Fantastic breakfast, great view from the terrace and kind staff. Highly recommended! Also situated in the middle of the city centre in between El Ensanche and the medina.

Wonderfully situated place right next to the medina, with a panoramic terrace and great food. Visiting a nearby local hammam for a cheap price is also recommended. The riad also offers enjoyable hikes with local people which were a pleasure. A great stay to visit Tetuan, I highly recommend.

Beautiful and autentic decoration of rooms and building in classic Moroccan style. Very friendly and helpful staff who helped us with trips organization.
A bit noise from downstairs when other guests do not respect night time calm…

This is a beautiful riad buried in the heart of Tetouan. It's not hard to find with google maps. Our room (Aladdin) was very long with two double beds. There's a rooftop with an amazing view for sunbathing or relaxing under a big canopy. Breakfast was served on the ground floor and was very nice (fresh juice, good coffee, eggs and bread with jam, honey and olives). One of the receptionists, Usaman, was really helpful. Thank you! We loved Tetouan - a very authentic and not touristy town. We liked the Restinga restaurant because they serve beer and wine, and the food is great!
Our room faced the lane and was noisy at night with comings and goings, but it didn't bother us too much. More bothersome is if there are other noisy guests as there were one night we were there. Sound reverberates all round the riad. The steps up to the rooms are very steep so beware.

Beautiful riad! Usama was especially friendly and helpful at our check in and check out and we really enjoyed visiting with him.
We were there the same night as a big group (20 people), so it was a bit noisy in the evening as they hung out in the lobby (noise carries easily through the central opening space). Then, through the night, we could hear quite a bit of noise from outside the riad, people talking and carts passing by. It wasn't the best night of sleep.

I have visited over 60 countries and, honestly, this hotel is the most unique hotel I have stayed at! The hotel is just an amazing, beautiful work of art! If you want a sense of what Moroccan culture is like, stay here! Everything from the floors to the walls to cozy breakfast area is just one unique photo op after another! And the rooftop deck has a view that is just stunning! The hosts at the hotel were so helpful and so kind to arrange tours and answer our many questions. They have poured their hearts and souls into this gorgeous hotel. And location--you are just steps away from the local souk, many restaurants, the Presidential Palace, etc. My friend and I HIGHLY recommend this place for a totally unique cultural experience.
A little more variety in the breakfast offering. The hard boiled egg, several types of bread, fruit, coffee, etc. was fine, but it was exactly the same food, prepared the same way (hard boiled egg), each morning.

Suleiman at front desk was wonderful. He met our taxi and helped us with our bags both coming and going. He also arranged a taxi from Tangier to Tétouan and Tetouan to Chefchaouen for us. Very nice & friendly throughout. The common lobby and breakfast areas were very nice. Good breakfast. The location was good. Restaurants nearby. Lots of narrow steps to get to our room (common in old riads). Room was fine but very small and bathroom needs to be updated.
Very small room and bathroom needs to be updated.

The riad is beautiful. I had the green room. Its right in the center of the medina, just off the royal palace. The breakfast was simple but delicious and once the noise from the passage calmed down (cca 2300-2330) i slept very well. The rooftop has amazing views. And i was glad to have an electric kettle in my room.
Its not that i didnt like it, but the staircase has some very high steps. I had to go down super carefully. Otherwise i liked the riad very much!

Such a beautiful property in the heart of the old town, amazing views from roof terrace, very lovely traditional rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was very nice.
The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is in a pedestrian part of town so you have to walk from the taxi for about 5 mins. Also the stairs in the riad are incredibly steep and narrow so not suitable for children or mobility impaired.
