great location, safe area, close to main centre, shops river, restaurants etc

only problem we had was a leak coming from upstairs that dripped on the face, over pillows etc for the whole time we where there, so only one single bed could be used and one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed. staff couldn’t fix it until we had left unfortunately, so that did make a big difference to our comfort.

AMAZING view and great breakfast included. Light, bright, and airy, rustic chic feel in the room.

The place was great and clearly well loved. Small things: a weathered broken lamp shade and an underpowered poorly functioning hair dryer come to mind. A light freshen up would go along way. Great bones and design aesthetic.

Nice greeting when we arrived, given good info on surroundings and history of building. Loved the room and views to the river. Great breakfasts, just a really lovely place to stay.

Bed a little hard for me but realise it might have been perfect for others.

Beautiful boutique hotel with attention to detail. We liked the size of the room and decoration. We received a very warm welcome and wonderful recommendation of how to explore the City. Staff very friendly and always a smile. Very nice breakfast was served downstairs in the breakfast room or in the bright conservatory, a place to enjoy the morning sun. The Mo House, bohemian style and comfort, is located in an absolute great spot - you can reach any sightseeing point within minutes on foot. We definitely come back to the Mo-House !

You can hear the tram passing over the bridge early morning; but I guess that is what you need to accept when you like to stay in the old part of town. Didn't bother us much - but worthwhile mentioning if you have a light sleep...

Absolutely perfect. The location was amazing - walking distance to everything of interest. The hotel was beautifully decorated, romantic and modern. We loved our balcony with views of the cathedral and bridge. The breakfast was delicious with options for cooked eggs as well as pastries, fruits, yogurts etc. All staff members were excellent. Friendly and helpful. A really special stay and at a very good price. Would 100% recommend.

This is a very stylish hotel in a great location. The staff couldn't be nicer!

There's no soundproofing between the floors so it could be very noisy depending on your neighbours. The lighting is very minimal, just bedside lights which I found a little difficult in the evening when I'd closed the shutters.

Everything was perfect! Ingrid is exceptional! Kept in touch when we were coming in and was able to get our room ready a bit early. The room we had was a dream!! The view was outstanding! If we were not there to see Porto, I would have loved to have just stayed in the room the entire time. It was beautifully decorated! Old world charm mixed with a modern atmosphere. Breakfast...amazing and another beautiful spot to sit and relax. The property is located close to everything. Couldn't have been better!

Location, breakfast, staff and incredible river view from our room.

Beds were really hard and uncomfortable for a tummy sleeper. Hair dryer was on it’s last legs. Slow elevator. Only the bed affected our stay.

This hotel is a gem. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, room quite large and well furnished, with a nice little kitchenette that we did not stay long enough to use. Beds, linens and towels comfortable and breakfast was very good offering both buffet spread and some to order options. But the most spectacular feature was the view from the river-facing guest rooms - it simply cannot be beat.

Not a complaint, just a heads up for other potential guests - the entrance is on a narrow street (as are most in Porto) and the approach from 2 out of 3 directions is uphill. The third, while coming downslope, is probably the least likely approach if you are coming on foot with baggage. Either decent fitness or a taxi are advised.

What's not to like? :) The staff, Ingrid (if I'm not mistaken) was very hospitable, accommodating and helpful. From the time of booking right to check in, it was a seamless and pleasant experience. We wanted to splurge for our stay in Porto, so for this stay, it was a little over our budget but for the experience, I'd say a 10 out of 10 on value for money. Our room was the PERFECT ROOM, and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else if I were to go back. Spacious, comfy, aesthetically charming and what a view! The bed was large and comfy. The bathtub was dreamy, but a little of a struggle if you're used to shower standing. Small set back though for a room that makes you feel so good. Plenty of hooks and racks to hang used towels and clothing - which is rare there I'm not sure why. There's an elevator to go up to the higher floors so that's a HUGE plus for rooms in Portugal. Breakfast setting is lovely and inviting, and the spread gives you just enough so you don't over eat. Must point out the crockery used were delightful. Minutes walk away from all the charming streets of Porto. All in all, Mo House is a fabulous place.

Don't think I found any dislikes here, except that it was fully booked at the time we were there. If we could stay longer, we would! Maybe they should expand? ;)
