What an amazing find! The location of this place was stunning, overlooking the fjord with mountains in front and behind. Although the property looks a bit grubby on the outside, inside it is very well presented. The beds were warm and comfortable. The kitchen area was small but well equipped with tea, coffee pods and sugar provided. There was a large cupboard for storing our own food. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and plenty of towels were provided. After our first night we were provided with more fresh towels and our kitchen bin was emptied. Just a few minutes walk away is a small supermarket. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Nothing! It was a lovely property.

We loved it. The host, Ingrid, welcomed us with such warmth that we have not experienced anywhere else. Anything we needed, anything we asked got resolved and answered. The outside looks a bit rough, but don't let it fool you. The host has just gotten the building and is doing a lot of work, she started from the insides and it shows! The beds and pillows are comfortable, not too hard and surely not too soft. The bathroom is very functional and has a good amount of space. The studio apartment worked well for the four of us, just have to figure out your own dance steps around the kitchen. You get to park your car right in front of the door. Also, we were stuck in Seyðisfjörður for four days due to snow storms and the road being closed. Ingrid looked after us and made sure we got to the grocery store (with her car!). We all felt safe in a new situation.
The kitchen could have a couple different size bowls for cooking and salads etc.

Good price for the quality. Everything was clean and nice, comfortable beds. There was a toaster, kettle, microwave oven, espresso machine etc. Everything you need. The room was spacious even for three people.
When we had already settled in, a lady (the owner or worker) knocked on the door and accused us of moving into a wrong room, asking how we got in and demanding to see our confirmation. We were in the room stated in our booking and she just said it must've been a mistake in the system. Luckily we got to stay in the room and she left. It wouldn't have been such a bad conversation and meeting, had she been polite and nice about it, but the way she immidiately thought we did something wrong and asking how the hell we got in (with the right room and code combination obviously)... that was a big stain in an otherwise great stay.

Lovely location. Spacious apartment with 1 double and 2 single beds. Lots of hiking trails and some good restaurants nearby.
Shower took a while to drain.

We were 4 people and chose this place for the good reviews and the reasonable price. We only stayed one night, and I would say that for such a short stay, this place is perfect. Easy self-checkin, comfortable beds, good bathroom, Skyr in the fridge, which was awesome, and location very close to the Filling Station, which has great breakfast. No need to spend more money on something more fancy if you're on a budget and are only passing through Seydisfjordur.
All fine except we noticed the apartments on the top floor had their outer window panels shattered. Doesn't make you feel very safe when walking underneath since you might expect pieces of glass to fall down

Location was great . Near supermarket, lake and the famous church Parking available right outside the door Kitchen was very well equipped and came in very handy after a long driving day Bathroom is big and clean
The bed mattress was very soft which gave me a back pain There was a constant hum throughout the night which was really annoying . Still cannot figure out what it was

Nice little studio. Excellent location, free parking in front of the house. We stayed there for 1 night in August 2024. The bathroom had lots of space and the small kitchen is useful. The beds were comfortable.
The kitchen is quite basic. Not a lot of essentials are provided (for example olive oil was missing). The room is quite small for 3 people. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Warm and cosy. Very comfortable linen. Nice location by quaint village. Communication from the host was great. Kitchenette had 2 hot plates and most things to cook a simple meal. Large shower.
The double bed was quite narrow, my husband and I are average-sized and it felt cramped. The kitchenette is small - not much bench space but you can make it work. The low (head) height of the rangehood made cooking dinner a bit cumbersome.

Nice hot shower, clean rooms, has all the essentials that you need, great place to explore the surroundings. The beds were super cozy, slept like a baby every time 🫶🏼
Place is a bit tight with 4 people plus luggage, but with a bit of organisation it is not a big deal. The fan in the bathroom could be a bit better as there are no windows in the bathroom to make up for it
