The prices for the rooms have gone up dramatically. It was $99 start for a budget room and then upwards about 2 years ago,now it is $170 for a budget room and then upwards . I'm not going to be able to stay here again when a 4-star hotel up the road is for less and one in John for less as well.

The customer service here is so welcoming - the property had everything I needed for a short stay (attending my son’s march out from Lone Pine Barracks). The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and he even found my coat for me that I’d accidentally dropped the day before when checking in…! 😂 All in all a lovely stay, great value for money, would highly recommend.

It's spacious and clean. we have a lounge room, and two spacious bedrooms, one with a queen and one with 3 single beds. The kids were happy as they can sleep in the same room and they said the bed was very comfy. We also found it was very comfortable, with a medium hard and good quality mattress. It's located next to the Singleton shopping village, and 25min drive from Hunter Valley Garden. It's not a bother for me as the price is very competitive and the two-bedroom motel is a rare find, and one night's good sleep is worth it all. They also had a kitchen and my friend cooked us toast when we got up. That's lovely:) They also had a swimming pool, but we didn't have time to dip in. All in all, it went beyond our expectations for a motel.

Friendly staff, and a great restaurant situated as part of the Motor Inn. A very pleasant surprise for me was the proximity of the property to a flying-fox camp just over the road and near the service station. It was wonderful to see and hear these beautiful creatures so close by!

I found everything very clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about!

Th room itself was good! The bed was comfortable! The bathroom floor could have been vacuumed and cleaned. There was a used band aid on the floor and dust on the skirting boards around the floor and behind the toilet, otherwise it was good. The location was great!

Simple tidy room with basic expected amenities, incl fridge, kettle, toaster, mugs, wine glasses, tea spoon, cookies. Had a fold out from wall table which was great to do some work or eat on. Late check in time allowable. Decent check out time 10am.

The KETTLE is cheap and needed to be scrubbed properly inside as there was organgy grime build up. Ewwe. Also it would have been nice to have a couple water glasses (not just wine glasses in the fridge), couple tea towels for wiping up, a couple small plates and basic cutlery (knife, fork, tablespoon), otherwise where am I going to put place the toast or food that I'm eating and what am I to use to eat with? Also the heater didn't work properly. But there were extra blankets. And I'm not sure if it was possible to fully close the windows as they were either stuck and need some TLC or had a permant space/crack open in how they're designed.

Pair of drunks in next room, sat outside our room till after 10pm, he went to bed, she fell off chair large crash waking us before midnight then she banged on their door wanting to be let in for next hour yelling Darren let me in

All rooms, amenities,Reception and Restaurant where excellent. Would highly recommend.

All was good not one thing I didn't like.

The room was very comfortable for a quick overnight stay, it was clean and tidy and located in the centre of town. The bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom had some tiles ready to fall off. But I understand after covid19, the budget may not be there to fix everything.

Good value. Room was better than expected, a good size. Spotlessly clean. Staff friendly. Bed was comfortable. Close to food options. Good for an overnight stay.

Only one light working over the bed, other one appears to be broken.
