Excellent location with bus stop a few steps from the property and Paddington station under a 5 min walk away. Rooms were clean.

1 elevator for the entire building that made getting to and from the room to reception very slow. Breakfast range quite limited, and also found the breakfast staff quite rude, literally chasing us out at 10am on the dot even though we were still eating. Did not understand why we couldn’t be afforded 5 mins more to finish up breakfast, since the dining room was not being used for anything else. WiFi connectivity is not too great in the rooms, but it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Was not aware that hot water is limited at night - after 10pm water was lukewarm.

Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from Paddington. Breakfast was good value and was continually topped up, so was always warm and fresh. Staff were always friendly and attentive and the luggage storage service, was extremely handy and well organised. Rooms are well equipped with tea/coffee, plenty of storage, a fridge and a safe.

The rooms are very small, but the bed is massive! The bathroom is clean, modern and functional, but so small that you have to straddle the toilet to close the bathroom door. Although the room is small, given the small amount of time you'll spend moving around it, it wouldn't put us off staying again.

Accommodation is very close to Paddington station from which I travelled further onwards. Easy access and smooth check in at the hotel. Good bed for overnight sleep and stay for the 2 booked nights. Breakfast was ok but maybe some extra variation on choice of bread (adding some baguette types or buns/rolls) or mini pastries could be appreciated (only croissants to pick) Overall I can recommend the hotel for staying here for some days to wander around the city.

When turning on airconditioning it was blowing very cold air after several minutes and turned it off again when it became too cold. Turning on the sleep sign made the room lighten up more when going to sleep, this is just personal if you want to have the room dark when you go to sleep. The bathroom wall separating the shower and bathroom itself was a bit difficult to close when wanting to take a shower (with some looking into this it can be smoothened again).

The hotel was just minutes away from Paddington Station, where you can get a train or tube. Also, the bus stop was near. You can find different restaurants, cafés and pubs in the Paddington area. The hotel was nice, clean and very quiet. The staff was friendly. The room was surprisingly big. Breakfast was enough for us. There were different coffees, tea, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, bangers, croissants, toasts, yogurt, cereals, juices, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit and so much more.

The AC didn't work properly, the room was very hot. Luckily, you can open the window.

1. 5-minute walk to Paddington Station, where you can take a train directly to LHR (only an approx. 20-minute ride); a bus stop downstairs 2. Quite some eateries round the corner (e.g. KFC, Chicken Cottage, McDonald’s) 3. Very friendly staff, especially the male staff member at front desk at the restaurant. He has been very welcoming and helpful. 4. Breakfast included 5. Provide language storage prior to check-in and after check-out 6. Reasonable room size with a window

1. There is a ‘new’ annex which is at the back of the reception desk - the short walk linking the two buildings have steps - perhaps a concern for those traveling with big bags. 2. Special design of the hotel - Some rooms cannot be reached directly by the elevator. One still needs to walk up or down a short staircase to reach some types of rooms. 3. When wet, the floor of the bathroom can be super slippery. 4. Same food items provided at breakfast every day. Would appreciate one/two new dishes every two/three days.

We got a good price on booking.com for a 2 night midweek stay compared to other London hotels. The location is great, tucked down a side street so not too much traffic noise but just a few minutes walk to Paddington tube/train. The room we were in was in a separate block just a hop over from reception, all reception areas were clean and felt modern and well maintained. Our room was on a split level and was a good size, with a large bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge, coffee/ tea making facilities and a decent bathroom and dressing area. The reception and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful but importantly not hard to find, there was always someone at reception. For us it satisfied what we needed.

No negatives. Didn’t use the onsite bar/restaurant but it looked nice and we were given a 2-for-1 drink voucher when we arrived. The USB port next to the bed didn’t work but no biggie as plenty of plug sockets

A very nice hotel in a good location, can really recommend it. We had a room on lower ground, it was a spacious room that felt newly renovated. Some noise from the elevator (at least what we think) but it wasn't that disturbing. Good breakfast and very friendly staff in the restaurant. Our room was cleaned everyday which wasn't really neccessary but nice.

The male staff in the reception wasn't ss friendly or service minded as you could wxpect. We kind of felt like we were disturbing when we asked something.

The 10-night stay I had at Norfolk Tower have been surprisingly agreeable and pleasant considering its proximity to busy Paddington Station and it can be a worthwhile, if not the best, alternative to staying outside of expensive Covent Garden, SoHo, Mayfair or South Kensington. This might be the "best value" hotel for the newby London tourister or the single bagpacker for one very convenient reason : the Paddington tube station readily and efficiently connects you to any tourist destination you can think of. Just a few feet away outside the hotel is a bus stop that can bring you to Notting Hill. The immediate neighborhood has several nearby fast food / restaurants / coffee stores / and even the veritable English Pub and Fish&Chips store at the corner. Paddington Station has Sainsbury Local and a lovely M&S grocery if you want to buy cheaper dinner fare at the end of your day adventures. If you have some cash to spend, the wonderful restaurants around Paddington basin is just the area for you, a quick 15 minute walk. The room I had was a tad small compared to other European hotels I’ve been to - but it’s not unbearably small. It can be quite cold at night and I’m glad the staff gave me extra comforters and pillows which I was grateful for. The walls were not noise proof and I could hear some neighbors conversing but thank goodness not to the point of vulgarity. The room Tv has several BBC channels but I was left wishing for a more extensive cable lineup. Wi-Fi signal was pretty good. Water pressure was decent but definitely could be better. Bed is clean, very comfortable, no dust, no strange smells but had scratch marks at the headboard which was a bit of a disappointment. Staff has been courteous, polite, respond immediately to requests but could be reminded to be a bit more convivial towards their guests which is always appreciated if shown.

I am quite dismayed that the £15 breakfast downstairs did not have much selection to enjoy. The very continental spread was with no meat except for ham, no eggs and no choice fruits. The coffee and tea were basic. The one time i had breakfast with them was the last, and you have a better option getting your full brekkie around Paddington Basin. Their (small and narrow) elevator was also running quite slow and prepare for a 10 minute wait during the morning rush.
