Loved the location (brisk 15 min walk to Acropolis)& boutique hotel feel Bed/bath linens are of a 5-Star hotel quality Icing on the cake is the exceptional breakfast with a selection of breads , main course, coffee, fresh sqeezed juice- which kept us going till dinner time. Definitely recommend this diamond in the rough.

Have stated multiple times at this hotel. Recently renovated. The location is perfect!! Very central and just a minutes walk to Ermou and the shops. Syntagma square, 2 mins. Plaka and Monastiraki 10 mins walk. Beds very comfortable and this is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel(and I’ve stayed in many!) where they have decent firm pillows which make a huge difference to a good nights sleep! Delicious room service breakfast. Well done! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

It was lovely having the option for breakfast via room service or in the dining room. Breakfast also had a varied choice and was delicious. The room and bathroom had everything you would need. Also the room was kept clean throughout my stay. I would definitely stay again.

I didn't know how to contact the reception on the telephone. It would have been good to have a list of numbers or information within the room. There was nothing else I didn't like.

We stayed in our quiet corner room #404 on the 4th floor for three nights before our cruise from Piraeus. It was larger than expected and had a shared balcony with four chairs. The room was very clean and the bed was fine. The elevator was small, but could accommodate two adults with some luggage and we never had to wait very long. The staff members were very helpful getting our large bags up and down. The breakfasts were outstanding as you could choose two delicious items each from a list of about 20 and give it to them the night before. You could have your breakfast delivered to your room or have it in their bistro area on the ground floor. The location was perfect for us as it was near all of the major sights around the Acropolis, so we could walk to all of them. We bought the Combo Ticket for 30 Euro and also went to the amazing Benaki Museum which had a senior rate of 9 Euro (even for people not from the EU). To get to the hotel, we took the X95 bus outside Gate 5 from the ATH airport to Sygmata Square for 5 Euro and rolled our luggage a few blocks to the hotel. It was a little tricky over the uneven pavement and crowded sidewalks, but we managed. After our stay, we decided to skip the bus to the pier and they called a taxi for us for 30 Euro which got us there in about 20 minutes. We were very happy with everything at the Marblous Athens Hotel and would highly recommend it.

breakfast was a let down. One of the reasons I booked was the raving breakfast reviews. We waited 10 mins for a glass of juice to be poured from a carton and our food came out 20 mins later cold and soggy, there was only 1 other guest so not sure why we were served so slowly. The waitresses were nice however seemed very flustered and there were dirty dishes everywhere.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area and access all the key attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast selection was fantastic—fresh, tasty, and healthy, with a variety of options to suit every preference. The rooms were modern, stylish, and very comfortable, decorated with great taste. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, prime location, and overall high standards. A great choice for anyone visiting the area!

There was a bit of cold air coming in, and I could hear some noise from outside

The property had the best location, everything is at your doorstep. The breakfast was fantastic, very delicious and the girls working the cafe were very friendly.

When I first arrived they told me they had upgraded my room. Then they took me to a building across the road. Once I got to the room I saw that it was a different hotel. When I went to speak to the concierge he said it was their sister hotel. This should have been better explained to me before I was happy to move across the street. As a solo female traveler, it was important to me to have a 24 hour reception desk open. When I asked for my original room booking, they moved me immediately. It should have been explained better from the beginning what the situation was, saved me from moving twice.

I could go on and on. The location is so convenient in the center of Athens,the hotel is a small hotel, nicely decorated. Our room was spacious enough for two, the bathroom was large and the bed so comfortable! What I really enjoyed about the hotel was the breakfast arrangement, and the choice of having your breakfast delivered to your room at a time of your convenience with the foods you’d prefer. For us that meant breakfast in bed every morning! What we really appreciated though, was the kindness of the staff who on the second day when we didn’t want our room to be cleaned,they very kindly left clean towels and toiletries out of our door. Also, our last night, because we were leaving on an early morning flight they very kindly provided us with fruit and offered to prepare something for us. This kind of services were very much appreciated and I will totally recommend this hotel to anyone. 10/10!

They only thing I could say is that at times there was some minimal noise from the road which is totally expected as you are literally in the heart of Athens, and it wasn’t something that bothered us.

Our stay was wonderful! We got a corner unit with a big shared balcony with the neighbouring room, but it seemed as though it wasn't occupied during our stay so we had the entire balcony to ourselves! View from balcony was also beautiful, especially during sunset and sunrise. Everthing was clean. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. It was located in a perfect area for us! It's located on a relatively quite street, but we never felt sketched out. We walked EVERYWHERE in Athens, but with all the shops and cafes along the way, the walking experience was very enjoyable. Transportation to and from the Syntagma metro station was also very convenient.

Return visit after a cruise. The Marblous is an absolute gem in brilliant location in the midst of everything you could want to find. Close to all the best sights that Athens has to offer and so many restaurant options and a shopping paradise. It was the staff that make the Marblous a ‘must stay’ hotel from your greeting at reception by Christina, Constantine & William to the wonderful Georgia who provided the best service to our accommodation. The incredible breakfast which is included in the rate is amazing and sets you up for the day. I can’t praise the Marblous more highly.
