We had the pleasure of being served by Gosia during our stay, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. She was not only professional but also incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel truly valued throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu and helpful suggestions made our dining experience even better. It was clear she genuinely cared about our experience, and her kindness and efficiency stood out. We’re very grateful for the wonderful service she provided, and it made our time at the hotel even more memorable. Thank you so much, Gosia, for looking after us so well!

Location was beautiful but the star for myself & my wife were the staff.. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like old friends & the bar staff if possible brought it to a new level. They were friendly, efficient & generous of heart..My wife went to the spa & as it was her first time using a spa was a bit nervous. The staff in the spa put her at her ease especially Paul who was a true gentleman to her & made the afternoon very special for her. On a number of occasions after her treatment day we met the staff coming out of the spa & they greeted my wife like an old friend.

The only down for us was the pricing of the food, it wasn't on the high side of expensive bur could be pitched a bir lower. The finishes in some areas could be better such as large cobwebs on window our to the verandah. Also plants in some planters were dead which takes away a little to the overall impression.

Property was brilliant, lovely location to go into the town, beds were so comfortable! Shower was lovely and we had complimentary brownies upon arrival was fantastic!

Nothing bad to say about it! But the only thing I will say is at dinner a plate or piece of cutlery was dropped/smashed and a young male waiter who had served us went in to the kitchen where the plate(not sure if it was a plate but it did smash) and started cursing the f word with the door open and anyone who was out for dinner could here it! And we had felt bad for whoever was being cursed at/guving out to! Other than that was absolutely brilliant!:)

Amazing bed, walking distance to the village, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere, the little box of chocolate cake was a nice touch

The breakfast was a continental buffet however the hot breakfast menu while it had a bit of everything on it didn't offer a big portion of breakfast you'd expect. Everything was well cooked and delish I think every traveller enjoys a hearty offering of a hotel breakfast in the morning, before a busy day, the breakfast is as much of a treat as the stay itself. I can't fault the menu, it had sweet and savoury options I was just left a bit peckish and reached out for pastries and fruit then.

Staff courteous and helpful. Room spacious and bed very comfortable Spa relaxing and some reasonable offers on there, one of which we availed of. Fine food in the restaurant. No noise from traffic as the hotel is in off the roadway. Parking available right up to the front door.

On night one, people in the next room returned (probably inebriated) after 2am and made awful noise for an hour. Had to ring reception but that didn't achieve anything. They were gone the next day, but we were both very fatigued as a result. Our room was too warm and we had to leave the window open for the duration of the stay. Our bath/shower retained water as we washed. Price of the room was at the upper end of the fees we normally pay, yet we have had many other nights/weekends away in hotels around Ireland that offered the same for a bit less. At the end of the day, a good hotel, but having spent in excess of €600 in total to cover our 2 night stay, spa treatment, evening meal and drinks, it was most disappointing to have only got one good night's sleep into the bargain.

The view and location were perfect and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff were very good and very helpful. We were asked if we needed anything on a few occasions.

I ordered a 12oz rib eye which was very small although I did order well done. No onion or onion rings which I think is a given with steak. The outside seating area just off the dining room badly needed good sweep, and there were quite a few cobwebs there. After breakfast on first morning we sat outside for abt 45mins. We passed through the dining room after that and our table had still not been cleared. It's all small stuff that can easily be corrected. We did still have a lovely couple of days and all the staff were very attentive.

Accusation by staff that it was my fault I didn't know the correct definition of the words "ground floor" when it came to their hotel. This was one person. the rest of the staff was as helpful as they could possibly be.

We were given a room on the 2nd floor, but we have mobility issues and somebody had lost the key to the elevator that would have allowed us to get to the room, so they had to get us a room on the first floor, but only after leaving all three members of our party on 3 separate floors waiting for the elevator to get us to the correct floor.

The rooms were lovely and clean.'we had a lovely view of the garden from our room the staff were lovely helpful and very hard working. There was great choice on the breakfast menu the beds were very cosy. The location is great and we would definitely stay here again. Big gratitude to all the staff here 🙌

No pool but there is a lovely out door pool in killaloe so that's a good facility .if u got an elderly person with you it would be best to stay on the second floor door behind reception. There is a staff lift that is available up to 6pm

Breakfast was unreal which was included in the price for the stay (tea/coffee/juice and a three-tier afternoon tea set up before the main breakfast)! Dinner was delicious with great ambiance created by live music. Such a comfortable stay, used the spa also. Had it to ourselves. If you want royal treatment, this is the place to go to unwind!

The only minor issue was that the shower was leaking so I could hear droplets of water dripping down into the bath at night. I'm a light sleeper so that kept me awake.
