This small boutique hotel is awesome. Very quiet and comfortable in beautiful garden full of palmtrees, orchids, with the forest in the other side of bungalows. Manager, Mr. Anh was very helpful and made sure the stay is comfortable. The whole Staff was very friendly. We arrived early morning at 9, and we received the room before check in time for free. It was amazing after long journey. We also received free room upgrade, so we had great view for swimming pool. Room was specious and clean. Every day there was additional cleaning service, clean bathroom and swimming pool towels, two bottle of water, tea and coffee. There is hot water in the shower. Breakfast was tasty with salty and sweet selection (mix of Asian and continental breakfast). Great fruits served as well. We also like the meal served in restaurant. Good food quality in the good price. We decided to rent the motorbike in the hotel and it was in good condition. You can also borrow bicycles for free to get to the beaches.

Villas are tucked away just from the main road so it is peaceful and quiet! Beach is a 5min scooter down the backroads. Pool table and chess available for entertainment. Rooms are spacious and really good air con. Super comfy beds! Pool area is great and never got busy! Lots of loungers and some hammocks. Amazing host at resort and helps with everything! A great stay for friends/couples & families. Recommend getting a scooter at the property. Very easy and good rate!

A couple bugs in the bathroom, but nothing crazy & expected as you’re surrounded by nature! WiFi is a bit start and stop. But again not an issue for me but maybe for some.

Great property a little off the beaten track but walking distance to the local beach to watch sunset and a choice of restaurants. the free bike hire is great to make the journey a little shorter A very quiet and peaceful resort, with great staff. Mr Anh remembers all his guests and is a very good host. The food at the restaurant is good and similar prices to the other restaurants around, so you dont need to venture out if you dont want to.

Nothing not to like, for the price, it was excellent

There were several unique and irreplaceable things about Bambusa Resort.. The serene setting in the midst of a lush tropical forest, the layout of the rooms around the oversized pool, which was also offered the same lush landscaping, and then the extremely helpful and competent Manager, Anh, who seems able to make everything just right for all the guests. Every request was met with a smile, and before you knew it.. problem solved ! We also loved the location in a quieter part of the island, with easy access to restaurants and a small public beach.

The Manager -Mr Anh- and the whole staff have been wonderful : smiling, friendly, helpful for everything and so reactive !!!!! We have chosen to use their driver service at our arrival from Phu Quoc airport, it was very efficient and not expensive compared to the others (300 000 vnd). We spent a perfect stay at the Bambusa Resort (7 nights). With a scooter it is nearby all we needed (beach, ATM, food, exchange, fuel, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and town center) ! They do scooters rental , laundry and exchange currency at the hotel. They change the towels (room + swimming pool) every day and the bed linen when we asked. The hotel is quiet. The swimming pool should be renovated a little but it is a big one with convenient sunbeds and green plants all around… so pleasant ! We have enjoyed a lot the breakfast which where fresh and salted and sugared (homemade marmelades !!!!)… The restaurant was perfect for us (vietnameese and western food), not expensive and so cool at night ! We will book for next year for sure ;-)

Our stay at Phu Quoc Bambusa Resort was delightful overall! The lush greenery and tranquil ambiance of the resort made for a truly relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always willing to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, from fresh tropical fruits to local Vietnamese specialties and Western options. It was a wonderful way to start each day!

However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The water pressure in the bathroom was quite low, which made showering less enjoyable. Additionally, the bathroom could use some thoughtful ergonomics—there weren’t convenient places to keep bath gel or toiletries, which could be improved for better functionality. Despite these issues, the resort’s charm, serene surroundings, and exceptional service more than made up for it. I would still recommend Phu Quoc Bambusa Resort for those seeking a peaceful getaway in Phu Quoc.

Very good breakfast with an open view out into the hills which were covered in rain forest. Excellent service including rental of motorbike, which we took advantage of three days in a row enabling us to cover large parts of the Island. And the pool was simply amazing, sheltered by all sorts of exotic palm trees and so peaceful! The guy running the resorte was working almost around the clock, getting hardly any time for himself. And yet he did an excellent job providing us with top notch service in every single aspect. My wife, who is a bit disabled, even got help with gluing together her crumbling old walking stick, something he did for free. Also I must say that even if the food was top notch there, we also found some really nice restaurants at walking distance but also a bit further away at the beach.

Nothing to complain about

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Manager Anh Tran, who is truly in the right position. His kind and cheerful approach, along with an open heart, is priceless. Every day, he recommended a new beautiful, uncrowded beach in the area or a perfect natural spot. Thanks to him, I discovered several genuine gems. Thank you. In the midst of LIVING nature, with the jungle at your fingertips, this magnificent treasure is unlike any other. During my 10-day stay, I explored almost the entire island and found no place that even partially compares to this. Is it a resort? Not exactly. If you crave a resort, pick any resort bubble and confine yourself there... But you'll lose the authenticity and connection with nature. Want a resort feel? Opt for a poolside room. Craving a connection with nature, the songs of birds, and jungle sounds with the first morning sun? Choose one of the jungle-view cottages. That's the real Vietnam, the true Phu Quoc. In harmony with nature, devoid of concrete, bricks, and pseudo luxury.

All was great

Great size bungalow and amazing pool. All very private and intimate. Even though the place was fully booked it never felt crowded. The guy taking care of breakfast was an absolute gem and catered to every need with a smile. Just a perfect getaway from the buzz of town. We would have loved to stay longer, that says it all.

We did not mind, but be aware that without a scooter restaurants and shops are a bit far out, particularly after dark. But scooters can be rented on site.

I loved everything. I could write a lot about Bambusa Resort, we stayed one full week and it was amazing. We were a large group with kids, but it is also an ideal place for couples. The resort is beautiful, surrounded by the jungle, buildings made in wood. The swimming pool is huge and there is a lot of spots to chill around. The manager M. Anh is incredibly helpful and attentive, he helped us a lot, dropping us everyday to the closest beaches. Cherry on the cake, the food is delicious! We tryed several restaurants in the area but always ended up to dine at Bambusa at it is very good and great value for money. Their cook is nice and very gifted! The room (bungalow pool view) is beautiful, clean, wide, with a balcony facing the jungle and another facing the pool. + : it is nice to stay in this area of Phu Quoc island as it is way less build than the southern part of the city.
