The hotel is very well located, with convenient parking and a bus stop right across the street. Our room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast, though limited in variety, was tasty. The best perk was definitely the gym, which is very well equipped. The hotel staff were also very friendly.

We stayed over the holidays, and unfortunately, we were unable to get a table for dinner at the hotel. We tried to order room service, but at the last minute, we were informed that room service with actual meals had been canceled on Christmas Day, which was very inconvenient. Our room was on the lower ground floor, right next to a walking path from the parking lot, meaning we had to keep the blinds shut the entire time. Combined with the room’s design, it felt a bit like staying in a basement.

We had arranged to meet friends here for dinner, and as we live out of town decided to book in for the night. The hotel looked beautiful as the Christmas decorations were still up and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We were given a room on the lower ground floor that had recently been refurbished and it was absolutely stunning, immaculately clean, with loads of space. We had drinks in the bar when our friends arrived before enjoying a fantastic meal in the restaurant. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay and would not hesitate to come back again.

The staff were extremely helpful throughout with Laura, in the restaurant, being particularly special when we enjoyed a dinner with guests on Fri (20 Sep) evening. We were celebrating a special Birthday and everyone went out of their way to make it 'absolutely special' - thank you

The room (No 121) was excellent but the one problem was 'design over practicality'. The ensuite bathroom arrangement requires rethinking. The sink and taps do not work together - the taps are too far removed from the sink and half the time, was spent mopping up water. Also, the blind does not shut due to the sinks. It seems very minor to mention but you did ask for feedback and this, in my view, was an important aspect to raise Otherwise the room was perfect - thank you

From the moment we walked into the reception checking area, the extravagant bouquet of flowers enveloped us. Our rooms were very cozy with the thickest mattress and softest pillows and bed linens. The shower gel AMS hands wash are delicate and delightful. Coffee at the bar was great too. I set up office in a nook on one of the many lounge sofas. The background music fully captured the romance of this property. Every picture, framed kilt and decorative piece is well thought out. This place is a must!! 🩷♥️💗

There are no face towels so bring your own.

The hotel was so remarkable, it threatened to outshine my entire vacation! The suites are expansive The comfort of the soaking tub was the stuff of daydreams. The shower? My spouse and I could both use it without a single "excuse me". And the bar staff? They mixed cocktails with such precision, even a chemist would be impressed.

The restaurant is good but could be better. Staff can get over whelmed so response time is sometimes slow. Some dishes are incredible others are just ok. The steaks can be hit or miss as well. At it's worst food is still good just not always worth the price.

Really nice hotel and staff. This was our second time staying there. The bed was so comfortable,had a great night sleep both nights. Very spacious room. Breakfast was first class. Best coffee machines I've ever used. I used the decaffeinated coffee whilst my wife had caffeinated coffee.

It's a bit out of the centre which meant a bit of walking for us, but would still stay there again if we were to go back to Aberdeen. If we were to be really picky, I would say the room could do with a bit more light, but not a major problem.

We had a wonderful stay. The room is really beautiful, clean, and the bed is comfortable and massive. A key benefit compared to other hotels is that the room is completely soundproofed. Best night sleep in years. The breakfast was delicious. We will be back.

A few minor things. We had trouble finding the car park on arrival. The hotel should maybe add that information to the confirmation. The shower head in the shower is too big for the size of the shower cubicle and hot/cold tap is not clear. So a bit stressful as I could not turn tap on without risking getting burnt and water was going everywhere when door was opened to switch tap on. Also impossible not to get hair wet in the shower. Replacing with smaller shower head going forward would make a lot more sense. Finally, never noticed the minifridge until we were leaving as it is hidden inside the wardrobe with weird sticker on it, so not where I would have expected to see it and it does not look like a fridge at first glance.

Nice, clean rooms, comfortable and good size. Staff friendly.

Parking was very limited. We were lucky enough to get one of the last two spaces at the back of the property. During our visit people were always driving round the car park trying to get spaces. Couldn’t use the car during our visit for fear of not getting parked again. This is a real oversight for this hotel. We would stay again if we wanted to use public transport to get here. But if we were driving we would probably stay at a different hotel with more parking.

The staff were very welcoming, the room was spacious and decorated to a high standard. Went to the bar for a snack and the staff member was very helpful, he recommending drinks and food which was perfect. Breakfast was to a high standard with a good choice. Staff again were very helpful and polite. The staff would be the main reason I would return to this hotel, they were all attentive and friendly. Lovely area of Aberdeen.

The bathroom lighting was poor but may have been in keeping with the romantic feel of the luxurious bedroom decor.

What a hotel! The building is beautiful and the Christmas decorations were stunning. The room was large with a freestanding bath - the bathroom was luxurious had 2 incredible showers, 2 sinks and plenty of room. Bed was very comfortable - staff were friendly and super helpful. Had room service due to restaurant be booked - food was very good Highly recommend this hotel

The bathroom had a large window looking over a car park and houses - the blind didn't really fit the window but had to be kept down at all times due to people being able see in.
