We loved our spacious, well laid out suite, and especially having a bath in the bathroom - something that one almost never gets in a hotel room these days. We really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the hotel staff we interacted with. Having such a high quality restaurant on site was another bonus, as was the very easy walkability to anywhere we wanted to go in the city. We will certainly be back!

The simple blind and net curtains meant light came streaming into the bedroom hours before we wanted to get up on a relaxing weekend away. Some good quality black out curtains in the bedroom would be wonderful for people wanting a little longer holiday sleep in 😴 If that could be organised we'd give the hotel a 10/10!!

The treatment we recieved from the minute we walked in to the hotel was absolutely fabulous. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our overnight break.

Room service. Dinner - forgot to bring up dessert Breakfast -forgot to bring vegemite with our sons toast. We called to get the vegemite and some how ended up with 2 extra servings and no vegemite for the original order. The food was fantastic and delicious, could of been alot hotter though.

The staff were truly amazing and accommodating. We initially booked separate rooms for our children and ourselves (an oversight on our part), but the staff went above and beyond by moving us all into the same room. This was a gesture they didn't have to make, but it made our stay seamless and easy. The manager on duty was incredibly helpful and couldn't have done more to assist us.

we were very happy with the experince

Great location, close to all amenities that the CBD has to offer. Restaurants are close by if you wanted to try something other than what was on offer in house. It was great to have access to a laundry as when travelling this is something to consider.

Parking was a bit tight and not that easy to get in and out of and perks were a bit scarce at times so it was first in best dressed.

The Launceston Sebel is perfectly located, easy walk to town and the Seaport with handy parking. My apartment was roomy, spotlessly clean, quiet, warm and airy with a balcony. A lounge and small kitchenette with toaster, kettle, microwave, sink and fridge made having a quick snack or breakfast easy. After an initial problem with a lumpy bed, I was moved with no fuss, to another room which was wonderful. The staff are delightful, the restaurant where I had breakfast was very good with great coffee. I'm a regular to Launceston and will only stay at the Sebel from now on.

Nothing, I can't fault it.

Car parking arrangements were very poor. On several occasions during my visit there were no available parking spaces, necessitating my having to park in the hotel’s loading zone. I understood that no parking permits in excess of the number of available spaces were issued. Clearly, there were at many times more cars parked than permits issued. Another problem is that the spaces are all very narrow - perhaps because cars are now often bigger?

The hotel is well located near both the CBD as well as a short walk from the waterfront. The rooms have plenty of room as well as a laundry in the unit which is very handy when travelling. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the restaurant staff were very friendly as well with a great breakfast.

Luggage store would have been very helpful in our case as we were travelling and returning for another night later that week. Some of the lighting in the hallways weren't turned on during our stay.

Near a traditional town clock that chimed regularly. Walking distance to CBD and shops or restaurants. Spacious living area with large comfy lounge. Beautiful beds with separate rooms. Functional kitchen set up for cooking full meals. Two bathrooms with clean and spacious areas. Laundry facilities and spacious wardrobes. We’ll come back again.

Very tight parking spaces

Spacious comfortable room

All good...although no need to include breakfast as no discount, menu equivalent to ordering as normal So no real incentive to spend 60 dollars. Thought if a buffet its value for money. Would have chosen to save a few $ by just ordering. Should make it more attractive!

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Location was good - easy walk to the water and to the main shopping area

Separate toilet without a basin - would have preferred a combined bathroom, but otherwise facilities were good
