The breakfast is superb and so are the pool area as well as the tropical garden. We were given a room with a beautiful sea view and enjoyed our balcony a lot.

The resort is great, although we lacked some entertainment in the evening. Unfortunately the beaches on the island are very dirty and full of garbage. The beach in front of the hotel was not much better, although this depends on the day and the weather -- we were told that it is "normal" to find garbage on the beach after heavy rain (!). We did not swim in the sea for fear of getting sick with e.coli. The resort is amazing. Even though it is close to the airport, we didn't experience any issue with noise. When we arrived at the airport, someone was waiting for us and got us to the hotel in about 10 minutes. The rooms are spacious and modern. We had a room with a sea view which was great. There is a nice pool but even better beach and the water in the ocean is very warm. We could also use a canoe for free. There are three different restaurants in the resort itself, all rated very well. We only tried one but the other ones looked great as well. The breakfast offered plenty of different choices, there was live piano player and sparkling wine. The staff of the hotel are very friendly, provide excellent service and don't bother the guests at all. This is definitely a gem on the island, totally recommend it.

There is literally nothing we did not like.

Great location for phu quoc - plenty of places to eat just outside the hotel, supermarkets etc Short taxi ride to the night market . We booked sea view with balcony- worth the extra if you can. Such a joy to wake up and sit out with that view Hotel and staff are fantastic. We loathe huge resorts with a corporate feel this hotel is large enough yet with a boutique bespoke feeling. Piano at breakfast excellent touch. Beach clean and well maintained Pool area plenty of beds Gym decent 10/10!

We loved our stay here right from the airport pick up to the return shuttle back to the airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is plentiful in its variety and dishes are refilled. Unlimited sparkling wine at breakfast that was liberally topped up frequently. Specious pool that’s the right height for swimming or just standing in with a cocktail which the pool bar has many good ones. This is an excellent spot for sunset. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, both were impeccably decorated and what you’d expect staying in more well known 5 star hotels.

“Happy hour” spa prices were still extortionately priced. There is a fun, high quality hidden bar across the street but not much else in the neighborhood.

We stayed at three resorts during our trip to Phu Quoc and the Salinda was the one that felt most like a standard hotel although the room was very comfortable and the garden areas created a pleasant atmosphere, particularly in the evening. The location is not too bad but not really within walking distance of the town’s main shops and restaurants. The beach is a bit narrow but enjoys good shade. it’s good value and the staff are great. It just lacked that unique aspect that made the other hotels we stayed at stand out.

I definitely recommend this hotel. Very warm attitude from the hotel staff, every day some attention in the room in the form of (massage oils, teas, sweets, etc.) The hotel has a beautiful garden and pool. We really appreciated the fitness and morning yoga. Great food - the morning breakfast was truly divine. We also visited all the hotel restaurants (Italian, Indian and beach restaurant) and I can really say that the food was great, they also make a vegetarian version of the dish. I really liked the homemade granola for breakfast - the head chef Lily gave me the recipe for its preparation - a big thank you to him!

Unfortunately, the hotel beach was small and the hotel grounds in general were smaller than I'm used to.

I think the best on the island Here are the things we liked the most and would like to highlight: • A beautiful, well-maintained area with a stunning garden and plenty of charming spots to explore • The refreshing aroma of lemongrass essential oil greets you in every place, instantly relaxing you and setting the mood for a restful stay • Impeccable room cleaning with a delightful evening touch of tea, candied ginger, and other treats • A library with a wide selection of books in different languages, ranging from English to Hebrew (we kindly request the addition of books in Ukrainian 🙏🏻) • Extremely friendly and attentive staff (special thanks to the beach/pool team who, from almost the first day, remembered the guests and their preferences. By the time we arrived at the beach, they had already prepared loungers with towels – such a thoughtful gesture) • An amazing breakfast that has been praised multiple times before • There’s plenty of space for everyone: whether on the beach or by the pool, finding a spot is never a problem

We didn’t find any flaws in this place. The only minor remark could be the rather European pricing for additional services, but it is entirely justified by the quality and level of service

We stayed in a twin room with sea view, I liked the room, nice interior design, comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean room, nice touches and details. Very nice breakfast, and, yes, sparkling wine is a nice detail :) Room service is twice a day, as it should be in 5* with cute additions such as “good sleep tea”. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Beautiful and well kept inner garden, with lots of plants, water areas, gazebos, ambient music and aromas. Also there are activities every day, several restaurants, spa and gym. All good quality, clean and modern. Enjoyed our 6 night stay and missed Salinda when we left.

I’d say AC without remote can be not 100% handy. Sometimes pool area can be a bit crowded, as it’s quite a large hotel. And, unfortunately, there is some plastic garbage in the sea, it’s not the hotel fault, it’s all over the island

Beautifully designed property that’s smells amazing. A lot of greenery around the property. Hospitality of the staff was top notch. Close to the airport and to the main town( markets and restaurants). Sparkling wine with breakfast adds to the breakfast experience. Live music band and recreation area is also available. Evening treats by house keeping are another great touch of hospitality.

Out of the 5 days that we were there the beach was not clean for 4 days. A lot of plastics and sea weed. Since the beach is less than 100 mts they should maintain it better. Prices of Food and beverage were at par with Dubai or sometimes even more which is a bit too much for Vietnam. They should do all inclusive deals with stay which would be best suited for this property.

It was really hard to choose a hotel between quite a few great options. But I never regretted for a second going for Salinda. Do you know the cold and snobby flair of classic 5* hotels with many rules? Here they managed to keep fantastic service while making it feel extremely cozy and heartfelt. When I asked about anything the answer was always “Yes, no problem”. The room was spacious & we had a fantastic sunset view. Btw the hotel photos don’t do it justice, it looks and feels definitely more gorgeous & luxurious live. Very convenient to stay with a toddler, the playground with nanny is located close to everything. We felt relaxed enough to leave our son there for a short while to have a few peaceful minutes. Great kitchen in all the restaurants on the premises. Live music every night & also during breakfasts (talk about toddler paradise :D). Highly professional masseuses, got one of the best massages ever, well worth the price. Also when you start paying attention to details, you notice how very well thought is absolutely everything, loved that. Fantastically beautiful gardens, territory is not too big, but has lots of little corners and places to enjoy, just perfect. Thank you to all the amazing team, you made it truly unforgettable!
