The staff was great. Front desk and housekeeping. The room was more modern, I like that lots of places to plug in chords for charging phones, etc point I really like the bench at Walnut Creek to be able to put your clothes on and your shoes on to sit down. I really liked the shelf by the front door. Great place to put purses and things just like at home kind of ready to go out the door with you.

It sounds like the hotel staff was expecting a full house. And for breakfast there was not a lot of sausage or bacon left over. We had breakfast at nine and a lot of people were there, but I did not see the kitchen staff bringing more food out. The parking spaces in the parking garage were mostly compact. A lot of cars are larger now and we’re taking up more than one space. So didn’t leave a lot of space for other vehicles.

I stay here often and always like this hotel for the location, staff, and breakfast.

The rooms can be very stuffy and muggy. Air conditioner must be on no matter the season.

Nice included breakfast. Comfortable bed. Desk space with many cable outlets. A lounge chair for reading. Good AC and wifi.

Apparently I should have been told that my room would not be serviced in the morning unless I had requested it. I have never run into that SOP before and was surprised to return to unmade bed and uncleaned bathroom. Requested the service for the following day and it was fairly slipshod. Sheets pulled together and comforter pulled up but pillows left on lounge chair. At least the wastebaskets were emptied and fresh towels put in the bathroom. I dislike gel/body wash, especially when in a pump bottle installed on the tub/shower wall where a person taking a tub bath can’t reach it without standing up out of the water. Requested and received a mini-bar of soap. 4 random ants in bathroom - killed them.

The room had plenty of light and space. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi met my needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt safe in the room and in the hotel. I liked being handed the invoice for the parking garage on the last day of my visit, so I knew what I would be expected to pay.

The breakfast meal was underwhelming. It was on the level of a school cafeteria. For the price, I would have liked to have a better selection of breakfast food. I tried it for several days, then resorted to Door Dash to get my breakfast meals.

The staff bend over backwards to help us out & to answer any questions. The room was clean & quiet - we appreciated the fridge, microwave & even a Keurig machine! The staff wonderfully supplied us with plates, utensils, & S&P for our leftovers. The pool was clean and refreshingly comfortable. The underground parking was a bonus for the current record-breaking heatwave! We have family who just moved to the area, & this is our new go-to place to stay. Thanks HI team!

Welcoming staff on arrival and each time we walked through reception. As an IHG member, appreciated late checkout. Room was tidy and clean. Hot drinks counter in reception is a great idea, which we used. Nice courtyard. Convenient location - right next door to Chick fil A, and approx $9 Uber to Broadway Plaza.

Narrow beds (think these were only doubles not queens). Breakfast was simple and limited with paper plates and plastic cutlery.

Clean and comfortable. Loved having a pool as it was a very hot July day. Breakfast exceeded expectations - good healthy choices. Very friendly and accommodating staff

Paying $15 to park was a surprise! No restaurants in walking distance, though we found a surprisingly good taco bar a few minutes drive away

Location is very convenient, especially nice that I could be dropped off in front of entrance by my family without them having to park. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast is available until 9:30. I was disappointed when I went to breakfast at 9 am, and there were no more eggs left. No one seemed to be replenishing them. It seemed that the phone volume was at maximum in the room, yet I had a hard time hearing it. I wasn't sure if it was working correctly. And it wasn't clear to me that I need to request to have my towels replenished. I am older and have not traveled in a long time. Some of these policies were new to me.

It was just nice! I loved how the interior of the room looked. It fit the scenery of walnut creek so well. Everything was so quiet and cozy, it calmed my nerves as I was there due to a surgery at aspen. Also, I never ate at chick fil a during my stay here but for anyone who relies on Lyft or taxi often it's convenient that there's a food option right next door to walk to. The complimentary breakfast was also beyond my expectations and more than what I've seen other hotels provide. Will definitely come back again just to get away and recharge for my days off or something
