For us one of the biggest highlights was without a doubt the quality of service! We've stayed in a few places but the hosts couldn't have been lovelier at this place! Nothing was too much trouble, we received complimentary chocolates & even a message of appreciation for leaving the apartment so tidy in addition to emptying the rubbish bins on the day of departure. It felt so wonderful to be both welcomed & appreciated! The hot tub, coffee machine & hydrotherapy shower were undoubtedly a wonderful addition to our stay whilst the location was perfect for accessing all the local amenities

Unfortunately we found the lighting to be rather on the dim side in certain rooms; particularly the bedrooms & bath/shower rooms; not ideal when it comes to shaving, applying makeup & such Whilst heavy fire doors are required by law, they do have an awful tendency of slamming; something which we noticed was a bit of an issue with the lower ground apartment; sometimes after 10:30pm! I hope going forward the hosts might consider using cushioning pads or possibly something to go around the door frames; especially for those of us who are light sleepers or particularly sensory based. The last drawback is that there was a large amount of stairs throughout the apartment. Although something which cannot be resurrected, it did make things a little difficult when you have luggage with you.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, it have everything we needed to enjoy our home from home break. The host even added in extras for our newborn baby like a baby bath. The hot tub was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The host was very friendly, welcoming and made sure we felt happy with everything right from booking the apartment to leaving.

What a lovely place to stay... it was like a luxury home from home. Loved everything. Especially the hot tub and hot drinks machine. Perfect location for chester city centre. Our host was fabulous and had great communication, and gave us 10% off Cheshire Oaks outlet for our shopping trip on the way home. Will definitely stay again.

A sweet little owner-managed House apartment. The accommodation is spacious, well presented and a few minutes walk from Chester town centre. There was a wealth of facilities and gadgets available, and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and well ordered.

The private entrance was used for cleaning equipment and (from memory is unlit) which makes for a rather cramped, dark entryway.

Location, coffee machine, hot tub, home feel

On arrival we parked outside to unload our bags and go inside to get the key for the padlock on the car park. We returned to the car to find sticky tape on our windscreen which was hard to remove and our tyres had been let down. We believe it was people out of the finance building next door. This caused us a massive inconvenience but didn’t let it ruin our weekend.

The location is great for getting in to Chester, it is also a short walk from the station or if you choose to drive there are parking spaces, the kitchen is very well equipped and has a really good coffee machine,the bedrooms are all a good size ,bathrooms are modern and everything was spotlessly clean , however I have to say that the best thing about our stay was the host Paul, who went so far above and beyond to the point of getting an air conditioning machine for us to use in the heatwave, allowing us to stay an extra night when we found ourselves stranded in Chester, and offering us help with anything we wanted, a magnificent host.

Stairs ! Lots of stairs ! Pictures can be misleading as two apartments.... bigger apartment has very small roof top/ hot tub area...

This apartment has so many amenities you wouldn't expect. Cleaning products, cutlery, wine glasses, coffee machine, iron and ironing board, fridge freezer and a lovely touch was having ice in the freezer.

Parking a walk away . Also no tvs in bedrooms that would be a bonus .

The apartment is in a great location, quick walk into the city centre. Handy having the parking space (5min walk from apartment). Apartment very comfortable & has everything you need. Lovely big, fluffy towels and had some robes. You do need to bring your own towels for the hot tub. There were only 2 of us so we had lots of space. The hot tub was a lovely added extra, really hot. It's not as bubbly as most hot tubs, but maybe to keep the noise down? You cannot use after 10pm, due to noise issues but this wasn't an issue for us.

There are a lot of rules that get e-mailed after booking. We got the feeling the owners have had issues with guests in the past, but it did feel a bit much. There are cameras above the hot tub. We were made aware of this, but it's not ideal. Someone comes in everyday to check the hot tub. The owners did ask what time was best and the lady was lovely. But with the rules & cameras we felt we may be being checked on
