The onsen is nice, it's a little small and get a bit crowded but as a free amenity, I won't complain. It's nice that the shower and toilet are separated and the room is spacious for a solo traveller.

The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from Tenmonkan. For me that's okay but it can be a deal breaker if you have accessibility issues. There was also a strange buzzing noise in my room that kept me awake, the nearby tram lines and intersection can also be quite noisy.

Clean modern hotel with modern bathroom and showers. Parking for cars at reasonable rate (1000 yen per night) with free in and out privileges. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the vending machine in the lobby. Location was pretty good, in the middle of the shopping business district and around a 15 minute walk to the train station. Adequate workout facility and coin laundry facility. Very helpful staff. Outstanding unobstructed view of Mount Sakurajima from the 10th floor breakfast room!

room was a little small, like a typical Japanese hotel, but efficient.

The location is half way between Shinkansen station and Sakurajima Ferry terminal so for me ideal to use if you intend to visit Sakurajima. The restaurant in 13th floor is nice, however the morning buffet is just an average. The shower in the bathroom was great - there is a panel with massage nozzles...

There is only one washing machine and one has to wait if someone else is using it. The same is for the dryer. The windows isolates, unfortunately, poorly so the noise from the street gets inside :-(

This is our second time staying here. Everything is wonderful, I love this hotel. There are no downsides for the declared 3 stars. And the breakfast area, located on the top floor with a stunning view of Sakurajima, corresponds to all 5 stars. Good onsen, comfortable beds and excellent service from the hotel team. I am sure that in terms of price/quality ratio this is one of the best options in Kagoshima.

Everything is very good

Not the newest, quite a basic hotel, but in excellent condition, it is obvious that it is taken care of. For three stars it is one of the best options. High standards of service, professional staff, clean and cozy rooms, and also the breakfast area on the top floor with a stunning view of the volcano Sakurajima. The breakfast itself is also great. Definitely one of the best hotels in its class. Recommended.

Everything is fine

The staff were great and helpful. The room was pleasant, clean, comfortable. The shower was great. Location was close to downtown and walking distance from both the train and the ferry port, but there's also a tram station right on the hotel. On site parking was convenient and easy to find

The room felt cramped altough it's not the smallest room we've stayed at. Seems like the use of space wasn't optimal. Also an electrical outlet on both sides of the bed would have been good

Staff very friendly and supportive. Great room size with a view. Modern bathroom. Wonderful soaps and shampoos. Very good bed and pillows. Fantastic shower. Free beverages at entrance. 10 minutes to JR main station by foot, ideal. Quiet.

Nothing, all was to my perfect satisfaction.

Excellent location, very clean, king room was perfect. Breakfast very good and the food was fresh. Plenty of voice for the breakfast. Amenities good.

The smoking room was in the reception area and had no door. As soon as you got out of the lift you could smell smoke. Inappropriate position for smoking.

The hotel is relatively new and close to the tram stop

The Queen room though of reasonable size, there are too much furniture and due to poor layout, there’s barely space to open up 2 medium size luggage.

Comfortable mattress and pillows. 2 different pillows are provided. No neckache after sleeping on the pillow. Air purifier/humidifier provided is very useful on winter. All facilities look new. There is a vending machine for free hot and cold drink that we can get all the time.
