The location was perfect for sight seeing. The hotel reception area facilities were good...free hot drinks and snacks for you to purchase if required. The room was clean and the staff were helpful.

Being woken up at 0600hrs by goods being delivered to a nearby shop (we could see it out of our window) which was then followed by the 'shop' workers playing loud music until approx 0745hrs. I accept this was not the fault of the hotel but it did affect our sleep. The receptionist advised us that work was not allowed to start before 0800hrs and she would look into the matter . The breakfast was cold and unappetising.

Great location. You couldn't be more central to all the best places to visit in Gent. And considering it's so central the windows are so good that once shut you cannot hear the noise from the street below at all making a peaceful retreat after a day walking around the city. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. We will definitely look at staying here again on our next visit.

The room was very hot and the air conditioning would not stay on. And because of its amazing central location having the windows open of a night wasn't a good idea with the street noise below. Only had breakfast one morning because options were limited and not the best. But plenty of nicer places to go for breakfast all really close by to the hotel.

The location is superb and convenient, we were able to access to the main sightseeing areas within 5 mins, and also there are many places to shop and nice restaurants to explore.

It was not very convenient when we could only get water from the coffee machine located at lobby, the staying experience could be better if there's water dispenser in each floor. At the meantime, we were not sure why the receptionist who assisted us with check-in treated us differently than the caucasian guests, as she was very helpful and informative, and provided some information about restaurants and also events nearby. But when it was our turn, she didn't share any even we asked proactively, which left us with least impression and didn't feel comfortable to interact with the reception desk during our stays.

Breakfast was simple but good. There was a good selection of food both hot and cold depending on what you wanted. The coffee was also surprisingly good. The location of the hotel was superb. It was walkable to everything and very close to transit. There were plenty of options for food nearby (and reception gave us a list of recommended options). Being in the heart of the city was really great and allowed us to see a lot. The hotel overall was really clean and the room was in great condition when we arrived. The overall size of the space was perfect for our needs.

Our room was partially cleaned (bed made and towels replaced) a couple of times but when this happened, the coffee in the room wasn't replenished and the mugs weren't replaced with clean ones. This was a small issue as there was always coffee and cups available in the lobby area.

I liked that the location was really near to the center, to the "must see" in Ghent. Walking distance. When i was searching in the map, i thought it was far but i was surprised that hotel was just 1 block away. The reception was also very nice. We checked-in around past 12pm but we were able to get our room immediately and not wait for the advertised check-in time. Also, when i booked this hotel, i requested a room on the upper floor for the view - i got my room and it was great view. They have free coffee and water in the lobby for the guests. The room is minimalist but worth the value of I paid.

Nothing that I remember.

The room was spacious and well equipped. We liked the decor. The lobby always smelled lovely as did the toiletries provided. The staff were all very pleasant. I particularly noticed how hard they worked to keep the breakfast area clean and stocked. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the city close to all the sights, and to nice cafes/restaurants, but the street was quiet at night - no noisy traffic or revellers.

The bathroom sink drained very slowly. The mattress was a bit too firm for us. There was no decaff coffee or decaff tea available in the lobby machine or at breakfast.

Clean hotel, excellent location, warm and rather comfortable bed. The breakfast staff were lovely.

The sink was clogged in our room. We noticed this upon our arrival, we couldn’t even wash our hands without a sudsy puddle forming. We asked the night shift front desk employee for help, but she shrugged, said she would need a special unclogging liquid they didn’t have, that she could maybe ask for a plumber to come by the following day, but it was unlikely the plumber would come, as it was a Sunday. I’m fairly sure a €5 Mr Muscle gel would have done the trick. Because she wouldn’t help us, we had to wait for a long time to use the sink, since it drained so slowly. There’s just a microwave on sight, no stove. If, like me, you have food intolerances and you can’t eat 90% of the food provided, they can’t offer any alternatives.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the city center, so you can explore everything on foot. The staff is extremely friendly and explains everything clearly. They don’t mind repeating or re-explaining anything. The receptionist even lent me a phone charger because mine wasn’t working :) The breakfast is simple but has plenty of everything. There’s even a coffee machine downstairs in the lobby. The rooms are very clean, just the right size, and the bathroom is spotless. The hotel itself is peaceful and no noise from the street could be heard. I definitely recommend it and if I ever return, I’ll choose a room in this hotel.

It was extremely close to the center yet very quiet.. It takes 3 min by walking to reach the hotel after you take the Tram 3 from the main train station.. The staff was very helpful before my stay with the directions etc. Room was very clean that I didn't have to use my own pillowcase that I carry all the time =) Delicious breakfast with various options, free drinks at the front desk area to rest a bit during your check-in process, luggage room for early arrivals until the check-in time.. It was a nice experience for me and my only regret is staying in Gent only one night.. My next trip will be longer and surely I'll stay here again.:

There's nothing I didn't like about the property except the whole check-in system in Belgium.. 3-4 pm is a bit late and I'd like to be able to get into my room and relax a bit before discovering the city.. It's not a complaint about the hotel, only an unpleasent observation about the system itself..

Top location in the heart of Ghent. Very clean. Comfortable room. Free water and coffee is served at the main lobby, coffee machine available in the room. The personnel were very helpful on all our requests. The bed was very comfortable.

The temperature in the room was not the desired (bit colder than what we expected) and the heating in the room did not work. After we communicated the issue, they were very responsive and rectified it centrally, heating worked and the temperature in the room increased upto 23 degrees Celsius. Not sure how the temperature will be during the colder days of the winter, if the heating cannot be adjusted from the room. This was our issue/concern during our stay in this hotel. Otherwise we were very happy.
