Chose this location because it was close to Hyde park as I was attending a festival. The room was quite small but enough room for 2.

The only concerning thing was that we left our luggage at front by the door. Would have been better if there was a separate room for that. The room was a bit dark for my liking

Room 216 had a nice outlook and was more roomy than the room we were initially allocated. the location was excellent.

Initially given a smaller room on the third floor, with a loud buzzing noise. Then, with the replacement Room 216, the card couldn't open the door, and the staff didn't believe us. They sent us up again. The third time, a staff member came up and said, yes, the card doesn't work. The battery for the door was flat. The staff weren't friendly from the word go, they couldn't find our booking and asked for our passports. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

The staff were nice and helpful, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower nice and hot. Breakfast was very basic, toast cereal fruit yogurt and instant coffee/tea, but satisfactory. Location amazing, five minute walk to Paddington tube station which is a well connected station and quite central itself as well as being very easy to get to other central locations and to the airports that serve London. Hotel was also nice and warm but window was able to open to ventilate room which was nice as many hotels you can’t do this.

Sheets and blankets used on the beds, personally prefer a duvet. Room was small enough, although since we got a reasonable price was not expecting a huge room and it was plenty big for the two of us. No tea or coffee in rooms, although it is available at reception all the time.

I had a most comfortable room, a small but beautifully equipped bathroom. The continental breakfast was excellent, the staff very efficient, friendly and helpful.— The location near Hyde Park and the connection to Paddington Station absolutely perfect.

The hotel is conveniently located to Paddington station, for quick access to the Underground, Elizabeth Line, and express trains to Heathrow. Hyde Park is a 5-10 minute walk away. Beds are comfortable if small. Staff are friendly and helpful. 24/7 reception is a must for late/early arrival.

The rooms are small and the double beds are a standard 4’6” wide. If you’re used to a wider bed this may be an issue. Saying that we did expect this being a London hotel in an affordable price bracket.

I had an amazing stay at Nayland hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. My room was equipped with all the comforts I needed, including a wonderfully cozy bed. The the breakfast offered a fantastic variety of fresh, delicious options. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. The team’s dedication to excellence truly stood out. I highly recommend Nayland hotel and can’t wait to visit again!

I chose this place based on its location to Heathrow Express as we needed to fly out the following morning. It was exactly what we needed. Our needs were simple- shower & sleep and the Nayland delivered it perfectly. The room was small and cramped but that was not a problem for one night. I would not chose this for a longer stay, but it was exactly what we needed. Amenities are minimal but we did not need them.

We chose not to get the breakfast buffet. At 8 pounds (about $10 usa), it did not look like a deal. Give up trying to promote it and partner with a local restaurant/cafe or something. Paddington Station is a short walk with great coffee, tea and food choices. For less. I will point out the very tiny, cramped rooms. Because we were just there for 1 night, it was fine, but this would have not worked out for a longer stay. If you are wanting comfort and high level treatment- this is not the place. This is "I want a loo, a shower and a dang bed" place.

Great location, convenient to Paddington Clean rooms Coffee available 24/7! Breakfast available Plenty hot water in shower. Everyone from front staff to cleaning crew to kitchen staff were friendly and courteous. We had a 5 night reservation and due to possible severe weather needed to leave a day early. We were refunded for our last night! One of our friends stayed at hotel that didn’t offer breakfast. While eating at Subway, his phone was snatched from him.

Booked a family room for 2 of us as double not available, so we had quite a large room with 1 x double and 2 singles (would have been quite tight for 3 or 4 guests as beds close together, but each bed has it's own side table and reading light). Bathroom was modern and spotless, beds comfortable. At checkin we asked about taking breakfast and were immediately comped 2 breakfast vouchers free of charge. Continental style breakfast was basic but plentiful and unlimited (so I have given the breakfast a top score: very good for the price, which I think is £10pp) restaurant staff were extremely kind, helpful and patient, really really lovely ladies, made the stay very special. There is also a full bar, and free tea, coffee & biscuits. I would stay here again.

I love my coffee, and would pay extra for fresh brewed coffee if available.
