Highly Recommended hotel! I had been living in Athens for 5 years, and initially I was reluctant to book in this area. Despite that it is excellent location, especially for tourists near to shop, Acropolis, Monastiraki, Syntagma, I was afraid that the area and the hotel would be very busy and noisy. On the contrary, it was fine, no problem at all with noise. The hotel is small but very clean and tidy, the girls in the reception were very helpful and they accommodated even a request that I had, despite that 95% of other hotels wouldn't! Breakfast was excellent and in reasonable times, good WiFi and TV! And in a very good price! I rarely give 10 in my reviews because there is always room for improvement however this time I will do! So to sum up: Excellent location, clean, tidy, good price, very friendly staff ready to help, good WiFi.

It was as good as we expected. The excellent location was THE BIG PLUS. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we requested.

There were no shelves in the wardrobes so we had to keep some of our clothes in the luggage. The temperature of the water in the shower was changing all the time, requiring to correct it permanently during the shower.

Excellent location, the staff are super polite, friendly and always ready to help gladly. The beds are sooo comfortable and the rooms extremely clean! Very rich breakfast with eggs, bread, wraps, yoghurt, juice, great coffee and much more. We stay here every time we come to Athens as its such a lovely boutique hotel. We were upgraded to junior suite and had an amazing view of the Acropolis from our window. It's value at an extremely good price. Definitely recommend.

There was only one thing I didn't like but this is just my opinion... Nothing major! In the junior suite, the wash basin was in the bedroom. Would've been better in the bathroom but this is a very minor detail.

Super affable and helpful staff such as Klaudia, who allowed me to check in early. Shout out to the kitchen staff who prepared a good spread of delicious breakfast everyday. The lobby and room smelled good upon entering. Room was clean and spacious. Water was strong and hot when needed. And Great location near Syntagma and Ermou. Walking distance to Plaka and every place of interest. Highly recommended.

Some noise from the streets but this applies to most hotels in Athens anyway.

The establishment delivered what it promised. The photos of the room reflect reality. The view of the Acropolis was indeed a view of the Acropolis, both from the room window and exclusive terrace. The breakfast was quite good and the facilities were adequate. The location was excellent, allowing access on foot (for those who, like me, like to walk) to all the points of interest, that is, the main tourist attractions and archaeological sites in Athens. The staff was always attentive and very helpful and efficient in helping me recover a personal item that I had forgotten in the room after checking out, and taking it to another destination in Greece.

Very narrow bed and excessively soft mattress.

At checkout I reported to the front desk that I lost my earrings. Then we left our bags for storage at the hotel while we went to Santorini for two nights. When we came back, Veronica who cleaned our room Monday and Tuesday approached me and explained she didn’t see my earrings. She felt very bad because the hotel called her on her day off (the day we left) and the hotel searched high and low for my earrings. Veronica even told me that they had to open up the vacuum to look for my earrings. She was very polite and gracious as she explained to me she didn’t see it at all. I assured her I wasn’t accusing anybody but ( as a former hotelier) I just wanted the hotel to know I was missing my earrings. She requested me to inform the hotel right away if I just misplaced it and find it in my luggage at some later time. I’m now in another hotel near the airport for my early flight home to California and my earrings are in my skirt pocket in a bag of dirty clothes. Mea culpa. I apologize to the hotel and Veronica for all the trouble. I have to come back to Athens and apologize in person sometime in the future. The front desk lady Lilian was also so gracious to arrange airport pick up of the next hotel as well as transfer from that other hotel to airport. She did that even if we have already checked out from Amazon two days before. I am thoroughly embarrassed for all the trouble to the hotel. I am sorry. I’ll see you ladies next time I come to Athens. Amazon Hotel and staff, I am sorry and thank you. I truly am very sorry, Veronica. She felt responsible to search for my misplaced earrings and Sinhala her for her concern.

Excellent location as it was a nice neighbourhood, close to everything we wanted to see and there were many excellent restaurants near by. Also close to the airport bus bus stop and metro. Staff were keen to help when we had a query - they gave us the wrong information but were keen to help. There was a lovely, welcoming smell in the hotel and the complimentary toiletries in the room were very nice.

I found the bed too soft but my son really liked it! We couldn't control the temperature in the room and and were too hot even though it was February - it wasn't an option to leave the window open due to the street noise. Room sound insulation seemed to be lacking as you could also hear people talking loudly as they stood waiting for the lift outside our room. One of the mugs in the room hadn't been cleaned very well and there was no milk for the coffee.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It is literally walking distance from all the major attractions. It is located in a very safe area with lots of restaurants and cafes. The hotel is extremely clean. Our cleaning lady Hanna did such an excellent job with our room every day. The manager - Natalia - was super helpful in answering all of our questions. Natalia helped us out immensely with any of the issues that we had. It is a gem of a hotel. It is so well maintained and run! Excellent value for your money!

Everything was just about perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

Easy to get there from the airport. Perfect location. Close to main attractions. Shops, cafeterias, restaurants steps away. I had an unexpected pleasant upgrade on my booking. The room was excellent, with Acropolis view. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Was nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea. Had everything i needed for a good rest. Would love to stay longer next time.

The room and common areas were clean. There was a small refrigerator in the room which was a huge plus. We were able to get bottles of water and keep them cold for when we needed them. They were able to accommodate us with an earlier check-in which was helpful as we had an overnight flight with little sleep. Breakfast was a plentiful selection of European and American choices. The location was excellent- close to everything. The only negative was that we could not get ice after the kitchen closed and the kitchen was only open from 7-10 am. We had a view of the Acropolis and a small balcony that we could sit on when it cooled off at night.

There were no services available such as availability of an ice or soda machine. There was no one to help with the luggage.
