- The staff made the experience unique. It’s their little attentions, smiles and kind words (also the way they seemed to enjoy working with each other) that gave it the feeling of a family business… I came to visit London with my dad who is 77… The way they treated him felt very much like they would do with their own uncle (providing recommendations on where to eat close by, lending him an umbrella…) That meant a lot to him and to me, so huge thanks! - Location: amazing! Super close to Gloucester Road on the Picadilly line + nice neighbourhood - Having a fully functional flat was really nice for my dad and I. It felt a bit like being home - Having room cleaning on request included was really great - Clean place in general - Nice temperature control system - Although the living room didn’t have a great sound insulation (eg could hear the street, but hey, it’s London ;) ) I could really see that big efforts were made to soundproof the bedroom… We had very calm nights!

Street traffic quite loud even on the 5th floor. Elevator very small, only holds 2 people without luggage so we climbed the stairs multiple times a day. I was under the impression that there were washers and dryers in the building, but there aren't.

I would like to have more hooks for towels in the bathroom. There is only one, on the door, and for me it was not enough But this is really a minor problem

Great location in South Kensington, very close to the tube station, with multiple restaurants, market and shops within walking distance. Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, the Museum of Natural History are all within 10 min walk. The 2 bedroom apartment was not luxurious but spacious enough, with comfortable bedding and was fastidiously cleaned every day. This is the cleanest place we stayed in during our 3 week European vacation, with perhaps the exception of a 5-star Marriot hotel. The central air conditioning was excellent and a rare treat outside of hotels in London. The staff at the reception were very nice, friendly and accommodating- they take your luggage to your room- something I have never seen while renting a vacation apartment.

The apartment was not as nice as the pictures in Booking.com led us to believe- the pictures posted were of the executive apartments, which were not available, although that’s what I though I had booked. The furniture was old and the sofa in the living/dining room had holes in it. The kitchen is the size of a half bathroom, and fits one person at a time. We could not use it other than to boil water and make instant coffee. There is no washer in the apartment or building and so we had to take our laundry to a dry cleaner down the street. Lastly, even though it’s a non-smoking facility, the entire apartment reeked of cigarette smoke throughout our 7 day stay.

It was spacious, well equiped and clean. The staff was helpful.

The elevator was malfunctioning. The staff would unlock it to go upstairs but going down we had to go on foot. Not ideal walking 4 floors with a baby in our arms. Small inconvenience that I hope will be fixed soon.

Great location, close to tube, supermarket and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Has everything that you could need. Clean.

Place is a bit tired. Couch could be replaced, and the bed base is too big so banged into it a lot.

There was a lovely lady receptionist and whilst we were waiting in reception to go out , another receptionist was sat opposite her and she was trying to explain how to do something on the system. He wasn’t having any of it and seemed like he was upsetting her. This wasn’t great to see as guests , he wasn’t nice .

Great location, 2 min walk from tube station and lots of places to eat right on the doorstep. Spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Have stayed in different hotels and areas of London in the past a few times and this property and area are somewhere I’d definitely return to. Treated ourselves to an upgrade with the penthouse….use of the private terrace roof area alone made it worth the money! Staff were friendly.

We stayed in room 303 (the bathroom is suitable for guests with reduced mobility as it has hand-grabs everywhere and a fold-up chair in the shower). We asked for a quiet room and it definitely was really quiet with no traffic noise whatsoever. The kitchen facilities were really excellent - everything you need to cook your own meals if you wish to do so. The towels were changed every day and the overall cleanliness was appreciated. The Gloucester street tube station is literally a 1-minute walk away. There are lots of eateries a short walk from the Harrington, plus a Tesco express, a Waitrose and Sainsburys just around the corner.

As a lot of other guests have mentioned, the lift does not work very well. The sink in the bathroom is way too small and should be changed as it’s no bigger than a hand-sink in a toilet meaning it is very difficult to bend down to brush your teeth without splashing water and toothpaste everywhere and there is no tooth cup holder ! There is also NO WHERE to place your toiletries - even though there is certainly enough space to add a small cupboard or some shelves under the sink. There is also only one hook to hang up bath/hand towels so more hooks should be added please and these few changes would make a huge difference to the comfort of your guests - after all, it is supposed to be a 4-star establishment !

Had a room with a kitchen. The bedroom and kitchen were nice and very spacious, especially the kitchen, however the bathroom (probably due to having the kitchen in the room) was very, very small, as in you couldn't use the sink without closing the door, and to close the door involved some machinations of movement, definitely cannot fit more than one person in there. the kitchen was huge though and stocked nicely. Small table in living area was fine, there was a couch, and the bed was comfortable, there is a giant wardrobe in there that shrinks the usable room area. Location is great.

Bathroom was very tiny. In and out to the property is odd. Construction was going on at the time in the street front space, so a little disruptive, and the elevator was out for a bit.
