The hotel is clean and modern inside. Rooms are nicely decorated in a coastal modern style. Walking distance to the harbor. The outside area for parking or pickup/drop off is not convenient or comfortable. However, a patron is not in that area very long. Parking on premise is valet only and the price is not on the booking app. It is a nice boutique hotel about 15 minutes from the convention center by ride share. Spent about $150 more than booking price for a two night stay, with taxes and parking, which is similar anywhere else downtown.

The hotel itself was very new and nice. The staff was great, the breakfast was very good. The valet was friendly and professional.

One of the barn doors on the bathroom was coming off of its track. Also the shade covering the shower glass would not retract. While the property itself was beautiful I got the sense that possibly the maintenance was a little lacking.

As soon as you approach the front door, you are greeted by the valet attendant, who is very friendly and approachable. Sandra at the front desk was so sweet and nice. She upgraded our room for free. We only stayed for a night but it was very comfortable. There's a bar and restaurant in the hotel as well. The younger guy working at the restaurant was so friendly and attentive. I like how you had the option to sit outside on the patio and there was also a gym available for use. We will definitely be staying here again.

Context: Stayed here for 1 night while attending a conference in the city. Hotels in the centre were outrageously expensive; this one was plain ol' horribly expensive so save 100USD by staying here for one night. Positives: Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and well-appointed room. Very modern Good shower.

Negatives: Not clear where to get breakfast. Room windows didn't open. Didn't check to check in until after midnight because international flight didn't land until 2330 but still wasn't offered a late check-out. This felt unfair and my sleep was too short. Note: Mobile data not working by the time I arrived at the airport so had to take a taxi rather than an uber. Guy managing the queue said it should be 15USD to this hotel; taxi driver said it was 23USD and even then complained strongly that the journey was too short. (Uber to the city the next day - which goes past the airport then further - was about half the price.)

The staff were very efficient and helpful and breakfast very nice and lots of choices. I think when you have a voucher with breakfast it should cover whatever the person wants to eat, there should not be a pay limit one the choices. To cover this In another way the Guest could have one /two choices.

There could be a more soft chairs in the bar area so Guests and relax into big chair or sofas like in reception, I was not drawn into the bar area I would have loved some soft furnishing to sit and have a drink in the evening so I sat in reception with my drink.

Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend and our fur baby, was able to leave our dog at the hotel when we couldn’t bring him with no worries at all. They even had a safe secured balcony so we left the door open so our dog can get some air! The staff was amazing and super sweet, Sandra and the valet guy treated us like if we knew them for years! Super amazing people! My stay was amazing.

There was honestly nothing to not like, I have no complain at all.

Staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. We got a balcony room because they knew we had a baby with us and she really really did appreciate having the balcony to look out and hang out.

Everything was great. Maybe the parking being limited to street or valet was something I didn’t like too much but then again I think most San Diego is limited in parking.

Our room was very clean, and it was nice being able to step right outside and go down to the bay to eat our first meal in San Diego by the water. Everybody working in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they recommended some great activities for my brother and I to celebrate his high school graduation!

For the price, I wish there were some option for included breakfast. We ended up crossing the street after trying the hotel breakfast to eat at Winchell's and Better Buzz instead so we could have some less expensive options.

I really liked the valet person and the gentleman who was checking us in. We didn’t get either of their names but had great conversations with them. ☺️

Only thing we didn’t like was that the place locks front door at 10 pm abd we didn’t know how to get in and called and the night audit was not at front desk. The next day we spoke to same guy about our experience and he was very apologetic and said he needed to speak to night staff as someone should be at front desk at all times. He also comped our breakfast as we tried the restaurant on property. We felt the care and concern from the staff it made the experience at this location better for our inconvenience. We will def stay here again for future stays in SD

the hotel is great and very comfortable, the staff is outstanding and very helpful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again on out next visit to San Diego. we will also recommend it to our friends.

the conditioner dispenser nozzle in the shower is too small and will not let the thick conditioner flow. the thermostat is not very responsive as it takes a very long time to get a temperature adjustment. Not big issues.
