Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. The reception is not open until late, but they provided detailed instructions for self check in, let us store our luggage and even put flowers in a vase :) The design of the rooms and common areas is unique and stylish, it was a pleasure to stay there! Although the building is old, the rooms are sufficiently and modernly equipped. We had a room with a nice bath tub, spacious shower, bath robes, vanity table with great lightening for doing make up. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located in a beautiful area. The building is historical and gorgeous outside and inside. There was a cafe inside the hotel with great coffee and a self-service drinks bar.

The breakfast was available only from 8:30 (also on weekdays), which was too late for us, so we couldn’t enjoy it.

Great style, ambiance, comfort and location. The staff were accommodating. We liked the ability to use the kitchen areas to make our own food, particularly breakfasts when we needed to get away early. That said, the breakfasts provided in the courtyard were delicious.

Brody Sandor Utca is a narrow street. Whilst I knew the hotel had no parking facilities, I had not been advised that there was also no space to even pull over the hire car and unload our luggage. No body from the hotel was able to come out and assist unloading 5 peoples luggage, so immediately I had cars behind on their horns in a street and City in which I had never driven. Could the hotel not come to some arrangement to have some of the street bollards nearby removed to allow for, at least, temporary loading?

Brody House is simply soooo cool. It has Soho Farmhouse vibes but at far more affordable prices. We booked a studio which came with 2 bathrooms. What a bonus! The rooms are designed using reclaimed furniture and fittings whilst respecting the building heritage. The kitchen was well equipped and we also had a balcony looking at the inner courtyard. There is no furniture on the balcony though. All the rooms are filled with fabulous artwork and everything we needed for our stay. Brody House takes hotels to the next level. It was hard to leave and we will book again!

Such a beautiful and spacious room. We were amazed by the bath tub in the bedroom that gave us some amazing spa moments. The bathroom was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in a hotel. Everything was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

The bar in the hotel is based on the trust principle - you take something and then write it down. We got a not so friendly message reminding us to pay for the items we took, although we didn't take anything. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they were very friendly about it. But my advice would be: If the system doesn't work, then maybe it's time to change it ;)

I loved being at Brody House. The room was fabulous and extremely spacious. I had a wonderful time staying here. The location is excellent, and you can walk to all the places. There are lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the building itself - it isn't like a hotel - you feel like you're part of a story. The whole property is incredible. I will recommend this to others.

I loved everything about this place! The only point to note for those who are slightly older or have challenges climbing stairs is that my room was on the 2nd floor, and you have to climb several stairs to get there - this wasn't a problem for me - but for slightly older people - it might be a challenge.

OK, I did not expect this level of style ! The room was beautifully decorated, massively influenced by the history of the hotel - artists' residence. Each room is themed on each artist with works of art throughout and making up the overall decor. Our room was large, high ceilings, quiet, and had every facility I needed ... or could even imagine ever needing! The 2 ladies on reception were very helpful and friendly. Additionally, I am happy the room had no TV. It was a welcome change and a TV would not fit in place in this artistic environment. For a longer stay, the dishwasher, washing machine, oven etc, would be great, however our 3-day was too short for these. There is nothing at all to fault - it is not a modern, sterile, hotel, ... this place is beautiful, charismatic, and very stylish.

The room (pg) was wonderful! It was big and perfect for relaxing in the bath, after a long hike in the cold. The relaxing area was also very nice. The downpoint was that there were random private party’s that were very loud till early in the morning. They don’t tell you that on their site, but (sometimes) trough an e-mail with an apology. The hostess Marie and Anna made our days with their kindness and service.

There were 2 spontaneous party’s that were very loud.

Bródy house is a beautiful place to be. Beautiful art and decor and the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Anna and Mary. We absolutely loved it there and it made the weekend trip to Budapest all the more special to stay at Bródy House. I shall be taking some style ideas for my own home with the decor! Loved that we had use of a kitchen area also and honesty bar and help yourself to free tea and coffee. The bed was super comfortable and it all felt very relaxed and home from home in a very stylish way. Excellent location could get to the Danube and walking tour meeting points and pls the sights in a short walk. Would love to stay here again.

There was nothing we didn’t like. However the bath mats were extremely slippy on the polished floors so had to take care. Perhaps a rubber backed mat would be safer.

Location was great. Close to the bus stop for the airport and close to the Metro. Lots of restaurants in close proximity. Quiet and peaceful area. Beautiful interior of the hotel. Umbrellas available to borrow (it was very rainy during our stay). Friendly staff and easy check in. Great little communal kitchen.

Could have been nice to have the bar area open until early evening for a drink before going out. But overall everything was good.

This is the coolest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a studio on the second floor and it was fantastic. Great artwork and quirky bits and pieces. We had a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. It read so quiet as we looked onto the courtyard and only 10 mins walk to the river. The staff were lovely and the cafe and bar also very cool. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

I guess if you are elderly the stairs could be an issue with bags but not for us
