A wonderful little hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were great with good space and very clean. The best thing was the great traditional Turkish breakfast each morning with freshly baked buns and other home made goodies. We would 100% stay there again.

Breakfast is generous and very tasty. Hosts are helpful and so kind. Very good place to visit Istanbul. Near the famous spots by walking (train station is very close) I was afraid of the hot water and the bathroom but shower works very well no problem. We were travelling with our 2 young kids and we have enjoyed our stay, thank to you for everything 🙂 We wish you all the best! Wladislav and Sarah

Just to notice that we can hear a lot of noise from the outside and from the room on top. However, we have still slept through the night, even our kids.

Decent location to access the main attractions. Rooms were clean and tidy. The manager and staff were really friendly, respectful and attentive. They helped and gave us advice where needed. Breakfast was good spread for the adults. More options for kids breakfast would have been nice.

Very Friendly's and accommodating staff. Always there to help you and provide what you need. The breaskfast was good and turkish style. The location is very nice too, walkable. Just so you know they have stairs to rooms, so if you can't do stairs, please tell them. They have some rooms downstairs too. Rooms are specious and very comfy. We had a family suit so it was quite a change, since kids stayed in one room and we did in the other, like an apartment. Just one suggestion, please go out and find your own things, hotel prices tend to be expensive in Euros. Always negotiate in lira and bargain. Don't but stuff around the hotel. Go a bit out and buy. Always make sure to see if they are asking lira or euro. We used uber all the way through, didn't have any problems. Local taxi charges a bit more and can charge you extra for tolls and stuff too. Make sure negotiate, negotiate and negotiate

Bathroom was my only issue. My seat wasn't staying up and had some previous mold stain.

Thanks to Green Suite Hotel, our stay in Istanbul was very pleasant. The location is amazing, as it's close to the Sea of Marmara, so we were able to feast our eyes on the waves of the sea every day. In addition, it was also very close to the most famous attractions of Istanbul. The room was really nice and the bathroom was huge. We felt safe as there was no possibility of strangers entering the hotel. The main doors are locked and only open when the hotel guest rings the bell. Breakfasts was absolutely fantastic. Every day we left the hotel full :D Special place in our hearts or maybe stomachs hold homemade cakes and bakery. Someone there has a real talent! Hotel owners are super helpful and friendly. If you have any problem or question do not hesitate to ask! I have read before that some guests complain about the lack of hot water. Do not worry, the water is very hot. If it isn't, just wait a few minutes. We also had no problems with the proximity of the mosque. Probably we were too tired to even hear the Adhan (call to prayer) during the night and believe us, we love to listen to it. We keep our fingers crossed that we can come back to Istanbul and stay in this beautiful place again!

Location of the hotel is really superb. In less touristy place but still very much in the center of the old part of Istanbul, within convenient walking distance to all the interesting sites. Just ca. 10 minutes from the tram line that would take you to the very center and/or to the train station or the port or even to the other side of Galata bridge. The apartment we had was very comfortable, had everything we needed, all the stuff could not be more friendly and pleasant. However, the absolute highlight of the stay in this hotel are the breakfasts!!! We have travelled around Turkey and stayed in many hotels, but this was the top.

We were pretty much OK with it but just a warning for light sleepers ... the hotel is right next to a mosque, so you may be woken up every morning shortly after 5am. However, you could probably hardly find a hotel in that area of Istanbul where there is no mosque in the vicinity.

Not too clean - you could see quite some dust and hair on the floor. Quite outdated facilities - very old shower. It was strictly forbidden to eat in the rooms, so the kitchen has only 4 cups and nothing else. Also, I would not recommend this place if you don't like loud noise, there was a mosque just over the corner, so it was very loud from time to time

Great and very cozy hotel. The staff is very nice and it's almost a family atmosphere. We felt very safe because the hotel was closed and only guests were allowed in. The room was very clean and comfortable. What we remember most is the wonderful Turkish breakfasts:) Nearby very many local places where you can eat well.

The only downside was the rather small space in the bathroom (it lacked, for example, some kind of cabinet or space for toiletries) and a falling off flap in the toilet, which I also read about earlier in other reviews;) but these are really minor inconveniences. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay:)

+ Very kind people with excellent skills in taking good care of tourists. + Spacious rooms. + Nice little fridge with complimentary water waiting for you at arrival and there's coffee & tea in the kitchen, also on the house. + The breakfast is amazing, around a dozen types of food brought to the table each morning.

- The wooden floors are squeaky and the beds a bit as well. - The room facing the street gets the full noise. - The toilet seat lid didn't stay up, it always came down so it was a bit annoying. - Some of the (old, I guess) electrical wires used for the light switches are still exposed (coming out of the walls).

Excellent facility with perfect customer service. We rented the Quadruple Room with Balcony, which was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 8 and 6). It has 2 king-sized beds. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is decent, and it is extremely spacious. The star of the show, however, is the hotel's amazing staff. Every single person here is extremely nice, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely good-hearted. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The breakfast was a very nice Turkish breakfast, served promptly and with love.

The location is not in the heart of the action, but it is only about a 10-15min walk from Sultanahmet (the Blue Mosque) and Hagia Sophia.
