Dinner was great - the restaurant had gluten free bread to sub out for my burger which was unexpected and delightful (gluten allergy) since GF bread wasn't listed on the menu (probably change that). Location could not be beat for the airport!

I honestly didn't realize the hotel was outside the airport (stupid American), so I stood around for a bit trying to figure out what "Terminal 1 and 2" meant. The shower was great, but the water did manage to escape the shower area a bit, just needs a better seal. Two pillows per bed would be amazing!

The location is great - very close to Terminal 1, the airport S-Bahn/rail station and the airport bus stop. The staff were very helpful and friendly both at check-in and check-out. The restaurant remained open until 11.00 pm, which was really useful as I was arriving off an evening flight. The room was comfortable, meeting all my needs. Payment for the room was on arrival, with payment for food and drink on the spot, which made check-out really simple.

As I had not been through Berlin-Brandenburg airport before, I struggled a bit to find the hotel; although Google Maps shows it as right by the terminal, it is not actually visible from outside Terminal 1 (it is behind the Steigenberger Hotel). Once you know where it is, it is quick and easy to get to, but a sentence or two of directions would have been helpful.

This hotel was perfect for our last night in Berlin. It's right across from the airport, so our early flight was easy to catch. The room was large, very clean, and quiet. Check in and check out are a breeze, so there's no holdup. Will definitely stay again on a last night in Berlin.

We decided last minute to head back into central Berlin. It is a 40+ minute train ride, so keep that in mind. This would not be a good hotel to stay in for your whole Berlin trip because of how far away it is from the city center.

Check-in and check-out took just 3 minutes each. Everything was quick and efficient. Only 200 meters from Terminal 1, with Terminal 2 a bit further away.

There was a coffee machine in the room, but only 3 capsules provided, despite the fact that there were 2 guests. The design choice of having a window instead of a wall in the shower area felt odd. The glass isn’t frosted and can only be covered by curtains from the outside. The room's windows faced the restaurant's courtyard seating area. It’s unfortunate, as we were hoping for a view of the airplanes. There were no slippers in the room, which was inconvenient, as after a long trip, you want to take off your shoes and relax without waiting for housekeeping to bring the essentials.

It's handy when one has an early flight. The room has a teapot and a small fridge, and in some rooms, a coffee machine. You have to pay attention while booking when you want one. The bed is not bad. The bathroom is clean and well-equipped.

The check-in team is really slow and messy, and some of the staff is, to say it softly—not polite—and has features of burning out. They are obviously overloaded. However, the hotel's location makes them monopolists. We were there three times. All three times, the staff was nervous and even rude. We have never had this in other hotels.

Excellent breakfast, ideal location if you're using Berlin Brandenburg and need to get a rest before travelling on, or to work with late / early flights. Nice people, everything very clean, no negatives. You couldn't call it 'romantic', because of the location and preponderance of business use, but that's not their fault! Really first-class transport access, genuinely very short walk from terminal, and the railway stations / S-Bahn are practically underneath the hotel. Will stay again.

Nothing to dislike - I wouldn't have minded another pillow left available in the room, but in fairness I didn't ask for one, I'm sure they would have provided it if I'd had time to raise it.

Breakfast was really good, but could be pricy for a family of 4. Proximity to airport and IC/RB trains was incredibly easy and convenient (directly beneath airport plaza). Decently priced (we paid 110 euro per room per night for 3 nights). When I stayed without my family the first night, I opted for the 11 euro breakfast included. When my family joined, we could have opted for the 30 euro/nt included breakfast, but our flight on day 2 was before service. As long as the price stays reasonable, this will remain our go-to hotel when traveling in-out of Berlin.

My one gripe: We had to get 2 rooms for family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under 13) as there are no family rooms available. The good thing was the rooms were beside each other and the hotel was able to unlock the door in between and essentially create a 2-room suite. We could have stayed at a hotel with queen and bunks 10-15 minutes away via train for 1/2 the price, but since we had a super early flight we decided on the convenience of the 2 minute walk to terminal and Deutsch Bahn platforms.

Great location and good value. Stayed several times. Unfortunately never get to make full use of the hotel as often arrive late, or leave early.

Check-in! It's always so slow. The staff always seem to make it look very complicated, and often involves multiple staff looking into one booking, or having to ask their colleagues questions. Always creates a queue, and there is not really space for this by the door. The self check-in machines have only worked for me once out of 5 or 6 stays. Obviously this isn't a serious enough issue to stop be staying there, but it's very annoying and quite strange why it should be so slow.

Really perfect hotel great night's sleep

Reception advised I go to hospital or call an ambulance for severe toothache. Because there's absolutely no way yo get paracetamol or ibuprofen at night in Berlin!! Very surprising. I don't know how this would be the case, that you might need to attend an emergency department because simple over the counter pain medications don't exists. Very strange. They kept repeating "we don't keep painkillers here, we're just a hotel". Well of course, noone would expect them to carry painkillers. So I don't know why they kept telling us that. I would however hope for advice on details of a late night pharmacy from a hotel in this exceptional circumstance.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. The room was fabulous and very comfortable, a good temperature, totally sound proof. and very close to the terminals, only a minutes walk.

The breakfast was really not as good as we were expecting. There was no fresh milk for the tea and coffee and we thought the choice of food wasn't great for a hotel catering for international visitors. The tea and coffee in the room was a little sparse too.
