Absolutely amazing hospitality! Communication was outstanding, including instant messages on our arrival at the airport on how to use the water bus, WhatsApp messages with a video of easy to follow directions to find the property from the water bus stop, and messages ensuring we had found the property (which we did, easily, thanks to the video), dinner recommendations and instructions for how to reach our departure point the next morning. The greeting from the lovely young ladies at reception was very welcoming (including a complimentary drink;) and the room is magnificent! - larger than we expected and beautiful decor. (Probably the best hotel room we have ever enjoyed in Europe.) Very clean, excellent facilities, including a modern, functional and elegant bathroom with a full shower, bar fridge, very comfortable bed and lots of floor space. The windows opened to a more than partial view of a quaint canal and historical buildings and with the windows closed, the room was almost silent. The location is brilliant- we only arrived in mid afternoon and had to leave the next morning, but we saw so much because of the location. A two minute walk through lovely streets and over quaint bridges on the canals to Rialto bridge, five minutes walk to Doge’s Palace, and about two minutes walk from there to an unforgettable evening gondola ride through Old Venice. We both fell in love with Venice on this, our first visit, and cannot exaggerate how wonderful the accommodation was. Yes, there are three flights of stairs to drag bags up. We were offered assistance with this, but were happy to do it ourselves. We were even given a complimentary breakfast of coffee/tea, orange juice and croissants, which was perfect as we had slept in. We would love to stay here again and highly recommended La Veneziana Boutique Rooms.

The room and bathroom were spacious and very nicely decorated/done, exactly like in the pictures. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is central, quiet and convenient for exploring Venice. Check in was smooth and we appreciated that we could leave our suitcases for a few hours on the last day after checkout. The fact that they offered a welcome drink, daily water bottle in the fridge and also a small breakfast were nice touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Communication with the host was very positive too. I definitely recommend the place and would go back.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of Venice. You can walk to anywhere from here in under 30 mins. Lovely big comfortable bed. Incredibly quiet, you don’t even hear other guests coming and going. Very helpful instructions for finding the place. You wouldn’t find it otherwise. The breakfast in bed is lovely. They don’t call it breakfast but it is all we wanted. Coffee, juice & and croissant. You can leave luggage with them during office hours.

Their instructions from Rialto Bridge include an immediate climb up and down the bridge which is easily avoided and well worth avoiding if you have heavy bags. The climb up the stairs to the rooms is quite tough with heavy bags. They had trouble with their hot water when we were there and we were without it on a couple of occasions. Assume this was a one off though unless other reviews mention it.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. The Purple Room was fantastic - it was spacious and beautifully appointed. The interior decoration is sumptuous, extravagant and beautiful quality - the finishing touches and details provided that extra level of comfort - double glazed windows, tea making facilities, heated towel racks. The bed was large and comfortable with good quality linen and pillows. The communication with the property prior to check in and the directions from the train station including a video were incredibly useful. And a tray of warm cornettos and coffee delivered each morning was a lovely start to each day. We loved our stay here!

The rooms are on the third floor and there is no elevator - this was communicated clearly by the property and we understood this when we booked. Apart from having to carry our bags up and down when we arrived and checked out it wasn't too much of an issue. It would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

The owner Alessia and her employees made us feel very welcome to this lovely place. We celebrated a special occasion, and they made our stay as enjoyable as possible. We spent very happy two nights here and have only positive things to say about this place. Our room felt incredibly romantic and beautiful, it was very comfortable and posh at the same time, the location was incredibly convenient for the walks around when Venice both during the day and night. We had several lovely surprises that we found in our room including a the bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our special occasion, and super delicious breakfast next morning consisting of fresh and warm croissants, best cappuccino and refreshing orange juice. The owner was super helpful, and her communication and suggestions were excellent and super prompt. Our experience in Venice was wonderful, and partly due to this incredibly beautiful and welcoming place. I am very happy that I chose them to stay in Venice and would love to return back here someday again! Thanks very much for such a memorable stay!

Property was stunning, the room was absolutely breathtaking and just like the pictures - if not better?! Breakfast was a lovely touch and Alessia was the best hostess, she provided extremely clear instructions of how to get to the property, was on hand for directions, suggestions and recommendations of restaurants and helped us to get back to the airport. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough! Central location and really easy to get everywhere.

The only negative I could think might be the stairs - we didn’t have suitcases so were fine, but there is no lift so be mindful when you pack if you choose this hotel. This is also made clear on the booking website so read carefully! Would hate for them to get bad reviews because of this as the hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing.

Our room was the main yellow one in the picture and it was absolutely stunning - better and bigger in real life. We were sure there was going to be a catch with the ‘balcony and canal view’ for the price but it really was an amazing view over the quiet square with the canal running below. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were so friendly and made an extra effort for us as it was our honeymoon. Breakfast in the room was a real added bonus. The location is perfect too: a really pretty area with great restaurants and a short walk from everything but just enough away from the really overcrowded parts of Venice.

Some of the messages we received from reception were quite late at night but overall the communication from the hotel was excellent, very informative, detailed and polite.

The room was beautifully decorated. Although the furniture wasn’t genuine antique, it didn’t have the fake feel often found in average-priced Venetian hotels. Everything was very clean, and the fresh renovation was evident. The windows closed tightly, and I didn’t smell any canal odor that some users mentioned. On a very hot day, it was a cool oasis. The air conditioning worked perfectly. There were two bottles of water for free in the fridge. In the morning, a beautifully presented breakfast of coffee, juice, and a croissant was served. It was tasty but a bit small, so on the second day, I grabbed some extra food from the nearby COOP supermarket, just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The receptionist was very friendly. Before arrival, the staff contacted me via WhatsApp, found out how I was arriving, and provided detailed instructions, from where to park the car to the ferry schedule and a detailed video on how to get from the pier to the hotel. Late arrival around 10 pm wasn’t any problem.

There’s really nothing to complain about. The only thing was a beautiful, heavy floor lamp without a plug, which I decided to consider a vintage statue.

Can’t rate this highly enough. Location is perfect - it’s in a residential rather than tourist area but central for everything. The room we had faced into a quiet square and we had our own balcony and also a canal view. The room itself had everything you could possibly need (including a small fridge and a good iron/ironing board). The towels and bedding were all good quality too. The staff were very helpful both before and during our stay . Wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else next time we visit Venice.

Nothing to fault - top class

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Upon arrival, we were given two splits of Prosecco and water. Every morning we were served croissants, cappuccino and orange juice in our room by the smiling staff. The rooms were elegantly decorated (we stayed in the green and blue rooms as we added a night after our original booking so had to change rooms after the first night). The location was centrally located within about a 6 minute walk from San Marco Square and 9 minutes to the Rialto Bridge! Any questions I had were quickly answered in detail by the staff!

There are several stair to get to the third floor, but the staff carried our luggage both on arrival and departure. Nothing to do with the rooms, but beware the entice as a whole has a pick-pocketing problem.
