The fastest WIFI I ever had in an Hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet location, friendly staff. You need a motorbike to move around as it's located a bit uphill, but you will have absolutely quiet nights and not so many mosquitos (none in the room). I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hidden haven, gorgeous boutique hotel which is family run, the family suite was very very spacious with 2 really good sized separate bedrooms which both had French doors on to the large terrace with a beautiful infinity pool on your doorstep! The restaurant which is open daily and evenings serves a wide varied menu, again we could not fault the food and service which was fantastic, we would highly recommend heading there for a spot of dining. Phillippe and all the staff made our stay such an enjoyable experience, if/when we go back to Koh Samui will definitely be heading back!!

Nothing it was perfect

Beautiful place! Clean, lovely staff - we enjoyed so much we booked an additional 3 nights but moved to different rooms each time, all pristine condition. Fabulous views enough deck chairs for guests. Transport to and fro the airport/ferry can be organised. Good location but can be out of the way if walking, also dogs at the bottom of the hill can be very intimidating late at night and when dark! We hired scooters around the corner to get around - it seems most people do. Very family friendly too. I accidentally dropped the room key in my bag and had the politest message from Philippe to post back at the airport - sorry about that! Also big thanks to Joe for sorting rooms and the lovely ladies each day xx

Nothing to do with you but those dogs down the road are awful!

A beautiful little boutique resort up on the hill, outside of the busy area. The pools were clean, enough chairs for everyone. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony view, which was much nicer than the dark bungalows. It is not often that hotel rooms are nicer than bungalows, but here that is the case. The 3 dogs are sweet!

Breakfast was too greasy and repetitive for our liking, we ended up instead going to an amazing little brunch place about a 10 minute walk away. Difficult sometimes to get a taxi back in the evenings, though the red tuk tuk trucks do go up the dark road and take you home.

The host and owner, Philippe, take the concept of the customer is always right to there next level. Great value for money and short walk to a great beach.

My friend and I loved this unqiue boutique hotel on the hillside above popular beaches. Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!

Hotel was awesome. 2 pools, good breakfast, amazing dinners. Room was clean and had all we needed, we also used laundry. We only bought breakfasts but ate best pad Thai and curry ever, so we ate dinners there every day, also desserts were delicious. First time ever I found hotel kitchen so good. Staff kind, friendly, helpful and professional, props for all good advice and organizing zipline and Muay Thai :) Owner is a top guy, looking after everything, top to bottom. Definitely recommend and would come back.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place is removed from the busy streets of Chaweng beach so was really nice and quiet. The balconies and daybeds were great and had a view of the 2 pools. The pools are amazing. The breakfasts were really enjoyable with options for eggs, omelettes, pancakes and fried rice with eggs. Philipe, Joe and the staff were amazing and really accommodating and also really helpful with our itinerary as well as costs of transport to various places. The 3 dogs were a constant source of laughter every morning.

The place is perfect for someone with a scooter or a car. If you don't have your own transport, you have to accept that you'd need to pay a bit to get around. However, the Songtaews and rideshare apps are close at hand and not too expensive, even for a family of 4.

Staff is very friendly and kind. Owners are great and very helpfull. We forgot one bag at check-out and the owner drove to the airport (20 minutes one way) to bring it to us! We had a great time here with our son of almost 2. We stayed a week and enjoyed the 2 swimming pools a lot. Restaurant was open whole day and there were some good other options close by, within 1km. Massage salons down the road. Spacious rooms with Comfy beds and pillows, good curtains.

It’s not in the center of town, that makes it a very peacefull spot, but also a little harder to get around. However, you can rent a scooter next door for 250 baht. We used 1 scooter with the 3 of us. The traffic is safe as long as you take care.

Lovely hotel, super helpful staff and the owner drove us to the pier for the ferry.

A little way out of Chaweng centre (400 bart each way).
