I was traveling by public bus supratours which arrived very early in the morning around 6am (still very dark outside )before i arrived the bus station the driver from Merzouga luxury camp had already been there waiting for me and calling my name.it’s so cold in the morning they gave me a room in the riad for resting and shower . My desert trip started after breakfast, first i had a camel trip to the camp (a little bit tired but did enjoy the desert 100%)and the camelman hassan he he tried his best to take a lot of photos for me (for a solo traveller I really appreciated ) The camp was well maintained and the tent has basic facilities ,thinking about the location it was in the desert which was beyond my expectations . I had a tour with quadbike during sunset with other travellers from france and china which was the highlight for my desert trip.after dinner there was a music show the berber men played the local music and shared their culture and stories with us really an amazing night under the stars. The second day the booked a minibus for me to back to Marrakech with a good price and the time was much better than the public bus.i really enjoyed the desert trip with Merzouga luxury camp and recommended to all ,especially solo travellers, the people here are really so friendly and nice.

The location was right in front of the dunes and we did have a great time in Merzouga luxury camp .there are many camps in this area but what really made our stay so great was the staff, especially Mohamed, salam and hamid .Mohamed and his team were really kind and helpful.they arranged all the activities for us with a reasonable price and we had great experiences with camel trekking during sunset, quadbike through the desert and sand boarding.after dinner there was a bon fire with music and drums ,we chatted with each other, they shared their stories with us,what a memorable night in sahara.thank you,for all the efforts you made. Just need to know that you were in the desert,it’s not easy for everything, but they tried their best to make it an unforgettable and amazing experience

Honestly, we loved every single thing, from the moment the gate was opened to welcome us to the check-in point, till the moment we bid our farewell 2 days later. The complete staff, their interactions, manner, food, residence, the jeep tour, overall quality of everything, was exceptional. We will always cherish and miss the two nights we spent there and thank you all for providing us with an environment of luxury, care, and hospitality.

Everything was perfect.

First thing you have to consider: you are in a tent in the middle of the desert. And precisely because you are in a tent in the middle of the desert you need to understand the efforts these people is doing to give you all the services that you will have. From this prospective everything we found in this camp is even more valuable. The location is simply amazing. The tents are really big and there is a lot of space. The food is good and the portions are so big. The wifi sometimes didn’t worked really well, but honestly if you go in the middle of the desert to look at internet, the problem is with you, not with the camp :) We experienced the quad (that we highly recommend) and the camels during the sunset. In the morning we take a little walk on our own in the dunes to see the sunrise. We saw the Milky Way during the night. Everything was just perfect. The guys were all so welcoming and nice to us.

Everyone at Merzouga luxury camp is Excellent and helpful, especially Mohamed and Ibrahim .We stayed in the desert for three nights and really liked everything there,Our 3years’son and little ibrahim(som of the owner Mohamed ) became friends, and everyone took care of my son, gave him yogurt and cakes 🍰 during our stay ,and prepare him hot milk as well,we really appreciated All the activities and price were the same like what we agreed on booking.com messages ,everything was clearly explained to us again once we arrived . The food was so delicious and excellent which was included in the price on booking! We had Lunch in some small forest in the desert with barbecue, which was really delicious .The dinner chicken tagine was delicious too. Our Jeep tour with kassim was so remarkable! He did his best to make our trip memorable and happy and took us to the great location for sunset.we also did quad tour with guide which was fantastic(during our quad tour our son played with little Ibrahim and mother of Ibrahim took care of them both, really thanks so much ) Thanks to everyone who made our first desert experience unforgettable ,will come back again and again 👌

We stayed three nights, there was a very strong sandstorm, which made us a little disappointed, but luckily we stayed three days and enjoyed everything with nice weather

We wanted a camp with good service, nice facilities and close to the dunes. It wasn’t easy to read through reviews and search for pictures on Booking.com. There are a lot of fake reviews, AI generated reviews, fake pictures out there. Merzouga Luxury Camp EXCEEDED expectations. Mohammed was great, communication prior to our arrival was excellent. We didn’t have any hidden charges. Prices were the same as in other camps. Our family arrived late afternoon. We had booked a camel ride to the camp. Mohammed advised us to take the 4x4 instead because camel ride would be tiring after a long trip. Initially, we were upset because we really wanted to take the camel ride, but we took his advice and it was a great experience. Mohammed, the driver, took us up to the dunes, undisturbed by people and crowds, and allowed us enough time to frolic in the sand and enjoy the splendid sunset. The camp is in front of a very large dune which allows the guest to have easy access to the dunes. There are two hidden oases just over the dune. The camp is just big enough so you can meet people and have fun; and just small enough to be cozy and intimate. The tents were large and clean with separate bathrooms and a separate shower area with a nice sink and mirror in between. There is hot water!!! You just have to be patient. The tent had a sitting area and plenty of storage and space. And plenty of warm blankets. Food and entertainment were great. We couldn’t have wished for more plentiful food and all the staff members gave it all every evening when we all sat around the fire. We absolutely loved the Berber music, the drums and the singing. The STAFF is this camp’s biggest asset. During our stay, Ibrahim was the person on duty and boy, did he take care of our comfort. He was super attentive, funny, present, energetic. As were all the other members of the staff. Their energy and enthusiasm were amazing.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this camp. I realize that many people stay in the desert camps for a night only. If you are passing Merzouga and you stay only for a night, you will miss the amazing dune climbing, quad riding, oasis exploring, the quiet of the desert, the stargazing. This is not a place to stay only one night. You need at least two nights to truly enjoy and appreciate this camp and the beautiful surroundings. Two pieces of advice - stay at least for two nights; be patient and the hot water will come. :)

Stunning night in the desert, the location is obviously great as it’s in the middle of the sahara. The tent was spacious, the bathroom was clean. Good entertainment, the campfire was really nice. You can do sandboard for free in the dunes, and chiose in a variety of extra activities, all of them worth the price. Dinner was really good, they provided a lot of good food freshly prepared, and bottled water as well. Breakfast was also really good, a lot of variety of fresh food. Staff was very friendly, it was very good to be there. 10/10, i would go back

Be aware of hidden fees: the address on booking is actually just the meeting point, and from there you will need to choose how to get to the desert (camel/jeep), and this has a price that is basically double the one of the accommodation. Honestly, the price is worth the experience so I was happy to pay, but probably it’s better to clearly specify it before the booking and not after.

We didn't expect to have hot water for a shower in the desert. With extra blankets the winter nights in the desert were not as cold.

I wish credit cards could be used for the payment.
