We stayed for 4 nights. They took the amount of the hotel and placed a hold on our credit card. But at the same time another amount was also put on hold. They don't seem to know anything about that. I have followed up but heard nothing from them so I have now gone to my bank to get the money released. The first amount held they have released that (but still waiting for the bank). The hotel itself - our room was on the small size but we didnt spend too much time there anyway. Ensuite was huge as was the shower. There was a little drawer fridge to keep milk. The lift fit my husband, myself, large suitcase and a backpack. Most of the people on the front desk where very helpful with directions and everyone spoke english.

Lack of knowledge regarding the extra payment held on my card, and the lack of response since leaving. Thats the reason for contacting my bank to deal with it.

I loved the cleanliness and how nice the decor was in the room. It looked just like the pictures. They use L'Occitane en Provence products in the bathroom and I loved the scent of the shower gel. The room was a little small so it's a tight fit if you have a lot of luggage but it was fine for us. The hotel is a little bit away from the main attractions but I enjoyed the neighborhood, it felt more like you were in the real Paris and there were two metro stops within walking distance as well as a bus stop that was right in front of the main avenue that connects to the street the hotel is on. Paris' public transportation is really good so we had no trouble getting to any destination. All in all I would stay here again!

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no iron in the room. I packed my clothes in packing cubes so they were pretty wrinkled and having an iron or steamer would've been a big help. If there was supposed to be an iron I couldn't find it.

Comfort, style, service, spotless.

Actually nothing. However: 1. we did not have breakfast inside the hotel (so we can't judge) 2. Facility is nice however to be honest, for 4 stars I might expect something "higher" (but also more expensive) so I'd say, it's a great 3 stars hotel.

Location is good. Close to metro station. Worth for price. Looks like three star hotel but its 4 star.

Uber always got confused for hotel location.

Location was pretty good. 2 metro stations close by and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Area felt really safe. Close to Montmartre and the city centre. Staff were mostly friendly and quite a few spoke great English which was helpful. Very clean hotel. The room was nice and airy too. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Room wasn’t huge but very nicely decorated. We had a courtyard view which was fine. If we a street view I think there would have been more noise on the weekend.

More hangers in the wardrobe. Larger cups in the bedroom and English tea would have been great!

Le Katorze Hôtel was a great place to stay — the room I was given was divine. On the top level, with a lift, I had uninterrupted views of the rooftops synonymous with Paris. The shower was amazing — large space with windows that opened up fully, excellent water quality and space. The bed was comfy, clean and crisp. It was also great to have a tiny fridge, air-conditioning(!), block-out blinds and lockable safe for important belongings (although the staff were so helpful and I trusted them a lot!).

The location was a great reprieve from the tourist spots of Paris, it was quiet, and I felt more like a local within this location however — I normally stay in the 10th/11th district and felt the commute over to my favourite places (natural wine bars, boutique coffee/cafes, boutique shopping etc.) to be quite lengthy.

Great location for the price, easy metro access. Rooms were nice.

Could have been a bit cleaner and the hotel generally was smaller than what the photos conveyed.

Beautifully designed hotel on a quiet street! Room and bathroom were small (as hotels usually are in Paris), but the way it was arranged was functional. Shower was also a good size (tall shower head, partner is 6’4 and he had space), and the L'Occitane soap smelled lovely. Everything was also very clean. There were many good restaurants, bars, cafes within a 5 minute walk of the hotel with a quaint residential feel, not many tourists in the area so it was a nice respite after full days of sight-seeing

Bed is a full sized — this is disclosed in the booking, but may be tight fit for some people. We made it work

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is ideal, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was just a bit too small for my liking, which seems to be a common characteristic of many Parisian hotels. Despite the charming ambiance and elegant décor, the limited space was a notable drawback. I've noticed that the compact size is typical for accommodations in Paris, likely due to the city's historic architecture and high population density. While it adds a certain quaintness and intimacy, it can be less comfortable for those who prefer more spacious settings. Nonetheless, the hotel’s other qualities, such as its excellent location and attentive service, helped to balance out this minor inconvenience

Close to the shops, restaurants, bus stops and metro. Clean hotel and it was very warm in the room which is good as I easily get cold. The nespresso machine in the room was a bonus. There is a kettle but no tea to offer in the room. The reception staff was helpful. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out so we were still able to wander around Paris without them.

The room was small so had to be smart on where you put your luggage. We were only around Paris for two days so I guess it's maybe okay for the stay. I was expecting a little bit bigger room but I think this is standard Paris. There is no breakfast available on Mondays. We didn't know this in advance but we managed to look for a breakfast place that is walking distance to the hotel.
