Our stay was so enjoyable. George and Theresa made us feel very welcome and at home. The room was comfortable, warm and had everything you would need for a short stay. Although the bathroom was separate, this was not an inconvenience as it was 2 metres from the bedroom and was spacious, warm and immaculate it was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We would recommend a stay with George and Theresa if you are in Chester it's a lovely, homely b&b and represents fabulous value for money. We will, of course be revisiting. Free parking in Chester city centre! Also, the best full English ever :) Awesome :)

There was nothing to dislike.

George is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. You can tell his heart and soul goes into making your stay the best. He thought about every little thing, from wine and beer upon arrival, the room included dressing gowns and slippers, tea & coffee, a selection of chocolate bars and more. The large private bathroom is fully stocked and has everything you could possibly need with a range of toiletries you can use. Everything is exceptionally clean and the room is based on the back of the house which is really quiet. There are fans in the room if you need them too. The breakfast is out of this world! Selection of cereals and fresh fruits and yoghurt. I would highly recommend the cooked breakfast, it was perfect. Location is great - opposite the park and 5-10 mins walk into the main part of Chester. If you're wanting 5 star service in somebody's home, this is the place to stay. Thank you George. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting.

There is nothing not to like friendly welcoming hosts who go the extra mile to make sure everything is spot on, welcome drinks, chocolates on the bed in the evening, amazing breakfast ( best cooked breakfast of our whole trip). Room was inviting and comfortable. B&b close to everything so we just parked the car and walked everywhere perfect. Thanks for having us

2 ‘be aware’ if you are not so agile you may find the steps up and down to the bathroom a bit of a struggle. Try not to time your arrival for school pick up and drop off times as you may struggle to get a car park.

We had such a lovely stay. My husband & I felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was cosy & comfortable, with extra special touches like Prosecco & bath robes. The breakfast was absolutely amazing definitely one of the best we have had! Everything was fresh & delicious. George the host was super friendly & helpful. He went above & beyond by calling a local restaurant for us when we couldn’t get a reservation. Thanks to him knowing the owner, they managed to squeeze us in. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

The location is ideal - within walking distance of everything important. George ensured there was a parking place right outside the house. He was very welcoming, friendly, very attentive (possibly almost too attentive for our taste). Prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent, too - a good range of fruit and berries, a great cooked breakfast.

We would have preferred a slightly lighter touch. It was nice to have the empty prosecco bottle removed from the room while we were out the first time, but a bit over the top to have the complimentary chocolates re-positioned on our bed after we had moved them off the bed!

George is a great host and his attention to detail is 100%. Wine & Beer were offered upon our arrival along with Tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. Because it was a Friday night George kindly recommended a place to eat and booked it all for us. Such a kind jesture, thank you once again. Upon our return there were chocolates on our bed, but the following morning we experienced the best cooked breakfast we have ever had! Prior to tucking in, there were fresh strawbs, blueberries, grapes, nuts, cereals, yoghurts, milk along with a selection of various juices plus a choice of teas, coffee, toast and jam. The room was very clean, tidy, quiet, and well equipped. It made it a really enjoyable 3 day break. Thank you a million times George and we would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit.

Booked very last minute trip and it surpassed our expectations. From parking up the car to leaving the following day George helped enormously. Couldn’t have asked for a more central location. Exceptional value for money. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and very enjoyable. It was good to talk to George and hear that he believes in treating his guests as he himself likes to be treated when he is away and as such the personal touches put the stay on another level.

The only downside to the property is having to leave your room for the bathroom. However, dressing gowns and slippers were provided, it was only a couple of steps away and it was for our own private use. This wouldn’t stop us from staying again if we were visiting Chester.

What can I say :) George was a fantastic host. On arrival we’re beers and wine waiting for us in our room, What a thoughtful gesture but that didn’t stop there. The room had everything we needed and much much more. The breakfast was exceptional from Cereals, Fruit and Yogurt to a full cooked English breakfast which set us up for the day, we came back our days out to fresh supplies of milk and even a chocolate bars awaiting for us, fresh towels every day Nothing was to much trouble.

George was a lovely host, friendly to chat and a warm welcome with all the amenities you could want! There is parking out the front but limited spaces, but George was going to get me parked in some way, luckily I got a spot out the front. He set up the permit for me so I didn't have to worry. Breakfast was AMAZING, I felt stuffed afterwards and was accommodating for my dietary requirements! The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely warm feel to it. The bed was decent and not too firm but not one of those soft ones either. Lovely and quiet area of town, away from the main high street but minutes walk to the centre! I think the next time I am in Chester I'll be checking out George's place to see if he is free again!

We could not have been looked after any  better by George in his lovely home. With wine & beer in our room upon arrival with tea, coffee & chocolates too. Each time we went out it was restocked. Beautiful room, a lovely comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast is amazing with so much choice & cooked beautifully. The fruit is so fresh with fresh flowers on the table. George is lovely and really makes you feel welcome in his home. Thank you for such a great weekend, we will be booking again.
