nice reception room is clean staffs are very helpful convenient location

they take deposit during check-in of 200RM and it takes up to 2 weeks to refund. it has to be credit card, no cash, no debit card. So for anyone don't have credit card or do have - it is still an annoying issue

Have stayed twice before at the MOV Hotel. excellent location. Clean and very comfy beds. Great shower

No window in room. Small rooms. No cupboards Clothes hung on wall hooks. Very basic breakfast menu

I recently had a 3 night stay at the MOV Hotel. First off, the location is great. The hotel itself is really nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s just a short walk to Jalan Alor (Food Street), Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall, and a metro station. There are several great restaurants and bars all within a short walk from MOV. The room itself was large with a great shower/bathroom and safe. If you find yourself in Kuala Lumpur you won’t be disappointed if you choose MOV Hotel.

This isn't something that the hotel can control but my room was on the backside of the hotel. There is a nightclub on the street behind the hotel that parties until about 5am. The sound was mostly muted (primarily the thumping of the bass in the music) and it didn't really interrupt my sleep but I noticed it. If you're a light sleeper you may do well to ask for a room on the front side of the hotel. Once again, the hotel can't do anything about this but just a little FYI.

Good central location and very convenient. Room was okay for the cost. Razak who checked us into the Hotel was very efficient and kind and upgraded our room complimentary which was an amazing gesture. I was very pleased as we had booked the lowest grade of room without windows and whilst we didnt spend much time in the Hotel, it was great to have a view of the lights in the city. He also rang us in the room to check everything was okay. There was a slight problem with laundry on the bed for which he arranged immediate rectification of the issue. As such we got to meet the housekeeper, sorry I dont know his name but he immediately sorted out the issue with no attitude , only kindness and a smile. The rooftop relaxation area is nice to sit out on during the evening with the smells, sounds and lights of the city. The gym was used , not huge but very clean, with enough equipment to carry out a good cardio and weight sessionand not feel guilty about gorging on the fantastic food in KL.

The hotel is beginning to look a bit tired and maybe a lick of paint and attention to to small decoration issues might elevate this Hotel to a much higher level. But for what we paid and the comfort, hospitality and location is it remains somewhere that we would return to again.

- nicely designed room; haidryer, kettle, TV, good water pressure, properly working AC, clean, - unlimited tea and coffee in the lobby - nice public spaces like pool, study room, gym - amazing location; you are in the middle of the city and most of the attractions are up to 20 minutes walk - cool music in the lobby, it was constantly putting me in better mood

- a little older man working in the reception, maybe it is because of the English skills but he seemed very grumpy, did not give us a proper introduction, the rest of the staff was absolutelly amazing; always smiling and helpful but he was a big contrast comparing to them - the famous slide is not very comfortable to use as you have to ask every time for a permission - hotel seems a bit more "worn" and neglected like on the pics, you can smell some humidity here and there

We booked our stay at MOV to begin our backpacking journey as we wanted a bit of luxury after travelling for 24 hours and it didn't disappoint! The bed was huge and so comfortable! The pillows were fluffy and the room was immaculate and modern! The bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazing! The location was amazing and walkable to many places such as petronas twin towers, KLCC park and KL tower and so close to Jalan Alor food market! And I have to mention how welcoming, helpful and friendly the staff are! We couldn't have asked for anything more we absolutely loved our stay and will be staying again if we come back to KL!

This hotel was so close to Bukit Bintang, the room was comfortable and staff were super helpful. We did have a slight issue with some bugs in our room but the man at the front desk just changed our room no questions asked. Value for money was more thsn we could have asked for.

The street this hotel is on is one that I would be wary of as a solo female traveller, lots of men hanging around in groups. We had no problems at all even coming back late at night but I think it would be good to know about.

Sorry to say..🥹 last time we need one more towel,because i list already in booking.com its 3pax...Means,ME..husband & my girl..i call the Reception i need 1 more towel🥹SO SAD,They said just 2towel & we have to share ,they cannot let us use 3towel😭😭 i think the property need to give customer more comfort🥹... & about the iron...we just want to use it couple of minute in room,But CANNOT..I think the management should keep 1 iron in 1 room as the price of the hotel is a bit expensive..🤗

A booking error - which was my fault - was quickly resolved with staff going up and beyond to sort it out (without any fuss). Rooftop pool is a wonderful way to escape the weather. And if you do need to work, there is a lovely quiet room adjacent the pool that has terrific views and good a/c which is a nice place to deal with pesky emails!

Very minor issue - it would be good for the shower to have a basic light function. It was either the multi-colour light or nothing.
