I was very impressed with how accommodating the hotel team were when I messaged before my booking date to ask for a quiet room. They were quick to respond and reallocate my room. The room was basic, a little tired, but very clean and the bed was comfortable, decent shower too, once I worked out how to use it ! 😊

Although clean and comfortable, the room I was in was a little tired and would possibly benefit from a bit of a repaint and update, but it didn't detract from the stay and for the price paid it was good value.

Bed is extremely comfy and the room is very spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful !!

Stayed once before and no issues, this time however the floor in the bathroom was mouldy, we had no dressing table chair and the bath was clearly not cleaned as it had hair in it. As we were only there for a couple of hours through the night we didn’t have time or energy to do anything about it. The staff and the bed itself, were exceptional. Both times we’ve stayed there’s been a “tree” smell throughout the corridors. The first time our room was too high up so didn’t spread to the room however this time we could still smell it in the room and it’s not a very nice smell. We would still stay again for the convenience but if we are not happy we will be saying something. This time we just didn’t have the chance.

The location was central. The lady on reception, sorry didnt get her name was really friendly and very informative about taxis. Also the night porter was locely and friendly. The room was very spacious.

The hole in bathroom floor was a bit dangerous, there was a screw sticking out and had to cover it with the bath matt to make sure we didn’t stand on it. There was a big stain on the carpet and there were some sort of spillage on the walls. Also mould in the bathroom. Mould remover will do the job!!

The location is ideal for motorway connections. The hotel part of the complex is remote to the bar & restaurant and gives options between busy & quiet. The beds are really comfortable which means a great night sleep.

The decor is a bit shabby and needs a refurbish. The hotel reception should make people aware that the breakfast buffet has 2 different menus dependent on whether you pay for breakfast in advance or pay in the restaurant at breakfast.

Lady on the reception was lovely so helpful booked a taxi for us for the races later on she couldn't do enough not sure what her name was small with dark hair she was lovely. Room was lovely and clean couldnt fault it bathroom a little dated and leaking shower but overall a good stay was just disappointed with the breakfast

The breakfast was a little chaotic tables dirty they got the order wrong and we had about an hour wait food cold !! My husbands order was wrong missing eggs & toast i had eaten mine and he was still waiting for his !! Would go somewhere else for breakfast next time but would stay again

The room was ok and clean, and staff was helpful.

The breakfast, paid £36 for two of us and was worse breakfast I'd seen, 1st day even after getting it changed it was still bad and we couldn't eat it. I was not going to go on 2nd day but give it a go only to get the same treatment and the breakfast staff was rude and unhelpful. Toaster wouldn't work not even a good drink as machine was giving cold water. Worse £36 I'd ever spent. If we ever went back I'd skip the breakfast.

Comfy bed ,pillows good top ups of tea coffee ect nice friendly staff. Reasonable price would stay again if price is right

Rooms looking tired stair carpet is ripped needs replacing, breakfast was OK ran out of cups no yogurts no orange juice dont bother having a continental not much choice ,quality of English breakfast could be better gone downhill since our last visit .

Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Good sized, clean room with a comfy bed. Sustainable - shower gel and handwash in bottles rather than mini toiletries.

We stayed over a hot weekend, so the room got stuffy at night as there's no air-conditioning and our room didn't have a fan. It was hard to get the shower going at a decent temperature without it making noises like a motorbike, but I think that was just our room.

Disabled parking needs to be marked more clearly and signed , 3 spots in the front of the hotel , not one person showing a badge , the rest of the marking is down a very steep hill that my dad had to walk up on his walking sticks as someone else had parked in disabled parking spaces as they are not clearly marked

Very spacious room at good value for money. Beds are very comfortable and there's plenty of space for luggage and hanging up any clothes. Bathroom is decent, good pressure from the shower despite it looking like it may not be up to much! The bar is great. Food comes out very quickly after ordering and is nice (my friend and I both had fish and chips) and there's a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There's a great choice of food for breakfast too. 11am check out is very welcome! At the end of the day, if you're staying in the area then this is a great option. Excellent price and what you get in return is more than worth it.

The bathroom is perhaps a little dated and could do with modernising, but this is clutching at straws really as the current bathroom is more than adequate. After all - why fix what's not broken?
