Gorgeous little apartment at the top of Urbino, close to free parking just outside the ZTL. Very cute place with gorgeous secure courtyard on one side & easy access to the main walk into Urbino central.

It’s perfect for us, but not suited at all if moderately mobility impaired due to being at the top of a tight spiral staircase, and at the top of a very steep walk down (& up on the way back) to the main part of Urbino. If this isn’t an issue, it’s wonderful because it’s also very quiet in this part.

The kitchenette - I enjoyed cooking meal on my own, without having to go to restaurants everyday. Facilities - it was well furnished and I didn't feel uncomfortable in that regard at all. The iron in the closet was very appreciated. Neighborhood and location - Abornoz fortress and park is literally steps away, close to via Raffaelo, feels like living in one of the local homes. That a laundromat is also located just across the street was a bonus. Breakfast - The bar the host provides coupon for was very nice. Coffee and brioche was delicious, the owner was so friendly. Relaxing at the outside table felt heavenly in April.

My unit was located on the lowest level and didn't get much natural light, so naturally, the room felt a bit like a basement. Although I had a quite big window there to get some fresh air in. Some kitchen utensils seemed to need update. The lights were all very "white" and gave cold feeling, but it's just me preferring warmer colors of light.

Stayed three nights in the downstairs Otaksa room while visiting our son who was in Urbino for a study abroad program. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations - location, comfort, cleanliness, host, breakfast - all of it! Room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was large with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We did not really use the kitchenette but it appeared to have everything one would expect. Breakfast at both cafes where vouchers were provided was very good. Location at the top of the hill was also very convenient and we didn't mind the walk back up the hill each night. Thanks to Nadia for her recommendations and superb communication throughout the stay. Highly recommend if your travels take you to Urbino!

Location was perfect for access to the bus station back to Pesaro, and the sights (though the steep hills are challenging!) I wasn’t clear what the breakfast at the nearby cafe actually included, but it was fine and the cafe owner was very welcoming and makes a great cappuccino. .

No draining space or tea towel to dry dishes…everything stayed wet. Also no sharp knife except a bread knife. The shower was on the tight side.

We had a wonderful stay and Nadia helped us perfectly by staying in touch throughout our stay to check if everything was in order and to give us needed and/or desired info. Also, we loved the breakfast place, it's external but right around the corner and offers a wide range of choice for a very good Italian breakfast. So, we will stay here again whenever we'll be visiting Urbino in the future. Lastly, regarding nice places to eat, we recommend La terrazza del Duca and Borgo 21, these offer a splendid view of Il Palazzo Ducale and delicious food. Also, for amazing pizza we recommend Il Ghiottone on Piazza della Repubblica.

Easy self check-in and check-out.Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great and surprisingly functional kitchenette.Responsive host.Quiet location.Nice touch to get a breakfast voucher with a wide variety of choice in the nearby cafe.

The view was to a wall. The heating was not efficient,it was chilly although I set the room temperature to 21C.Power sockets were not the EU standard and only one adapter was provided

Great location in historic city centre. Easy to find and uncomplicated. It was very clean and everything worked faultlessly.

I didn't expect the room -named 'otaksa', to be a semi basement, this could have been clearer in the description. The accommodation is on a hillside, so one side is at street level and the other below ground. It felt slightly damp and musty due to this. For less agile guests best take luggage in by the back entrance, on street level, avoiding the tight spiral staircase.

The most beautifully decorated and equipped apartment I have stayed in on my travels this time in Italy. I loved it. Modern but VERY stylish. Very comfortable bed, quiet, great shower and bathroom. Perfect in every way. Nice touch to have local wines in the fridge (to pay for) but I had enough over dinner! I did not meet Nadia but communication was very good. Right at the top of the town near the Raffaello statue and very well situated with fabulous views from the Fortezza Albornoz along the street. Breakfast is via voucher at friendly local cafe. Highly recommend this place.

Be warned that parking, while nearby, is quite tricky. The B&B is inside the ZTL so no car access unless a resident. Parking is payable by the hour 0800-2000 and only accepts coins, so make sure you have plenty ( I didn't) and wasted precious time getting change, revisiting the meter etc. There are are free spaces further on beyond the blue-line marked pay-spaces ( I don't get the logic of that) marked by white lines, but both on my 1500hrs arrival and even at 0730 the next morning, they were all taken, as the canny locals get there first. A small price to pay but could mount up if you are there more than overnight.

The view from the window is lovely. Room was peaceful to sleep. The bed could have been softer for me but husband said it was ok. All was fine. Breakfast was at a friendly cafe near by.

The spiral staircase to the room is very narrow so it was difficult to get a big suitcase up but our hostess came to help.

The location is peaceful and in the old part of the city, convenient for sight seeing, restaurants and bars. There is an attractive small courtyard to sit in, with lighting.

Nothing needs to change.
