A great size room for the price with private bathroom, wifi and TV easy to use and a great value breakfast service the following morning. Saw staff both on arrival and departure and liked the keycard on doors as it meant feeling safer in the room .

Minor dislike was due to being at the rear of the hotel, the clanging of bottles being put into the recycle bin at 1am after the function that night but unavoidable I suppose.

I stopped here overnight as was visiting Spurn point for the weekend, it is easy to find off A63 in Hull, located on main road - instructions for self-service were superbly detailed. Room was basic but very clean and perfect for my needs - kettle/te/coffee, tv, wc/shower etc. Perfect for my needs.

Not a criticism but parking was fairly limited but again text with instructions made it clear where to park.

The staff were busy when I got there but when I got to speak to them, they were friendly, welcoming and thorough. The next morning, the staff were friendly and warm before I had to head out of the hotel. I would recommend a stay here, for the price, it is a snip.

Just be aware that they host functions in the pub below during weekends.

Location is easy accessed from Hulls amenities and docks. Staff were friendly and welcoming and also supportive when I was there as I wasn't sure on check in procedure, so I had assistance from them, which made my stay even more positive and welcoming . Room was OK.

Beds mattress was really worn and springy

Easy access and easy instructions to enter after hours. Friendly and helpful staff every day. Food was freshly and nicely cooked and just the right portion size. Good choice of menu. TV entertainment had plenty of channels to pick.

Only one towel per guest, would have liked two.

This embassy provided a very welcoming temporary space/accommodation for my brother who is grad student at the University of Hull. The staff are very warm and caring. The breakfast is very decent. Feels like home away from home.

Very good value for money Breakfast lovely - extra, but rooms very inexpensive so would expect to pay (although pay for tea/coffee as an extra - would have hoped to be able to have a large pot included in the price) Staff friendly Location (good for where we wanted to be (went to see a band at the pub a couple of mins walk away)

They have a lovely cafe/restaurant but close a 2.30 so unable to get anything to eat that evening No other eateries close by unless you wanted take-away food Location wouldn't be any good unless you were working locally or going to the local pub all night The hotel has a bar - but didn't appear open.

Great size rooms, well located for my needs, easy access with clear instructions. The staff are always great with my special requests. This is my go to place when staying in Hull.

I stayed here for convenience as a family member was having a party in one of the function rooms at the hotel. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. What stood out for me and made my stay so memorable was how friendly and helpful the staff are at this hotel. Special mention to Dawn who genuinely could not do any more to make our stay at this hotel more pleasant. She even took the the time during breakfast to ask how the family party the previous evening went. I was so impressed by such a personalised level of service and I was not expecting this from the embassy. The breakfasts are very nice , having a good selection of vegetarian options too. However, the breakfast was not included as part of our room price.

The hot water tap in the bathroom in our room gets extremely hot very quickly and I think some sort of notice/warning would be appropriate to make guests aware. During my stay some of the slats come loose from the bedframe but they did go back in okay. There was only one lamp and one bedside table in the room- fine if it is just a single traveller but for us a couple this was a hindrance. Also, not being able to control heating in the room, heating is either on or off and requests made via staff. However, staff are very helpful and accommodating with these requests. If little issues like these are resolved this hotel would be much improved.
