Location is quiet but walking distance to everything, rooftop rotating restaurant was great, many options in included breakfast buffet, lobby area and many amenities were 5 star and fancy. Decor and ambiance of entrance areas and staff is 5 star

Rooms were below expectations. No exhaust fan in bathroom, toilet flush needs to be held down 3 seconds and needs multiple attempts, no hairdryer or kleenex in room, lack of outlets and the only ones in the room can't fit with wider adapters

Room & breakfast were nice. As to location it's near Parque LLeras & Parque El Poblado. To go to the other side to reach Oviedo & Santa Fe Mall for me it was too much to walk considering I use a walking-cane. Cleaning & Restaurant staff very friendly & always helpful. End-of-year Party in the rotating restaurant (above 18th floor) is very nice and we enjoyed it tremendously.

In the room I missed a coffee-machine or water kettle so we could make coffee or just a cup tea. We had to call room-service to order 2cups of coffee or tea and by the time they arrive at the room it would be cold within couple of seconds. This is something most hotels have nowadays, and you would relieve the room service personnel that may have so many other rooms to attend with bigger orders.

Spacious suite. Quiet room. Food generally good.

No English speaking waiters in restaurant so difficult understanding menu options. Flickering light bulb over table in room.

There were virtually no electrical.outlets which made it difficult to connect all the devices. But I saw other rooms and they did have outlets. I was unlucky

Hotel staff is perfect, especially Daniel Vergas. I accidentally made a reservation for a week later on booking.com. The guy organized everything quickly and gave me an even better room than I booked at the same price for the day I arrived. High level of service and professionalism. If I come to Mediilinin again, this is the hotel I will choose. Central location close to everything and El Poblado Street, large rooms, large pool. Two things that need improvement are the wifi that didn't work for a few days and the breakfast which is a 3-star level. Thanks to them, I stayed at the same hotel in Cali which was excellent in both respects.

I always enjoy staying in Dann Carlton hotels, they are very clean, safe and modern. The drinks and food are usually good also and this was in a great location as a base for our stay in Medellin.

I didn't like the fact that my wife was checked coming back into the hotel as if I was bring a prostitute back. I know there was a man with 4 girls at reception at the same time and it was 2am but for me that was very cheeky of security to question her. Also one of her friends visited and my Auntie and Uncle were at a neighbouring hotel and we couldn't take anyone else to the room to show them the hotel unless we paid 499,000 COP per person. However they were allowed to stay at the bar.

The view was acceptable after we requested the change of room we had the garbage container and the employees parking lot

The restaurant food in the last floor that rotates was horrible the worst food I had in Colombia or any other restaurant anywhere it was our anniversary the steak was ice cold in the middle just everything they served was horrible and expensive we waited with friends to eat together and the food never arrive at an acceptable time for all to eat together plus the wrong plates were served we speak Spanish so it was not a language problem what a disappointment we should not have had to pay for something so horrible

I've always considered the Dann Carlton my home away from home in Medellín, and this recent stay reaffirmed that sentiment. It's been four years since my last visit, and I'm delighted to say that the hotel's charm and exceptional service have only grown stronger. I was once again immediately impressed by their staff's genuine warmth and hospitality. They made me feel valued and respected from the moment I arrived. A special shout-out to Daniel at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. My room was just as luxurious as I remembered, with a comfortable bed, stunning views, and all the modern amenities I could ask for. The breakfast buffet continues to be a highlight of my stay, with a delicious variety of local and international dishes. And the hotel's location remains perfect for exploring the city while enjoying a peaceful retreat. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Medellín and staying at the Dann Carlton. It's a truly special place that never fails to exceed my expectations.

Amazing old school 5-star hotel! The bed was a dream, so comfortable!! The room itself is great, a lot of space and has black out curtains, well working AC & enough storage room for two! While the hotel is in Poblado which is known for partying, the rooms are quiet and you won’t hear any noise from outside. The breakfast is phenomenal, we loved it! Pool & gym are great too. The staff was friendly and always helpful with whatever we needed. You cannot go wrong with staying here and we will be back for sure!

The only minor thing was the flushing of the toilet took forever which can easily be fixed!

The staff at the front desk was nice and friendly. When we had an issue with our room, they were quick to help us find a better one. The beds were very comfortable, and the view from our room was beautiful. We also enjoyed the food at the outdoor restaurant; it was tasty and added to our pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, our experience at Restaurant 43 was disappointing. The staff there were unprofessional, and they served a drink that tasted disgusting. Despite not being able to drink it, they still charged us the full price. Additionally, the original room we were given had a door leading outside instead of a window, with noticeable cracks that made it quite noisy. Although the front desk staff eventually moved us to a better room, the initial experience was not great.
