The staff is very polite and friendly. Room was big, clean and had a truly beautiful view. Loved the spaceous bathroom and the comfy bed. Food was fine, there are definitely some options for everyone (including vegetarian-friendly options although you have to do some guessing as there are no ingredient markers). Gym was nice, indoor heated pool was well appreciated in November. Overall, I would recommend.

We felt like somebody tried to sell things to us every day. They allow street vendors to come to you when you are resting at the private beach and the hotel staff is also approaching you with some tour/spa sales offers once you come out of the elevator or have a walk, we were even approached with some entertainment sales during eating dinner. A bit annoying. Cold jacuzzi by the heated indoor pool (pool was warm though).

Shout out to Hafedh at reception. Went out of his way to accommodate us. Absolutely fantastic person, always smiling, calls you by name. Will go back just for his service alone. Resort is very good. Overall excellent stay

Buffet could use more variety, switch it up and change the menu a little. Everyday was the exact same menu. More chairs on the beach

The property was very clean and the staff were generally very good. Abdelaziz, the waiter we went back to every night, was really nice and made us feel very welcome. The food selection was good specifically the Tunisian cuisine. The homemade desert options were great, they should try extend the homemade range as the stuff they don’t make themselves just aren’t as good. They offer a very broad selection of food and dinner and lunch have different options everyday. Breakfast had a generous selection as well with omelettes and eggs made to order. My only complaint is, no bacon. The fresh flat bread made to order was my favourite especially the cheese filled one. Loved the daily morning yoga classes but the music down at the bottom pool could be very loud at times. The beach is great and it’s kept very clean in the hotels section. We stayed in one of the bungalows and they were nice size. The rooms were alway kept spotless by the housekeepers. The spa is very good and very reasonably priced. The draft beer is good and the cocktails were decent too. The house wine was surprisingly good too. This is advice more than really part of the review. Tip first. When you sit down to dinner on you first night tip your waiter when you sit down. You’ll get great service. Same for lunch. We tipped 10 dinar a day as a couple. And if you want table service at the pool do the same, worth every cent.

Some of the buildings were getting a little scruffy and could do with a lick of paint. The air conditioning in our room was under powered. Not a big issue for us as it wasn’t too hot during our stay in October but it would be a big issue during the summer months. For some strange reason all the toilet paper was removed from our room one day. It might just be a coincidence but we hadn’t left out a tip in a couple of days. I had to go raid a housekeeping cart.

It was a very nice hotel, me and my wife had a great time there. Pools are nice as well as the bars and pool bars. The room we had was very nice for the price we paid. The staff was top, really nice and helpful and that includes everyone from the room cleaning to the reception.

The hotel is old, and you can really see that, it needs renovation for it to be rated a 9 or a 10 out of 10. The smell when we came into the room was not nice without air conditioning, probably something wrong with the plumbing. Furthermore, the all inclusive package was nice however the food and the drinks did not meet the 5 star expectations as the food was not very tasty and the drinks were of poor quality.

The check in process and helpfulness of all the staff was excellent. Although the Dining team cater for 750-850 guests each day the service from the staff and quality of food offered was very good. The all round cleanliness of the hotel, from bedroom to communal areas, and from the swimming pool to beach areas was constantly monitored and maintained. Excellent from all of the teams.

The age old towels on sun lounger problems persisted. We all know that people wish to grab a sun lounger for the day, which generally isn't a problem if they become 'occupied' relatively soon. My only issue is that more should be done to restrict guests from reserving a number of sun loungers at 7:30am, of before!, with their towels/personal belongings, but NOT occupying them until mid afternoon.

Loved this hotel, we couldn’t choose better! The staff was super helpful and polite. Food and drinks were very tasty and there was a wide choice of pastries, fruit, juices, smoothies etc. Tunisian food was delicious. Nice swimming pool, perfect location, very good wi-fi everywhere, super comfy beds, great SPA (we tried foot massage, full body massage and hammam and can really recommend all!). The whole resort was very clean and you could see the staff and managers were paying attention to offer the best service. We had a great time and can highly recommend this place for everyone!

I don’t eat breakfast however the food during other two mealtimes were always lovely, plenty of choice. Separate a la carte restaurants to book for a change up. Alcohol was good at the all inclusive, not shy with measures or the amount you order. Staff are very attentive and friendly, they will help you with anything you need and always wear a smile. Gorgeous clean resort - I’ve been to Tunisia plenty and this is definitely my favourite hotel to date.

Highly recommend Steigenberger for its excellent facilities, friendly ambience and superb food selection. Best selection I've ever seen for an all inclusive holiday. The staff had entertainment shows every night which were family friendly and kept our young toddlers fully entertained. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pools were clean and easily accessible as well as the beach. Fantastic hotel and would go again!

We were on the 3rd floor and there wasn't any air con in May when we went.

The hotel compound is directly by the sea, in good (not excellent) shape of maintenance, good (not excellent) level of service, good (not excellent) selection of food at the restaurant. The beach is very well maintained, but lacks a jellyfish net, which is the main downside of the hotel. To sum up, Steigenberger is Steigenberger - it is a very good four star hotel (in Northern European understanding), but I would not call it a five star hotel. At the SPA you need to make a booking and to pay a fee even for using a sauna. As I purchased treatment packages, they offered to use a hammam and a pool for free any time. However, this arrangement apparently means a higher level of privacy. If you want a good strong massage - ask to be massaged by Wualid.

No jellyfish net at the beach - I was bitten by jellyfish for three days. It is less unpleasant than a mosquito bit, but still you cannot have a relaxed swim, if you can be beaten every second. Electricity in my room went off three times during an eight days stay - once I woke up at night as the conditioned switched off and it was too hot. One day the room was not serviced. Two evenings there was an entertainment attempt, but it was boring.

The attention to details, tasteful decoration, world class restaurant with some international dishes and amazing local food, staff ultra assertive kind and professional, such a great stay, if you're reading this review don't think twice, one of the best hotels in Tunisia. Special thanks to Ali at the reception such an accommodating, professional and nice person.
