Rooms & beds really really good. Service was good. Everything was clean. Thank you. Ideal location in Camden.

Bar in the evening. We asked for two beers, the person said the bar was closed, so no tap-beer, but we could have beers in bottles. That was ok, but we had to pay by card at the reception. Two minutes later, three other persons arrive at the bar, order tap beer and pay by cash.... That was silly from the bartender! To add to that the beers in bottles were quite warm. Bad experience at that hotel bar.

Location is what makes this hotel special. It is in the heart of Camden Town - it is worth it (although pricey) to ask for a room with the Camden Lock view. It wasn't even very loud on the Friday and Saturday nights we stayed there although we were expecting to hear the sounds from the clubs and bars nearby. The room was clean, the hotel has had a good breakfast, and it is only a short walk from Camden Town Underground. We enjoyed being able to walk straight out to the food and other stalls of Camden Town Market.

We had to ask for a fridge, which was promptly supplied, but the fridge was essentially a freezer and froze all the food we put in there. No other complaints.

Amazing service! As we celebrated our Anniversary, the staff set up the all room and the breakfast table to make us a surprise. Room very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast indeed, with a worth-the-stay bacon. Location was top, right on Camden Lock. Best staff member Prarna, who was so attentive, polite and sweet!

Just three down-points. Booking a Penthouse Suite, we were expecting to have a sofa area, to be at the last floor and to have at least a minibar available. But altogether was amazing anyway. They gave us the Executive Room so I assume it was a mistake. They called us at 11:20am to ask us if we were ready to leave as the check out was at 11:00am. We found that not too nice. Also they should make sure to have enough lifts, because we waited up to 9 minutes for one!

The location was fantastic for Camden Market, and other local activities! Exactly what I wanted, on the door step location. The staff were very helpful with making sure my stay was to a high standard, especially with a birthday celebration they did go above to make it a worthwhile stay. A view with a room overlooking the lock definitely made it a beautiful room! Couldn't fault the cleanliness as it was spotless, with a fresh smell all around the hotel. I did not purchase any food or drink therefore cannot comment, as there is a handy Weathersooons around the corner😉

Couldn't fault anything if I'm honest, perhaps more complimentary teabags for the room as only had 2 but of course you can acquire more.

This was my second visit to the Holiday Inn Camden Lock and I was very pleased to be given a room upgrade. The view was amazing over the Lock, the room was spacious and I enjoyed the complimentary extras which came with the room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My only very minor complaint was that the staff in the breakfast room were a little over enthusiastic at clearing my table. I lost my drink while at the counter trying to make some toast. As a recently bereaved traveller, these things can be frustrating. My partner and I would always go to the buffet one at a time.

Location was perfect. Directly on Camden lock. Me and my friend went to a concert in Dingwalls and the location couldn’t have been better. The rooms were really spacious and the beds comfy. Me and my friend both celebrated our 40th birthday whilst staying here and they upgraded our room to a lock view and placed balloons in the room and wrote happy birthday on the mirror which was a really nice touch. The staff where really nice too. The car parking we found whilst staying here as it doesn’t offer parking is through just park which was just over the road from the hotel.

The location couldn't have been better. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean, with a decent coffee/tea station, and two very comfortable large double beds. The booking process was seamless - it was a last minute booking that really saved the day. The £18pp breakfast seems like good value these days too.

The goings-on in the room next-door woke us up - maybe the sound-proofing could be better? Probably not all on the hotel, though, I think that particular guest was just unusually noisy.

Fantastic location as hotel overlooks Camden Lock, and perfect for us as we were attending a gig at The Underworld. Check in was quick and easy, the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable which ensured a good night's sleep, and there was no street noise despite the hotel being very close to the centre of Camden's nightlife. The breakfast was very good with a large buffet including full English and continental options, and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive.

Only one thing really. Warm water came out of the cold tap in the bathroom which was a bit odd, so no drinkable water in room unfortunately.

We enjoyed that everybody was so helpfull and polite, and in a good way, not in a exhausting way, if you get me right. They were to loved, because of they were acting normal. Very good comfortable beds, and the room was clean and nice. We use to get our bodies not in shape after a night in hotellbed, but this did NOT happend at out stay in Holiday Inn Camden <3 Our special favorite was the woman who worked at the breakfastarea. She was taking good care of us, in a normal and human way <3 We really liked her! Also the one guy who always remembred when one of us, the mother, needes glutenfree bread for breakfast. Also offcourse the people in the lobby! As a previous waitress for many years, I really really really DO found of when people are themselves and are polite, but also friendly authentic <3 So, yes, we are coming back, we just don`t know when yet : )

Everyting was exellent, though the coffee in Norway, we are used to stronger coffee, the double americano tasted like boiled coffee with not enough beans to it. But it can be that english cofeestandard is more like tea, than we are used to in Norway. We fixed it with choosing a large americano at the machin and adding double shot in it. So if it is our norwegian taste or if the machin is making too weak coffee, ew don`t know : )

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the Camden life, my double room was big enough to also fit a desk, coffee table and armchair. The staff was very proactive and helpful both at the reception and breakfast and with a very nice attitude, makes one feel welcome. And the best thing about Holiday Inn is the comfortable bed, better than at home.

Minor things, but for the price, a complementary bottle of water would have been nice, there is no mini-fridge and the shower although detachable, was secured with a metal ring which hardly allowed for the cord to move. As said, minor things.
