We were greeted well in reception. We were shown to the room. The room was very clean with good facilities. Beds were comfortable. Shower had good pressure, plenty of towels etc.

The two, two seater settes were a little uncomfortable for us. We were concerned by the notice in the kitchen saying you could cook, but what they wanted you to cook was quite limited. Especially withe the threat of a 200 dollar fine. It would definitely affect ethnic minorities. Why not provide extractor fans to solve the obvious issues of smell? We were told there would be a double bed in each room, however, one had a double, one had 2 singles.

Nice and clean room with everything we needed, kitchenette, bathroom, two chairs and a small table outside. Parking was right outside the room, quite convenient. Very friendly reception, guest laundry with washer and dryer available. Grocery store right next door, within walking distance. Overall it was a very nice stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

Again, I have to look really hard to come up with something "negative". Maybe that sitting outside wasn't as much fun anymore when the neighbors arrived because their car parking was right in front of our door? I feel it is more important that everyone has free parking close to their room, so I am not really complaining about it. Also, if you want to be near downtown this might not be the place for you as it is a bit outside of the city centre. Nothing really negative for us.

Really spacious with good light. I loved having the bedroom separate from the living dining area. This was important to me because I was working for all three days I stayed and I don't like those motels with small rooms where it feels like you're working in your bedroom.

Wifi was OK but was slow between 4pm and 7pm. I expect that's because it's peak time. But a bit more bandwidth would be really helpful for work.

The rooms were very clean & tidy. We were given the unit which is best suited for someone in a wheelchair. This meant the sink & handbasin were very low. We understand the reason for this but we were not expecting to be in a unit like this. It wasn’t a problem, it was just different. We did however enjoy the spacious shower.

There weren’t any bedside cabinets. We stayed 6 nights & would’ve appreciated having them.

Kevin was very welcoming and was able to drop us to the bus station on one of our days. Our room was exceptionally clean and very comfy, good kitchen, great shower. The bed was firm but comfy, best sleep we've had in NZ. Love the verandah out the front to soak up the arvo sun. Great with supermarket next door.

Not the motel's fault, but there were limited nice places to eat when we wanted to have a meal out.

Have stayed here twice now. The rooms are immaculately clean, modern and spacious, with everything you need. The beds are so comfy! Shower has awesome pressure. The owners are friendly and down to earth. We will always stay here when we visit Greymouth. Next door to a grocery store and just a couple minutes drive to the town centre.

. Well laid out, spacious, quiet room with all that we required at a good price. Central location with good parking and easy access to good eating places and a supermarket. The owners are a great example of West Coast hospitality. Not only were they friendly and knowledgeable about the area, but they went over and above to help us with a situation and we were very grateful. We highly recommend this Scenicland Motel.

Couldn't fault it.

The location of the motel is convenient, there is a restaurant supermarket next to it, the vehicle can be parked directly at the door of the room, the room is clean and hygienic, the kitchen is fully equipped, and I am very satisfied with my two days. The hotel hostess is friendly and very happy to help people, and will come to stay next time I have the opportunity, recommend.

Really friendly and helpful staff and owners Good sized room with kitchen Good laundry facilities on site We stayed 3 nights, arrived by car and left on the train. The owners gave us a lift to the train station. Easy walk to town and nearby restaurants and the beach We'd definitely stay again

Our sofa was a bit old and lumpy! But we still loved the place overall

The location was great for us. A walk to restaurants/bars etc. A short drive to the supermarket. The room had everything we needed and more. It was very clean with lots of space. The books informing us of places to visit etc was brilliant!! Fresh milk bottle when required . Staff were helpful and friendly. Great value .
