Very clean great location owner Danielle and staff were excellent and very accommodating. It is the closest thing you can get to sleeping in a museum. The junior suite was exceptional again hostess Daniela was very thoughtful and very accommodating. My husband mentioned that he loved Peroni and I mentioned I enjoyed coffee the second day that we were there she showed up with Peroni gift for my husband and extra coffee for me. What a sweet person. We will definitely make that only place to stay in Florence from now on.

Nothing everything was perfect

Excellent location in the city center with easy access to the Duomo and main attractions. Our host, Daniela, was so kind and welcoming. Every morning she served us a large spread of delicious, authentic Tuscan breakfast in the dining room where classical music is played and you can admire the beauty of this old palace. We stayed in two rooms, each spacious and unique in design. We were upgraded to the suite and could not get over how truly remarkable the frescoes are in person. A must stay in Florence if you are looking for something special or romantic.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. They upgraded us to one of their most beautiful suites “just because”, and it was the most medical place I’ve ever been! Insane attention to detail as well, amazing accents and facilities in the room, complementary items that really enhanced the trip, air conditioning, perfect location. We cannot WAIT to come back. Daniela and Riccardo were the absolute sweetest, and we are still thinking about them!!

Where to start.....everything was absolutely fabulous. A Florentine 'Party House' with many beautiful original rennaisance features. Danielle and her staff are the perfect hosts and we were incredibly well looked after there. Never stayed anywhere with so many 'wow' moments.The 6 course traditional Italian breakfast was amazing, prosecco in the fridge and a spread of biscuits amd sweets in the bedroom and shared areas. Went out their way to store friends luggage although they weren't guests.

We loved everything about it. It’s a Renaissance palace with frescoes from the 1600’s. It’s absolutely gorgeous, beautifully painted high ceilings, large rooms with several common areas with snacks to nibble on, perfectly spotless. Daniela, the owner greets you and treats you like family. Delicious breakfast, great recommendation for dinner. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. It was centrally located but so quiet and we had a beautiful view. I would live there if I could. We hope to return. Highly recommended

Palazzo Tolomei is really impressive (both in architecture and history) We stayed in a suite with beautiful paintings on the ceiling. I liked it a lot! The staff was friendly and supportive, always welcoming us with a smile. Signora Daniela Agnelli (the owner of the place) provided us with interesting (and entertaining) information on different topics (food, Italian eating habits, art, itinerary etc.). She is very attentive to details. The cleaning service was also very good. Staying in the Palazzo was a delight!

Wonderful hosts in a truly authentic Italian Palazzo. So much history right there. You will not be disappointed. Perfect location in the historical centre. Daniella and Dario greeted us like family on arrival giving us a tour of the hotel, telling us about the sights and even booking us a local restaurant. Breakfast was an experience in itself, again the staff are attentive and friendly ensuring you have everything you need. Staying here really made our trip to Florence very special. We would highly recommend Palazzo Tolomei to anyone staying in Florence.

Palazzo Tolomei is a unique and historic building centrally located, still discrete and tranquil. We had an excellent stay in a large, spacious junior suite with beautiful frescos in the walls and ceiling, a very rich, carefully prepared traditional breakfast that changed every day and last but not least a generous, warm and open to communicate owner Siniora Daniela and her young, smiley and hospitable team. It was really a unique and memorable experience and we would definitely return when in Florence.

Although we appreciate the historic nature of the property we think that some of the bathroom features could be more adapt to the practical needs I.e, space layout, space for the toiletries, shower batteries for water mixing, etc.

Exceptional accommodation central to main attractions. Daniella and her team were attentive and welcoming, you felt as though you were staying with friends in an intimate setting. Breakfast was a standout and the local specialities as well as the service and conversation contributing to our knowledge of life in Florence. The Palazzo has a wonderful history and there are many rooms which are designed with books, music and local treats to complement your stay. Generous provisions and welcome gift in room. Ours had a loft bed up a spiral staircase which was perfect for a mother/daughter trip. We left early on our final day and departed with a breakfast box and a personal note. Highly recommend.

This property is exceptional! The history has been maintained with beautiful frescos, and beauty everywhere. What makes this property one that we will recommend again and again is Daniella and her staff. Daniella is a beautiful woman inside and out. This is no job for her but rather a privilege. She is passionate about Florence and she makes suggestions of where to go and what to see. I can’t say enough about Palazzo Tolomei! It’s fabulous!
