Location central, literally few minutes walk from the main mosque and mall. Staff very polite (as is typical in Brunei). Very clean and housekeeping accommodating to bring up facilities as and when needed (including at 3am when my daughter vomited). Large family of 7 we are so extremely pleased to have an interconnected room, which essentially meant like an apartment with two full shower rooms. Comfy beds and pillows.

"Formal" restriction on number of people/kids per room, even if sharing beds (when booking, eg on this website). We got around that by just 'stating' our two rooms with four beds were for four individuals only, per advice from our local contact. Lighting was also poor in rooms - a couple of lampshades and spotlights which collectively didn't do as much as a single regular lightbulb could do. If we're nitpicking: One of the two showers was leaking at the neck, resulting in a lack of power

Reception staff were friendly Decent sized room, working aircon, fridge, wi-fi and desk

Staff not overly helpful with recommending things to do in the area. Possibly just the person we asked but he wasn't even able to tell us whether we could pay with card and recommended we walk the 15mins there to find out. If you're wondering what the answer is, no, they don't take card. Airport transfer was a bit pricey for the short trip (around AUD28 one-way) Not a problem for 1 night but there's not alot of storage for clothes if you were to stay long term So dark in the bathroom + no toothbrush kit which would have been welcome after we unexpectedly checked our bags in all the way to Melbourne at Saigon airport.

Very convenient location and modern feeling hotel. Comfy room and helpful staff. I had to cut my stay short by a day because of a change in my flight schedule, and while they couldn’t give me a refund for the day of my booking I didn’t use, they gave me a free airport transfer as way of an apology, even though my early departure wasn’t their fault at all. A nice touch.

Aren’t many other facilities for a leisure traveller. Also one person at the reception I asked about how to get to the maritime museum and Malay technology museum wrongly told me they were closed, when in fact it’s the Brunei Museum that is closed.

Great business hotel. It has spacious, clean rooms and a great breakfast if you book with that option. There is no pool and not a lot of other amenities, however. If you are the type that is out and about mostly when you are traveling like we are, this is a great option!

The shuttles they claim to have to Gadong was pretty non-existent. Each time we asked about it, the driver was "busy" -- caveat that we are asking for service at the next scheduled shuttle. Maybe you may have more luck if you ask a day in advance.

-The location is super! Only about 5 minutes by foot to the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the complex mall, and the waterfront. -The staff Rophiah, Zaidi, Arif, and the trainee are all very amiable. -The renovation with a boutique style is chic and pleasant.

-No gym. -The breakfast time 7 AM - 10 AM doesn't align with the guide in the room which shows 7 AM to 10:30 AM.

The staff were super helpful and kind. Location was central and close to many sights. Liked the free shuttling to locations in town if the hotel driver was available.

A/C turned off each time we left the room. I get the eco aspect of this, but returning to a stuffy room after out for a day was not ideal.

The location is awesome! Walking distance to most of the city's main attraction. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff was welcoming and extra helpful! They even did an errand to help me while I was outside of town! <3 The breakfast is huge and complete. Definitely worth going there.

The TV in the room is useless (it opens everytime you power on the room, which is annoying). Wifi was out for a day and a half during my stay.

A good hotel at a very central location in BSB, so you can walk to many places of interest nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good.

The lighting in our room was quite low-grade. Basically just two small bedside lights, and one small spotlight near the door. This kept the room relatively dark.

I loved the overall ambience of the hotel. It has a beautiful lobby area and a wonderful restaurant. The location was perfect if you need to go to town early in the morning for Bandarku Ceria events.

I got injured the morning of my stay and I wanted to order room service so I could stay in my room and rest, but it was not available untill 11.00am; so this was a bit of an inconvenience for me. Also, it took a while to get hot water from the shower in my room, and the shower “sings”.

The hotel staff were brilliant! They really couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were comfortable, not terribly spacious but enough for all ones needs. The location was also excellent. Very close to the large Masjid, park, water village, canal, museums, malls and local shops. The local people are friendly and polite.
