Hotel is an older, traditional style building but of a high standard typical of Germany. Very nice spacious room with all the usual amenities. Roland on reception was very helpful and recommended a local restaurant which turned out to be excellent. We went there both nights. Location is on the edge of the centre so easy to reach by car and the hotel has free parking. A short walk away is a tram stop for a free trip into the centre. It is also conveniently located close to the train station if you arrive by train. Excellent buffet breakfast with decaf coffee available which is not usual in Germany yet.

I primarily picked this hotel because it offered parking. I was a little concerned because the hotel didn't promise parking but said first come first serve. We didn't have a problem and they parked an amazing amount of cars on their property. The staff didn't speak much English but them made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is located on a major street but the room was nice a quiet.

The room was very quiet, but we had two single beds, but that was ok for 1 night. Very close to the tram stop, and was only 10-15 min walk to the town centre. Local Edeka supermarket is 5 mins walk.

Having read the reviews mentioning how good the breakfast was, I was a little disappointed. For a married couple who booked a double, we were given a twin.

The breakfast was good and fresh. The room and bathroom was clean and nice. Great location. Free car parking. Quiet hotel. Good room cleaning.

The lobby, reception, and bar closed at 20:00. At breakfast, we were not allowed to talk on the phone and were asked to go outside if we needed to.

Large room and comfortable beds. Clean bathroom with all the necessary amenities. The buffet breakfast was excellent, very well organised and tasty. The owners were extremely kind, always available and helpful, very responsive to any request. The position is quite convenient for going downtown or just travelling outside the city. The hotel has a free private parking for costumers.

Excellent hotel. Near to tram station. Room was avery good size. Layout of room was superb with its ownhallway. Good breakfast. Parking on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and waited for us to arrive as were were delayed at dinner. Parked in a private garage.

Breakfast was nice, but felt it was a bit heavy on the breads. The room was a bit warm as there was no air conditioning and we couldn't keep the window open because it was on a busy road.

I can’t recall a more friendly welcome to a hotel! We we greeted by a happy host who was excellent to deal with. The hotel is very nice and great value for money. We liked the breakfast as it had all the things we don’t really have back home in NZ and so I do recommend this place.

Nothing, it was just right for the $$$spent

Compact, no frills hotel, but still very nicely laid out and tastefully decorated. Scrupulously clean! Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful - very nice atmosphere, everything worked perfectly. Everything you need is there (including shoe-brushing machine), including a cute little bar. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Nearby choice of restaurants for supper (I chose the very nice Italian restarant - la Commedia). Would happily go back to this hotel anytime.

Very clean, recently upgraded bathroom. Bedroom huge and traditional. Beds very comfy. Breakfast..a good choice of fresh cheese, meats and smoked salmon. Everything nicely presented and refilled as needed.

Some more toiletries as tiny sachets of shower gel not quite adequate. Tea or coffee in our room would have been an added luxury as we arrived late and there was nothing to drink in the hotel. Quite a walk to the old town. These are minor things as we would definitely recommend this hotel.
