This is a small hotel, in an excellent location for exploring a “City Different” aka Santa Fe, New Mexico. It’s less than a 10-minute stroll to the plaza but for those seeking proximity with serenity this fits the bill. The rooms are spread out over several unconnected building serviced by a central reception and dining area for breakfast. Plenty of off-street parking which is a major plus given the challenge of finding a place during high tourist season. The venue is clean, but for those who care, a bit dated. My room had a fireplace and some nice Southwestern artwork, however overall was a bit on the dark side.. This is not a place to stay however, if you a seeking a room ”with a view”…but why would you need it when you visit the Land of Enchantment, which is best appreciated in the great out of doors. My room had a King bed that was extremely comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Staff is welcoming, informative and helpful. Breakfast, not fancy, but tasty and classic New Mexican (Breakfast burritos with green chili) with coffee made to order as well as the basics…Bagels & lox also included with your room if desired. Finally, given there are many much more expensive venues in SF, Los Palmas scores a 10 on the value for the money scale.
No significant negatives to mention. I stayed during the month of January. For those not interested in low carbon footprints, during the winter the room is set at ~ 68 degrees…fine for sleeping, perhaps a bit chilly for those from more tropical climes. The hot/cold water facets were “reversed” in my unit with hot being on the right…Not a deal breaker, but could be dangerous to the uninformed. A solid eight…excellent choice at a fair price. You can save on lodging costs while spending your earning on any of the fine dining restaurants well within walking distance.

The location was perfect! We didn't use our car at all and walked everywhere. It was very cozy inside and out and I didn't realize there was mini kitchen which was an added bonus! Love the fireplace as well.
The floor was dirty and I had to wipe my feet off a lot if I wasn't wearing shoes. Also, the breakfast buffet was the same every day and we found ourselves bored with the options by the end of our stay.

Charming B&B. Perfect location right off Guadalupe, close to the walking paths along the Alameda. I could walk to restaurants, the Railyard and the NM Art School. I loved having a private patio off my room to have my early morning coffee. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. I looked forward to the warm croissants, cappuccino and fresh fruit every morning in addition to choosing 1 of the 5 entrees offered. I loved the whimsical sculptures on the grounds and felt Inspired each day by eating outside on the dining patio. My bed and pillows were comfy as was the sitting area. Everything was to my liking!
the French press coffee maker in my room was awful! I bought gourmet instant coffee .

This hotel is a collection of small casita/cabin like houses. Everything was clean and really cute. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as well. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious, made to order breakfast every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if vacationing or passing by Santa Fe.
While out of their control, the parking lots are small and can be difficult to park/get in and out of if you have a bigger vehicle. If you have a large truck, I suggest calling ahead to see what casita would be best to offer you a place to park. Do not let this deter you from staying, just call ahead and I am sure the amazing staff will work with you.

Our room was very nice and clean, we didn't make use of the kitchenette, but it was very retro cool designed with great amenities. The property is walkable to the Plaza, which is great. We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast either, but we will the next time we stay here!
It looked like there had been a storm prior to our arrival with a lot of leaf litter and debris on the outside walkways and sitting areas. But there was a crew there cleaning up the next day we were leaving (we only had a one night stay). No one's fault, but we had to clean our outdoor seating area ourselves for evening cocktails. No big deal, just an observation. A small fan provided to the casitas would be nice too, for air flow. Thermostat was pre-programmed at 71 degrees.

Very friendly atmosphere! Great breakfast selection and coffee/tea bar! Everything was very clean! The location was perfect to walk into the plaza!
The TV in our room definitely needed the remote reprogrammed. We asked for assistance and we got the TV connected correctly, but then realized that the remote didn't work. We did try the batteries and to reprogram it, but failed. It's a good thing we don't really watch TV! We also could not get the electric fireplace to start up, but the room was warm enough!

The location is perfect. The breakfast is stellar as is the atmosphere in the hotel. The common spaces are varied and lovely.
A guest laundry is advertised and for long distance travelers is a real necessity in Santa Fe as a commercial laundromat is not within walking distance. The (single) washer at the hotel was not in good repair- no spin cycle requiring us to wring out our load of laundry. There was also no laundry soap available though this is also advertised as being provided, and the front desk clerk advised us to visit a local store to buy some. The hotel also seems to allow its employees to use this single washer and drier. I encountered a man, obviously not a guest, doing an enormous plastic tote full of laundry. With this kind of heavy use it’s not surprising that the machine doesn’t work.

The property was charming. The rooms are single-story and don't share many walls with other rooms, so it felt really private. Our room had a little seating room with a gas fire place, a bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a big bathroom with a bathtub. Breakfast was delicious and fast. Staff was helpful. The location was unbeatable, only a few blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza and walking distance to lots of other restaurants and stores. The outdoor areas looked nice as well, although it was cold so we didn't utilize them.
The small living room of our suite only had 2 chairs, and a couch would have been far cozier and more romantic. The king sized bed was so soft and saggy we ended up sleeping on the floor one night; hopefully they'll replace it.

Loved the little courtyard where our room was. Private, safe and quiet. Our room was adorable with a lovely kiva fireplace(with a complimentary bundle of firewood available each night) and a small sitting area. It was nice to have a little kitchenette also. The staff was very friendly and Eddy gave us great advice on places to eat and areas to visit in Santa Fe. Easy walking distance to the plaza and restaurants. Excellent breakfast options in a lovely space in the main check-in area. Especially loved the extra touches at the front desk like complimentary homemade potato chips and the most delicious marshmallows made by the owner!! Will definitely stay here again!
Maybe a note in the bathroom to mention running the hot water faucet for extra time to get hot water.

Loved the whole vibe of Las Palomas. It's a cluster of buildings in a residential neighborhood just a short walk from the Plaza, but a world apart. Eddie was super helpful at checkin, with great suggestions for restaurants (and the home made marshmellows were pretty great, too). Breakfasts were awesome- welcoming common rooms and great made to order breakfasts and coffee drinks. We were glad we stayed 3 nights- so we got to try tacos, burritos, blue corn pancakes, oatmeal and fruit. We stayed in the Pueblo building (across the street from the main inn) in a suite with a fireplace. The whole complex is charming, with art and statuary throughout.
