Lovely gardens around apartment; comfortable beds; choice of eateries on site; two verandahs; private garage; well appointed bedrooms with two bathrooms - one for each bedroom. Very roomy apartment. Very good value. Staff were attentive. Surrounding neighbours were quiet. Was too cold for us to enjoy the two pools but they looked nice and clean. Nice to see all the golfers having a good time (though we weren’t golfers). Lovely big baths in both bathrooms. Outlook from rooms was pretty.

The double bed was separated into twin singles but no one had vacuumed between the beds; there were some sticky slops down the front of the kitchen cupboard; shower in main bedroom had a bit of a smell and water from shower didn’t flow away quickly enough.

Great location close to a venue that we were attending a concert (Bimbadgen). Very spacious 3 bedroom villa, each room with its own ensuite- large lounge and dining area and a lovely back deck area and BBQ overlooking the golf course. Aircon is effective for cooling the entire villa. Kitchen had all the required dishes and utensils for cooking in the kitchen or the BBQ. Check in and out was a breeze and service was lovely. If coming for a concert, there is a bus company doing trips (not affiliated with resort). Make sure you bring cash if you haven’t pre-booked. There’s an atm at the bar / restaurant Nineteen.

The TV was a little temperamental to figure out how streaming worked but we got it working eventually.

For three couples, the lovely new townhouse with Kingbeds & Ensuites to each was fantastic- the kangaroos across the back yard was an added bonus! The Townhouses are enough from other guests not to disturb each other, and a short walk to dinner and drinks!

I enquired on arrival about booking for the restaurant- the staff member assumed I meant the bistro that is part of the same business & advised no need to book. I actually meant Chateau Elan on the same property (no way for a guest to conclude they weren't the same business) and there was certainly a need to book- I realised his mistake later that night & tried to book at Chateau Elan via email & then by phoning- noone from that restaurant ever replied to me.

Well furnished apartment with all amenities. The resort had everything you needed, including a fabulous on-site restaurant and bar (the Boscaiola was delicious). The facilities were great, that included a convenience store for basics and drinks if needed - and the surrounds throughout the resort were beautifully maintained. Fabulous weekend away with family friends, that was most enjoyable. Thank you Grand Mecure The Vintage Team.

Nothing to add - we really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return

The Proximity to the pool/restaurant was great, ease of access to apartment and use of lock up garage was also really nice. Apartment was roomy and kids loved it. Trip with the family so not much golfing but it would have been a golfers dream stay. Short distance drive to Hunter Valley Gardens, the zoo and restaurants and boutique shops. Nothing was ever really too much of a hassle to get around to. We will definitely come back again.

Mostly child related feedback. Staying with a family of young kids and being on the top floor, it really needs an optional gate to close at the top of the stairs when trying to keep little ones in. Also the table next to the void is really a bit dangerous, some kids could easily climb onto that and try to get over it potentially. I found the block out drop curtains to be a bit annoying aswell but not a big deal. Also some stains on the blinds, and the fridge wasn't very cold. Overall a great stay though.

The perfect location for a group of friends to stay. There was six of us. It was close to the event we were attending, but also had bar and restaurant onsite. 3 bedrooms with 3 ensuites and a full kitchen. Check in was seamless. The whole home was clean and there was nothing to fault.

small complaint - there was not enough tea / coffee provided for 6 people. With the home not being serviced daily, there should be enough supplies to get us through the stay.

Kitchenware and utensils were adequate and clean. Bed was comfy. The unit was spacious. The whole complex is beautiful.

Outside parking lot was too squeezy, it seems impossible to park 3 cars at one time, nobody can't open the car's doors when that happened. So everytime we have to use sheltered parking lot just to be gracious with the other guests. Balcony was spacious, but at night if we insist on finishing our dinner at the balcony, we'll be swarmed by the insects. The next morning we saw so many hundreds of dead insects on the balcony floor. Very tough to climb up the staircase with big and heavy luggages as our unit is the second floor.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was amazing. Lovely and light and roomy, facilities were amazing. We ended up cooking for all 4 nights and managed with kitchen no worries It was so calming and had 2 outdoor roomy balconies The stay here totally made our holiday.

We didn’t try the Nineteen restaurant which was so close as we read reviews that they used a buzzer system and didn’t have local wines so we didn’t try it. First Creek vineyard told us they deliver there so maybe we should have given it a go

Loved the cleanliness of the property and the use of king size beds in each of the three bedrooms and each had its own ensuite. The location was just an 8 minute drive to Peterson House and Harringtons Hotel. The Nineteen Restaurant was handy with a good selection of food and drink. The westerly aspect at the back made for pleasant outdoor breakfast and lunches. Nice to see the kangaroos out the back at dusk. High ceiling in living area great for photographs.

The numbering system of the houses made it difficult to find.

Overall the apartment was clean and roomy, beds comfortable & location is excellent. Love the lockup garage, which was perfect for storing what we bought with out dragging it up & then back down stairs.

A couple of things needed repairs. Both lights on the outside verandah didn’t work, which spoilt our evenings and the dishwasher utensil tray was broken which made it hard to pack. The entry door down stairs doesn’t lock open, which makes it hard to unpack and repack, a simple hook latch on the floor or wall would fix this. All little things but annoying.
