- The location is perfect. Not only is it within walking distance to all the big sites, the neighborhood itself is wonderful. I didn't think we could find a quiet hotel in a city as busy as Rome, but this was so incredibly quiet. There are no cars allowed on this street, it's not right on any major tourist spots, and the walls are thick enough to muffle what little crowd noise there is. - The check-in process was really easy, for the most part. Concy sent us the codes to get in, so we could arrive anytime. - The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable (although a little too firm for my husband), the bathroom was great, and everything was very clean. - The owner Concy was so sweet and helpful! She always had a smile and a kind word for us.

- While it was great to get the codes to check in anytime, we didn't realize that we'd need to finish the check-in process with Concy the next morning between 9-1 until she let us know a couple days prior. We had a tour booked the next morning, so Concy graciously let us do this at 8 instead. I don't remember seeing it on the hotel listing (although I may have missed it), but it's good to know for those who like booking early morning tours.

The Lea had everything you could possibly want in a hotel: beautiful, bright spacious room; A/C, in-room safe, breakfast, excellent location in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. The bathroom was very modern and had all the necessary amenities. It was also spotless as was the room. The room was very tastefully decorated. Concy, the manager as well as the cleaner, was always pleasant and smiling and very obliging and helpful. The owner, Leo, personally carried all our baggage from the taxi to our room. Our entire experience here was wonderful. We highly recommend it.

No complaints at all. Everyone and everything were perfect.

If you want to be in the Jewish ghetto, be near the Great Synagogue and near the wonderful kosher restaurants, then this place is an ideal choice.

Because no taxis are allowed in the ghetto, it’s difficult when you arrive to go from the taxi stop to get your luggage to the front door of the apartment building and then you also have many steps to get to the elevator which has to take you to the third floor. If you’re under 60 years old, it’s probably easy to manage. But I wouldn’t recommend it for older people

The fresh rolls each morning from the kosher bakery down the street were great. Concy also offered to make us omelets each morning at breakfast. The room was nice. The shower was great. The mini fridge was very helpful. Everything we needed for shabbat (candles, manual keys and Shabbat belt) was provided to us. The location was perfect - just steps from the Great Synagogue and several excellent kosher restaurants, kosher bakeries, a kosher gelateria and a small kosher grocery store. The luggage storage was also great.

The safe in our room did not work. The room was a bit dark even with all of the lights on. The room was a bit small.

The apartment was smack in middle of everything we wanted to see, and more. And the historical surroundings and streets were magical. Consí was extra nice and good to be around with, and made good breakfast. And gave us good info.

The last night i was really sick, and the boy who was supposed to make breakfast the last morning, came very late, and we wanted a little later checkout, non possible.🙄 Otherwise it was just fine.

Concy was exceptional. She bought whatever we requested for breakfast that was not already available. Any room needs were immediately addressed. She even prepared a breakfast "to-go" because we departed on her day off, at 6:00AM. The hotel owner was also so pleasant and we enjoyed our conversations. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.

The building owner could replace the old elevator with a modern one.

For the kosher sabbath observant traveler it could not be beat. The location is sandwiched by via portico d'ottavia with its host of kosher eateries including those that serve guests on the sabbath for payment in advance. A pizza and ice cream shop. A stone's throw is the great synagogue. Conchy (Concepziona) who runs the place is a gem. The description of breakfast is too modest. It was a full breakfast. I would also like to note two more things that I liked. The room had an abundance of electrical outlets. As someone who is used to to pulling out the chord from the table lamp at some locations, this was a pleasant surprise. There were no shortage of hangers. Perhaps because of the clientele that it services at Lea's they obviously do not suspect their guests of walking off with hangers.

I do have two criticisms. There should be a twin bed option. Second the garbage pail in the room is miniscule. We did not eat in the room but tourists do generate an amount of refuse. This too should be addressed.

The staff is absolutely perfect. The care, amazing communication and help at every moment we needed it, the service at Lea Luxury Rooms is such a blessing. The room was spotless and comfortable.

I would have loved breakfast. I read reviews that they enjoyed the breakfast and that is the only reason we selected this location. We were not aware that it was not included for this particular week.

Breakfast was ok. Not served early enough considering that we had tours booked, so felt rushed. Dining area not large enough for our group of 6 and the other guests. The air conditioning was not working for 2 of 3 day stay. Concy was wonderful and helpful!

Need to advise guests about stairs to tiny elevator. Was a bit of a challenge to get all luggage up to third floor.

Brilliant location. Walking distance from all the hot spots. Very nice and very clean room. Host very helpful and very accommodating. Beautiful building. Everything was well organised. We also booked transfer from and to the airport and it work perfectly for us. It was a very good service.
