The room was very pleasant. Super clean. Well-appointed. AC worked well. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable and I would wake up well-rested and ready for the day's adventures on this stunningly beautiful island. The breakfast was outstanding. Choice of pretty much everything you could want for breakfast. Alejandro made the coffees to perfection. The breakfast was so hearty that I didn't want anything for lunch. The grounds are extremely well-maintained and quite beautiful. Some of the fruit at your breakfast are courtesy of the fruit trees you will see on the grounds. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They found out that it was my birthday and sang happy birthday for me at breakfast and gifted me with the most gorgeous necklace. Juan, at the reception area, deserves special mention for making my trip the best it could possibly be with many priceless tips about the incredible sites on the island. My trip would have been a lot less outstanding without his help. He also helped me to book a rental vehicle and organized prompt delivery of it. His English is impeccable. I highly recommend getting a rental vehicle. Driving there is uncomplicated. Waze and Google Maps don't always work - don't forget you're in one of the remotest places on Earth! But, not to worry, the people are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help you find your destination. Such lovely, kind and welcoming folks! I'm a solo female traveler, with some mobility issues. I call 2 places "home"...The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and The United States. The standards at this hotel are, on par with, and even higher than many places in the United States and Europe that fall into a similar price range. You definitely get your money's worth here.

Staff were very kind and friendly, and constantly made sure we were full satisfied, both at the reception and at the restaurant. The property was perfectly landscaped. Although we were in the first house facing the reception, the deck still offered a quiet and relaxing experience. I was first worried when I realized that the room with a "private" terrace was in fact one of four rooms in a shared house with common area, it turned out to be fine as we only had one other couple occupying the neighboring room, but I imagine it could have been a different experience. For clarification, the Deluxe "Suite" should be labeled a Deluxe "Room".
The wifi really slowed down when our neighbors apparently started streaming movies. But at the same time not having coverage in most of the island was probably a blessing.

Even though it was not possible to check in before hours, the staff made every effort to make me feel comfortable. Very positive energy and wonderful attitude Beautiful place, the rooms, the houses, garden, pool (although a bit on the small side, it is gorgeous), very nice staff
Very minor things that could be improved like one more senior staff, one or two breakfast items (understandably that coffee is not quite up to standard but while everything is varied and very good, the bread is not - and there is bakeries with decent bread etc...). Description on Booking is a bit misleading, my room as such did not have pool view, not a problem since the garden is gorgeous but it could be better described

We stayed for 3 nights and our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the whole island. Our room was in a great position, overlooking the pool, was comfortable and air conditioned. The hotel’s garden, food and cocktails were all brilliant. A taxi into Hanga Roa was only 5000 CLP. We hired a car from the hotel for the day so we could explore ourselves. We then had a half day excursion with a brilliant guide the following day. She was the president of (I think) the tourism board in Rapa Nui. Learning and seeing the Moais was definitely the highlight of the trip.
We were told that the restaurant and bar was open from 1300 to 2200 daily. My only criticism is that on our final evening at dinner (we sat down approximately 2120 after watching the sunset at Abu Thahai) we were told that cocktails could not be served; only beer and wine. This is clearly not much of an issue but I was rather looking forward to a cocktail that evening (they were very good). I noticed that there was only one member of staff on duty. Perhaps she did not know how to make them or did into have time? Otherwise a fantastic stay and I would thoroughly recommend to others.

The family / friendly atmosphere The warmth and valuable help of the personnel in booking the sightseeing tours and providing guidance The great cuisine and amazing breakfast The spa experience The view overlooking the ocean The selection of books on Easter Island in the rooms The nice and comfi rooms The surprise departure gift The hotel overall is a great place to relax and unwind while being immersed in nature with an elegant rapa nui touch
The location is a bit far from the centre (30-40 mins walk while gps/internet is not available in different parts of the island so risk of getting lost). A taxi is recommended.

First and foremost the staff! Pohane is just amazing and even managed to make things happen that looked unlikely to go ahead due to our poor planning. The hotel is beautifully laid out and the views are amazing - so is the garden and all the flowers! The food is also out of this world - in particular if you consider that it’s one of the most remote places on earth.
We didn’t mind but be aware that it’s outside town. We actually quite enjoyed it as it was away from the buzz so perfect for relaxing but it might not be for everyone.

Everything about the friendly, attentive, staff went above and beyond! Jose, Pohane and Thomas were exceptional and get 5 stars! I wish everyone in the service industry could take a lesson from them. It seemed like nothing was too much of an ask. Our room was great and the patios a nice place to relax. Our bed was AMAZING, and we have a Temperpedic at home. So I'm a bit of a mattress snob, lol. The tours they provided us were private and Tito was really cool. He had that energy that he was attentive but not overly so you could have romantic moments to yourself.
There are roosters on the island. So this isn't a complaint, just and observation. If you light sleeper, bring earplugs. Roosters say "hello" in the mornings, that's what they do. I packed my earplugs & slept like a baby.

I really recommend this accommodation with half board because you can use the guide service. Our guides were excellent, and the private tours were wonderful! The hotel's boss was very helpful, as were all the other staff.
I recommend taking an easy menu and taking care of availability. If you don't have fish three times, it is a problem because there is no more variability in the menu. The portion is so big, so take a smaller menu than a three-course menu.

It's the perfect hotel. I came for solitude and relaxation, and Hare Uta is like a utopia. The resort itself is a beautiful botanical garden with most amazingly beautiful flowers. Room is clean. The staffs are considerate, even you can order sandwich for taking off. I tried different restaurants in town then found out they have the most exquisite food here. It's away from the town so quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the company of the noisy chicken too. It's one of my favorite places on earth.

We booked our excursions through the hotel and they were fantastic! Not only was our guide the best, but the lunches we had with the full day excursions far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were light and airy with plenty of outdoor seating available. Our reservation included breakfast, which very good; and the other meals we had at the restaurant were excellent.
I expected and looked forward to the roosters crowing but I had not expected the island dogs barking all night. I'm not sure if being on a hill amplified their noise or if that's what could be heard everywhere on the island at night.
