Location for being in/around Walnut Creek was great. Kinda tough coming/going as the entry was very small.

There were occasional communication difficulties with front desk staff. Though pleasant, the valet staffing seemed overworked. Had to wait more than a couple of times... I had to let the front desk know that we had been waiting 10 minutes (the car had been brought out but no valet) - all I needed was anyone to give me my keys. The front desk person gave me an automatic "he'll be right there, he parking a car"... It was obvious that wasnt the case.

I stayed at the Residence Inn in Walnut Creek, CA when my home was under construction. Let me spare pet owners (specifically, cat owners) the misery of searching endless hours on Airbnb, VRBO, Craigslist, pet-friendly hotel search sites, and the like. NO ONE accommodates cats! Thank you, Residence Inn, for happily accommodating my feline friend! The all-suite accommodations are brilliantly designed: kitchen, living area (TV with Free HBO, Netflix access), workstation, basic internet (you can upgrade for $6.95/day), bedroom, plenty of closet space, full bath. Kitchen is well equipped (although water pressure in sink is abysmal, likely a water conservation effort), bath includes shampoo/conditioner and shower gel (no lotion or illuminated makeup/shaving mirror). Water pressure in shower is great. Bed is comfortable, and for cat owners, you may appreciate the platform that prevents kitty from spending her stay under the bed, genius! Property offers pool, workout equipment and hot breakfast buffet daily. All staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. Valet is busy so provide them the requested time to retrieve your car. Parking is pricy at $30.00/day (with unlimited in and out privileges). Location is convenient, but noisy, as the property is between N. California (4 lane) Blvd. and Main Street. The Bart train runs above N. California Blvd. Probably best to request an internal (courtyard view), upper-level room if you want to minimize sound. I travel with earplugs, so the sound of the street facing room was not a problem. The natural light was great even though I had a NE facing room. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend to pet owners and non-pet owners alike.

Great location

The TV wasn’t working for the whole time I was staying. It was fixed one time but stopped working again. And no one showed upped after my second request

I always pick this hotel while traveling. It has everything you need with friendly staff answering (and sometimes exceededing) any questions you ask. The room is huge, well equipped with anything and the bed is a dream to sleep in.

The breakfast is typical "continental" but could use a bit more variety.

The room layout was functional and inviting. Breakfast was all encompassing and nicely laid out. The lady who serviced the breakfast area was very accommodating as was Courtenay on the front desk. Thank you ladies.

Lighting in the area between the bathroom and sleeping area was poorly lit .

Breakfast was great! The attendant that was working, noticed I was looking for something, and he asked me what i was looking for, told him "bread" to make toast. He went out of his way to make me toast.

Even tho I asked multiple times for room service during our stay, nobody showed up, I ended up having to go up front 2 to get toilet paper and my own towels, as well as take the trash out

Location: BART walking distance, and free street parking. Pups accepted ($125 cleaning fee.) Attentive & friendly service. USB ports for easy bedside ph recharge. Super-comfy bed, lots of pillows! Generally quiet (my 2nd floor room was above outdoor social area). Loved the bathroom and cruelty-free toiletries. Kitchenette was convenient. It was clean, but my suite hadn’t been dusted in awhile.

Aside from coffee, breakfast simply awful. I’ve lived in Italy for 16 years.. it’s hard to believe Svenhards’s sugar-soybean oil pastries is what an American 4-star hotel can provide. Covid restrictions are a factor, but a quality pre-packaged food service could have been provided. Over-ripe bananas or none at all. Pasty-looking white flour bagels. Only sugary yogurt. Other shelf-stable items with 20 ingredients... someone could have researched healthier / more delicious choices. Instead of having four of everything, kitchen had one wine glass, two drinking glasses, basics for having friends for a visit not provided.

Nice staff. Large room with storage. Good shower. Vanity area. Included decent breakfast. Quiet atmosphere.

Not real near anyplace to eat .

Every thing was good. Staff was friendly and respectful.

The small can of corona beer was $10 each 🤦🏾
