I had a truly wonderful stay at Hard Rock Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and their hospitality was exceptional. I was especially impressed when they helped locate an item I had accidentally left behind. Not only did they find it quickly, but they also arranged to have it shipped back to me, which I deeply appreciate.

The taste and portion size of the food at Hard Rock Café could be improved further.

Went with the kids and they loved it so much. There were soo many activities and facilities available (importantly it’s free) in the hotel that the kids loving it until they didn’t even leave the hotel during our stayed! The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. We had previously stayed at Hard Rock Penang before and felt the breakfast wasn’t that great, but this time it was wayy better especially the malay dish. Thumbs up for that! The housekeepers and hotel staff was so helpful and understanding. We asked the housekeepers to vacuum our room at night (after havoc dinner in our room) and the housekeepers came immediately after our call and vacuum the whole room. Overall it was a wonderful time, we are happy because the kids are happy. They even felt quite low and sad when we checked out. Will definitely come back and can’t wait to be greeted by great hospitality! Keep up the good work Hard Rock Penang!

Very nice and easy access hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food are great and the pool are super, especially for kids. My kids love it so much. They had alot of fun and the beach are very close by. Definitely will come again.

We had an awesome stay at this hotel. It took some getting used to because the music is loud and it’s busier than the places we normally go to but we had such a good time. The staff was so very friendly and the pool was just amazing! The kids club did their best to give the kids a fun day and if you wanted something else than the restaurants they offer, we suggest you go to Enca (right across the street). It’s easy to get a grab to George Town and you should really go and see the butterflies and other animals at the butterfly exhibition. Our kids still talk about the pool, they loved it 100%!

Breakfast was good but it was very crowded. Also we had no idea it was recommended not to swim in the sea because there it potentially dangerous jellyfish swimming around! The pool sure makes up for that though. The food was a bit expensive (especially the drinks) but the quality was great!

The family room was a great size with a door to close off the kid area. Bathroom a little small for a family of 4 but fine. The swimming pool was great. Life guards on duty and lots of areas to play. Nice being right on the beach and walkable to restaurants. The food is very western at dinner times and not local prices but quality good. Belle, the duty manager, looked after us so well. And the staff at the shack by the beach were also excellent.

The traffic to it can be a nightmare. It’s at the end of Batu Ferringhi so you can sit in long traffic queues.

On the drive to the hotel, the car driver noted that the Hard Rock was one of the best hotels on the island. He was not wrong! The visual of the hotel at first arrival, the staff greeting and checking in, the room, the size and condition of the pool, proximity to the beach, the food and restaurant choices, the Hard Rock Cafe, the closeness to shops and bars and food, the cleanliness, there is nothing to be complained about, it’s near enough the perfect resort hotel! We left the premises once in 7 days (and were let down by the place we went to and wish we hadn’t gone off site!) All of the staff greet you as they walk by, all of the restaurant teams are friendly and efficient, the housekeeping team are fully on top of the cleaning, the pool is cleaned every single evening. Probably things you expect as standard but rarely see followed through or not done to satisfaction. At the Hard Rock hotel, they do everything as expected and with a smile. An amazing place that I cannot wait to return to in the future!!

Everything is so nice there, the environment beach , sand is beautiful , clean and well lookafter , excellent hotel , very kids friendly , the staff so warm , welcoming and helpful , your all have a great team !! My rent car tyre even flat just in front of hotel lobby , and you have bunch of good staff rush and help us together change the puncture tyres with the spare tyre and guide us to go to the nearest workshop in the island ... well what to say , me and my family really had a great time there , even i myself can't remember how many times had we went there 🤗🥰😀😍 Keep up the good work and great team !!!

Our stay in the HRH Penang was spectacular! We had a Rock Roxity Suite with our 2 kids and one toddler. The pool area made the day for the kids. They enjoyed the slides, games, water basketball and underwater music. The beach was also nice right in front, but the water was rather milky and I was stuck by a jellyfish that I couldn't see in advance. The Rock Royalty Club is really recommended, only few guests there and the view from the top floor towards the sea was great! The staff and Rock Shop personal werer great, breakfast was also delicious. Tobias and Michael, the managers, took really great care of us. Thanks!

We got a room on the third floor, which was first quite small and then you didn't have any view, just the roof and the neighboring hotel. The water on the beach was very warm and milky. Therefore you couldn't really enjoy bathing thre and I was stung by an unseen jellyfish even.

I love the vibes and concept of Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe! The lagoon view from my room was stunning, with easy access to the water. The food was all delicious, with standout dishes that really impressed me. Overall, a fantastic experience for a babymoon!

Upon check-in, it took nearly an hour to receive my room key, which was frustrating. When I entered the room, everything seemed fine, except the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. I planned to notify housekeeping and reception the next day while also requesting room service. However, when I returned later, the smell was gone. While I appreciate the resolution, the initial experience was quite uncomfortable.
