Comfortable bed, great view over the beach, lots of room and storage. Nice welcome pack of fruit, cava and water. The hotel is in a great location immediately across from the beach. Generally, staff were welcoming and accommodating.

I would have liked the option of a walk-in shower instead of just a deep bath tub with shower attachment (although there are now a few new rooms and suites which have recently been updated with walk-in showers which I wasn't aware of when I booked). The toilet is in a separate room not next to the bathroom. I would have preferred a proper coffee machine with capsules instead of the kettle and instant coffee in the room. I didn't like that you couldn't refill your water bottle from the machine in the restaurant. There's no on-site parking, but free street parking next to the hotel and small car park - which is great when off-peak, but very busy at peak times and there's a short walk with your luggage into the property.

Check-in was efficient from friendly hotel clerk who gave us some history about the hotel. We were told that all the actors, such as Clint Eastwood, Omar Sharif, Lee Van Cleeve, Terrence Hill, Bud Spencer, etc., used to stay at this hotel for their film shoots. The hotel is older, but kept in good shape and it is very clean. The hallway floors were sparkling. The room and bathroom were spacious and also very clean. We had two queen beds that were very comfortable. Our balcony had two chairs and a table. We had a great view of the Mediterranean sea with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The pool and pool area were also kept immaculate and included water slides for the little ones and also for adults. There was also daily room cleaning, but you could opt out if you didn't want it. The beach and the Malecon is right outside of the hotel with a nice beach. Parking is outside in front of the hotel and it is free. When we checked out we were given a large bottle of water for our trip. A very pleasant stay and experience. I highly recommend the hotel and would stay here again. Great value for the money.

There was an aviary with birds in it. The aviary was spacious, but I don't like to see any animals locked up. If it was up to me I would set them free.

Big, comfortable beds and room. Good location. Clean. Free car parking. Nice pool area. Good breakfast selection.

Hot breakfast items were always luke warm. Tired saggy pool sunbeds. Some parts of the hotel old fashioned.

I had the Junior Suite and it was really nice and they let me take my bicycle in the room which is something I value a lot. The people at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful. The elevator was big enough to fit my bicycle.

While the room had a giant bathtub there wasn't a way to just take a simple quick shower. There wasn't a holder for the shower head. This is a family hotel and the whole place is full of children. Great for family vacation but if you want to just chill it might not be ideal.

Loved the location and view from the bedroom and balcony. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room and hotel were spotless. Loved the parrots. Food that we has was very good.. Pools were lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Beachfront. Great position. Loads of bars/eateries within easy walking distance. Hotel bar very comfortable and offers good snack menu. Spotlessly clean throughout. Staff all very smart and helpful. Beds & pillows are amazingly comfortable. Free wifi. Free parking.

Some staff were negative , encouraged to pay for meals at high prices , so declined. Restaurant moving furniture early and late , in superior room this was not expected.

The staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food choices. Large beds. Western themed hotel, couldn’t fault it.

A hotel shuttle would have being a lovely addition. The single rooms could use a refurbishment though. I upgraded my room to get a better experience

Lovely hotel,great helpful staff,loved the location, Aguadulce is a lovely town with a beautiful marina,lovely for a relaxing holiday. Hotel was spotlessly clean and good beach across the road.
