Straight forward check-in. The room was better than expected as shown via booking app. Bed very comfortable, linen & towels very clean & good quality.

A few hairs in the bath plug hole, but no big deal. Put the plug in & there's no need to touch the drain. A regular spray of limescale remover would make a huge improvement to the appearance of the bathroom. Having worked as a commercial cleaner for some years & personal standards it's attention to small details which make a massive difference.

I'd read some other reviews of the hotel and wasn't expecting much, but for London it was reasonably priced, so I booked anyway. It was actually much better than expected. Room and shower/bathroom was spotless. Comfy beds and tea/coffee provided. Breakfast was a bit basic but again perfectly OK. And the location is excellent.

Main problem was the noise overnight. Room was very warm as faced the sun during the afternoon so I opened the window, but was surprisingly busy on the street.

Location, location, location! Within 8 minutes (some less) of walking you find a train station, 5 metro lines and several overground services. The neighborhood is safe and nice and the hotel is on the edge of Hyde Park. The room and facilities were fine. Some things extremely well thought out and some not at all. Room: Great shower om the first floor, good lighting above the mirror, window that opens for fresh air, extra pillows available and plenty of coffee and tea. Breakfast was continental and well organized, but no variety between the mornings and limited choices. Based on the above and the downsides below, you get what you pay for: An affordable hotel at an amazing spot!

The room was dated and although probably clean, the dated appearance made it look less clean. The headboard of the bed was worn and the tv didn’t really work unless you kept pushing the cable back in. We were sisters traveling and the bed was barely a queen size (and short). Advice is to book a different room if you prefer a normal/larger bed. The heated towel rack was fixed on the wall right next to the toilet and could not be manually turned on/off. It was set pretty high in the evenings and through the night. This meant paying attention to not burn your arm when reaching for toilet paper.

The hotel's location is close to any metro station and bus stop, and restaurants and shops are close as well, the place is quiet except for cars, but that's not the problem. The staff was nice and helpful with everything we asked, and the rooms were clean (cleaned every day, which we didn't expect/need) and nicely set. The breakfast food was good as well.

Central location is great, near Edgware Road, Marble Arch and Oxford street. A plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. Parking would be a bit of a hassle as there are little spaces available on site, and there’s residents parking in front of the door which can’t be used. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was ok with a selection of yoghurts, toast, croissants, cheeses/ cold meats, boiled eggs, etc. The bed was big and comfy, the room was small but neat. Great value for the price though!

Navigating through the floors was a bit difficult with heavy suitcases, but there are lifts. No AC in the rooms but glad there was a fan on the wall, which saved us! Sound isolation was a bit of an issue as we kept waking up from noises made pigeons all over the roof & other guests who were being loud at night.

Clean room, good breakfast, very good location near Paddington.

The window couldn't be locked, and cold air entered the room. The water drowning was very slow, and the bathroom was very small. On the first day, my wife saw a small mouse on the coridor.we announced the reception, and fortunately, we had never seen it after.

The location is a 5 mins walk from Paddington Station( 15 min ride from Heathrow by EXPRESS). The hop on hop off bus service stops just a block away. The room is adequate for 3 though though there were just 2 of us ( they allow us an early check in to another room). The breakfast is pretty good with toast,cheese, deli ham, cereal, hardboiled eggs, yogurt and coffee / tea( milk froth).The staff was very helpful.

The hot water is not consistent; not warm most of the time. The elevators are not available to some rooms.

Very central, great Checkin - no hassle at all. Fantastic budget option for micro stays in London.

The flights of stairs, would be impossible for older people or families with kids and prams.

1. Optimised-sized room, cozy enough for single person staying. 2. Big mirror and good lighting with dressing table which is big enough for all makeup and mess 😆, as well as bright white light and large mirror in the bathroom. Trust me YOU NEED THEM 😂 3. Cozy bed, blankets and sheets, with a little bit of weight. 4. Nice coffee from both the room compliment and breakfast room; I think how they arrange the breakfast is very considerate towards every culture or eating habits. 5. A very convenient and comfortable location for non-Londoners.

1. My single room is located near the staircase and somewhere near the centre of the building (lightwell? air shaft?) - wifi or data is sometimes unstable. I'm using Lebera on my mobile. 2. Shower would be a bit tight if you're like 5'10 rather tall or strong-built; consider requesting the tub instead. I'm only 5'2-3 and the space is fine for me.

Excellent location, helpful staff and comfortable rooms.

Lack of lift to upper floors was inconvenient as I was on the top floor and had a very heavy suitcase with me.
