1. Location was great! 260m walk from the Train Station. Either walk or take a bus to Bryggen Wharf and Torget Fish Market. 2. Love the interior design, and their Junior Queen Suite was spacious enough for our family of 4 (kids’ age 24 & 16). 3. Bathroom flooring was heated so it’s comfortable during cold season. 4. The breakfast spread was very good, and the setting was cozy. 5. Staff were friendly and helpful.

1. We checked in late at night and the water heater was not working, even after the staff sent someone to try fixing it. Eventually they let us use the shower in another adjacent room. 2. The lighting in the room is rather dim for our liking. 3. Over looking a cemetery which we didn’t mind at all, but in case u are not comfortable with it.

The hotel is very well located to the city and the main train station. We arrived by ferry into Bergen and had to take a taxi from the harbour terminal to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were happy with our room. Breakfast was very good with a good variety. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was also very good. Free tea, coffee and water were available in the hotel lobby - this was actually the case at most hotels we stayed at in Norway. It was easy to walk into Bergen city centre from the hotel and also see the main sights.

-The breakfast is great, providing many warm dishes. They serve smoke salmon but I don't really like the taste. -The room is well designed and they offer nice shower gel with good fragrance. -The location is perfect for people who start their Norway shellnut from Bergen.

I said the room well designed but not include the celling. How on earth, the celling remain like unfinished construction place. By the way, some room will have grave view from windows. Some people may don't like it.

The hotel is in a good location, in walking distance to most landmarks in the city centre. It is a quiet area, ideal for sleeping. Breakfast is superb, with lots of options with top quality products that will definitely give you all the energy needed to enjoy the city.

Room size is definitely a little small, especially with a lot of luggage. I hate having to leave suitcases on the floor because going up and down to catch your stuff on the floor is tiresome and bad for the muscles. I'd appreciate more furniture suitable for luggage. Parking is well organized but it is not on the premises, so you need to walk for 5 minutes. I know this is not a big deal. The price is a little steep, but everything in Norway is quite expensive.

On arrival, we got an unexpected upgrade so that we had the benefit of an extra large room, which was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The location the hotel is unbeatable: right opposite the station (2 minutes to the platform), or 3 minutes to the tram, which also takes you to the airport. The center of Bergen starts around the corner from the hotel, and the historic quarter Bryggen and the harbour is only about a 10 minute walk away. Very convenient: The "umbrella" service at the reception (because it rains a lot in Bergen)

A few more sockets in the room would improve the quality enormously, likewise some areas in the bathroom to put down your toiletries

Excellent location: we take the light train from the airport and then get off near the train station, walk through the train station to reach the hotel in just 3 minutes! We also walk the corridor inside the train station ( without getting wet if rains) to a shopping mall to reach the bus station to Stavanger by bus in just 6 minutes! It is very convenient. Excellent breakfast: Lots of the varieties of food. It is very fresh, tasty, delicious and good quality. It starts at 6:30 am so we have enough time to pack, check out, store the luggage and catch the train to Flam easily. Superior Room: Very clean, comfortable pillow and bed, quiet; you will not hear the voice from next door. Staff: Very polite and helpful. We definitely will go back again if we visit Bergen again.

Both Bergen city rail & Bus station are just few steps away from the hotel, ease of check in& out process and then voila the breakfast is fantastic!

I checked in at 11pm, by that time Hotel Bar/restaurant was closed; Bergen being a city that goes to bed early , it would have been better if there was mini mart in the hotel or mini bar in the room for some snacks, but none exists

Room was spacious (i think we were given an accessible room, so the bathroom was huge!) Local is excellent, can just walk to over to catch my 8am train 5 minutes before departure! Breakfast option is pretty extensive and very filling (great for all the walking we get during the day around the city). At times breakfast can be very busy, last day I almost couldn't find a seat for my meal.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make my own tea (though have a nespresso machine was nice too!)

I stayed at the hotel due to the location, right next to the train station. It was a good value for money, I even got a free room upgrade. The room was very bright, comfortable and clean, and some regular amenities were also there. My booking included a breakfast and that too was really good - the hotel has a wide selection of breakfast options.

There was a door in my room to some other space for which I had no key and no warranty that someone won't just barge into my room while I am sleeping. So that detail was a bit eerie. The other thing is that towel was full with long black hairs. Thankfully I noticed it before using it on myself.

The entire process was very seamless. Easy to book, easy hotel to find. Central Location. Everything was very accurate and as advertised. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was big and comfortable. Would definitely consider re-booking an even longer stay just to get more of this place.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would have liked to see some other facilities such as a pool, spa or wellness center of some kind. There was mention of a fitness center on the website but I couldn't find any further details on where that was in the building or what it included. Otherwise, still a solid experience.
