Staff was very gracious and happy to help with anything. They really went above and beyond to accomodate any request. The room was amazing, for western standards maybe a bit dated, but for Egyptian standards very nice and had everything we wanted. Great view, lots of balcony space. We had a great view of the Nile and could see the Pyramids on clear days. The breakfast we included was great everyday, plenty for anyone to get what they wanted. We had an early check out and the staff even got us breakfast bags to bring along to the airport. We used the restaurant once for dinner, which was buffet style and also very good. The location of the hotel is great, your right in the middle of Zamalek, a great district in Cairo. Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are very close and many to chose from. Also very easy to get Ubers from this location, I do recommend getting in and out of the Ubers outside the gate, since the security checks every driver and they have a snifferdog walk around the cars. It takes a while for them to get in and out. The hotel has great security in that regard and the entrance is behind a closed gate. Check in and check out went very fast and smooth and even with our very early arrival we were able to get to our room very fast. Bags are brought up to your room and picked up when you leave. The cleaning staff is very professional and thorough and extra's of anything are easily arranged through them or management. Within the hotel no tips are expected as far as I was aware.

The pool is only accesible through the breakfast/dining area and by walking through the lobby. There are places to change at the pool, but you cant really walk from your room to the pool in your swimming attire. Some things can be quite pricey, we asked for transport from the airport but through the hotel it would have cost over 25x the amount compared through the booking.com services, so I wouldn't recommend using the hotels service in that instance.

good location in Zamalek. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really wide choice. You can get freshly made coffee or cappuccino from an italian machine (what makes the difference). really friendly staff. by booking, we didnt see the hint that the pool is under maintenance, which was the reason why we chose this place. we were kind of upset. so they gave us a suite with a fantastic view instead of a room overlooking other buildings - how nice is this! rooms are a bit outdated, but with every comfort. they have a great coffee shop outside on the ground floor. we didnt use the hotel’s asian restaurant. but we can recommend the libanese restaurant al-dayaa 10min by foot

the construction site in front of the hotel (towards the river) - which is not in responsibility of the hotel, but you should know. they are building a new walkway.

Located in good locality. good comfortable mattresses. clean. very good breakfast.

needs renovation/refurbishment/updating. AC very old style, making loads of noise. very expensive. good overall hotel but not really value for money that we paid.

Very spacious and well-appointed room with excellent views over the Nile. Helpful staff. The coffee shop downstairs is excellent, as is the in-house Japanese restaurant. Leafy neighbourhood makes for a nice change in Cairo. Close to shops and restaurants. ATMs nearby.

There's no escaping the party noise at night from the other side of the river, but it wasn't too bad.

The excellent staff knew precisely what to do and were very cooperative in precise Hazam at the reception. The breakfast was OK; the view was amazing and very good services. The relation desk and precisely Dina was more than great; she advised and guided me to know more about Cairo.

The room is small, and I trust the bathroom needs renovation.

The restaurant and its furniture do not match the Hilton name. The smell of food spreads throughout the rooms, knowing that we are on the 11th floor, and the smell is annoying when the windows are opened. We qre not sure from where is the source of the smell. The bed covers were not changed during our 6-day stay, but we believe that if they were informed, they would replace them.

The hotel is placed on Zamalek island, in the more or less descent area of embassies. I recommend to choose a Nile view, as we booked city view we had to change the room for a Nile view and it was like we moved to another hotel. The view is terrific! As we are smokers, we enjoyed our smoking pauses from balcony. The stuff was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem with the shower head in the first room, it was solved rapidly - thanks to Dina for a personal support. The bed is really comfortable, for me that is very important as I have problems with my back. The breakfast has a great variety, from classic choices to Egyptian specialties, you can order any eggs you like, fresh juices, descent coffee. Also worth mentioning the wi-fi worked well.

Full sanitary pack in the bath. We were missing shaving kit and cotton swabs for ears, had to ask for it. Would be great to have a pillow menu, I used to orthopedic pillow, but there was no such option.

The room was very large, with a beautiful view of the Nile. The location, Zamalek is superb! It’s quiet and on the same street as many consulates therefore safe to walk to the restaurants and the riverwalk even at night. The staff, Hashem and Mohamed (I believe El Said, wears glasses) were exceptional in their service and made sure my stay was great. I really appreciate the time they took to answer my questions and recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.

They upgraded us for free, which was great. The room was awesome, with a beautiful view of the Nile. The location was perfect because you are 15 mins from Downtown and 30 mins from the Pyramids, so easy commute to see Cairo and the Pyramids. It takes almost 45 mins from the airport, so if you need to travel during rush hour, maybe the location is not as convenient, but for everything else it was great. The staff was awesome! You can always rely on them if you have any questions or problems (we had our key malfunctioning a few times and they were super happy to help)!

They have a better bar downstairs on the right (The Heaven) compare to the one inside the premise. Recommended to go there for breakfast instead of the one in the hotel.
