take appropriate action in that regard. My complaint was resolved by Hashim Khan, manager. Whom I found to be a highly professional individual with a genuine and sincere empathy for an unhappy guest.

The £50.00 charge insurance in the event that the room was not left in a satisfactory condition.

Polite and helpful staff from reception to cleaning staff. Everywhere clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Clean efficient and well appointed bathroom.

The hotel parking is a nightmare. A good 40 minutes wasted squeezing round several floors of extremely tight corners only to find nowhere to park. More warning should be given of this and directions to alternative parking. I feared I had accessed the hotel through an "enforced bus gate", but thankfully was informed that I had not. Warning should be given of this. Room safe was not working.

Close to the centre, had a gym and pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Provided towels and locker keys. Rooms clean and had everything, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities. Shampoo/conditioner, shower gel. Everything you need really and a safe. Breakfast was lovely, so much choice and a very friendly chef who cooked the eggs you wanted also bringing them to the table personally. The gym facilities were great, water machine with cups, sanitiser and top quality machines. On site car park too although didn't use it was £15 we found a space round the corner and saved the hassle of the one way system

Bath was quite small. The jacuzzi being part of the pool so wasn't hot like you would expect.

very good location , in the middle of the city next to popular clubs, good restaurants and bars aswell as the train station all in close proximity and walking distance. clean and large hotel with good quality cheap breakfast buffet. car parking available which wasnt busy and we got to park on the 1st floor right outside the entrance to the lift!

rooms are advertised with a large spacious shower however upon arrival we had a small bath with a shower head which was okay - ish. and bed wasn’t that comfy but still had a good sleep. hot tub in the pool area wasn’t heated but water in general in the pool was slightly warm already and jets in the pool worked.

+ Beds were firm but soft as I like + Pool and spa was functional and although very small, the steam room was satisfying when space was enough + Pool was quite unique in shape and a warm temp + Staff friendly and helpful + Robe and slippers in room

- Spa is tiny; only enough room for 2/3 in the steam room for example - Rather unattractive building from the outside, like a generic office block ( not much they can do about that though I know! ) - Surprisingly tricky to find from the train station despite being practically in it
