The location is amazing. It was peaceful, quiet, soothing and definitely breathtaking. The interior design of our room was awesome. A big thank you to Lotfy, Sharifa, the security and the restaurant staff for making our stay superb. Lotfy thank you for the honeymoon cake you sent us.

First, when we arrived the all the staff are very welcoming and helpful (especially the security who helped our luggage, the housekeeping staff) all of them made us feel like special guest. They address the request right away and perfectly. The accomodation was extraordinary compare to what we expected. The bed is very comfortable. The setting area are cozy 1 in the inside and one outside(our favorite place to sit and stay especially in night time because we can see the stars and enjoying the cold weather in the night. I also like the luxurios quality of their sheets. We've been to different places and stayed some 5 star hotel but I never experience that they include shaving kit in the toiletries. Actually I brought 1 for my husband but I appreciate all the efforts and initiative of the management. Even they put loofah. That's was wonderful. If you are muslim and loved to salah they have their old masjid in the village. The view, the weather, the silence, so calm and relaxing. All experience was exceptional and definitely will come back. We leave the hotel with the smile in our hearts. See you again next time

Just the WC in our room. It's shaking but we managed during our stay. That was no big deal but It should be fix. Nothing else.

Najd Al Maqsar was the perfect escape! The hotel’s traditional architecture and modern comforts created a serene atmosphere. The stunning mountain views were breathtaking, and the private balconies were ideal for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The staff, especially Lotfi, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and we also had the pleasure of trying Chef Ramy’s amazing dishes. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. Overall, Najd Al Maqsar is a hidden gem. It’s a great place to unwind and recharge.

The shower is a bit of a mess! Water's always spilling out and making a puddle on the floor. Plus, the lights are either full blast or off – no middle ground. It'd be great if we could dim them a bit.

It feels like you’ve been lucky enough to travel back in time 300 years, but with great service, modern kitchen and bath, and with WiFi 😁 This is not just a valuable historical location, but also wonderful people who make your journey unforgettable. Many thanks to chef Mahdi, manager Lotfy, and other members of the hotel team. Very attentive and caring, they made our stay a pleasant memory. So we want to come back again, absolutely will. The staff were exceptionally very welcoming. From the receptionist, waitress, security guards, all fantastic people. The rugged mountains, the quietness of the place, the fantastic views of both the sunset and sunrise were breathtaking. All in all, somewhere to return to and to bragg about with friends and family. The decor of the room and the ser up, and quality of furniture used, very nice indeed!

Minor issues that could be fixed easily. 1. Shower area: water was overflowing to the rest of the bathroom, so it needs fixing. 2. TV position: the way the TV is mounted on the wall in relation to the bed, was not good.

Special mention to Lotfy who made sure I had a great room with unrestricted views of the hills, and made sure I was welcomed and gave me a run down of the retreat. The room was super clean and comfortable with great attention to detail in the decor reflecting the local heritage and neutral tones. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs which was very good too. The weather was amazing and cloudy so a lot of people trying to make the most of the views here.

Maybe option to have room service? Menu in the room and I didn't know which number to call for reception, so just to make that a little more clear on the phone. Otherwise perfect!

What makes this an exceptional property is the customer service. The staff members were beyond polite and could not seem to do enough for us. We really felt that our happiness was the only thing that mattered to them. Huge thanks to everyone who made us feel valued from the second we arrived to the second we drove off. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The view was very pleasant and the rooms very well decorated. The bathrobes were the fluffiest we've had in any hotel. The outdoor space would be lovely in better weather (we visited in August). The nearby Rafisa Dam offers opportunities for water sports, a restaurant, an ice cream parlour and several hiking routes.

The rooms (guest houses) are up on the hill and the only way to get there is climb up the stairs. We did not mind, but if you have trouble walking, please take this into account and request one of the lowest ones. The shower was not draining fast enough, resulting in the bathroom getting quickly flooded.

Our stay was beyond everything we had imagined! The place is stunning with top quality facilities and amenities. The staff very professional and courteous. Lotfy from reception went above and beyond with his attention to detail and eagerness to meet our needs and make our getaway exceptional. I have been traveling for 9 years and never before have I been accommodated and welcomed by the staff like this. Highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone who wants to spoil themselves or recharge the batteries ✨

I like the idea of developing the heritage part of the country. Najd Al Meqsar is a place where history and comfort meet. It will be good for a staycation to escape city life and tourists who want to see different types of UAE. The night view from the top tower is amazing. Don't miss sunrise and the best way to do the jogging to the dam.

All was perfect. I would suggest sharing some hiking tours for future tourists. The place is perfect for it.
